Chapter 30

KENSEY

Drew took my hand and led me away from the main deck, down a narrow corridor I hadn’t noticed before. The sounds of the party faded behind us. The music, the laughter, and the clinking of glasses all became muffled as we descended a set of stairs.

“Drew, where are we going?” I whispered, even though there was no one around to hear us. I was worried security was going to jump out, flashlight beams in our faces with the jangle of cuffs promising a shitty night.

“Somewhere private.”

My heart kicked up a notch. The way he said it sent heat pooling in my belly.

“This isn’t your boat,” I hiss.

We passed several doors before he tried one, pushing it open to reveal a guest cabin.

It was small but luxurious, with a queen bed covered in crisp white linens, wood paneling on the walls, and a porthole window that let in filtered sunlight.

The gentle rocking of the yacht was more noticeable down here.

Drew pulled me inside and closed the door behind us, locking it with a soft click.

“Drew, what are you doing?”

He was on me before I could finish the thought.

His mouth found mine, hungry and insistent.

I kissed him back, my hands sliding up his chest to grip his shoulders.

He backed me toward the bed, his hands everywhere—my waist, my hips, sliding up my ribcage to cup my breasts through the thin fabric of my dress.

“Someone might catch us,” I breathed against his mouth.

“That’s what makes it exciting.” His lips moved to my neck, teeth scraping lightly over my pulse point. “Remember to be quiet.”

A shiver ran through me. I should have protested. I should have been the responsible one and suggested we wait until we were back at his place. But the heat in his eyes and the way his hands were already pushing up the hem of my dress made rational thought impossible.

“What about a condom?” I managed to ask as his fingers found the edge of my panties.

He reached into his pocket and pulled out a foil packet, holding it up with a grin that was pure sin.

I couldn’t help it. I grinned back. “You came prepared.”

“I’m always prepared when it comes to you.”

He dropped the condom on the bed and returned his attention to getting me out of my dress. The fabric slid up and over my head, leaving me in just my bra and panties. His eyes darkened as he looked at me.

“You’re so fucking beautiful,” he murmured.

I reached for his shirt, fumbling with the buttons. He helped me, shrugging it off and tossing it aside. His hands went to his belt next, and I watched as he stripped with jerky movements that suggested he was as desperate for this as I was.

When he was down to his boxers, he pushed me back onto the bed. I went willingly, my breath coming faster as he settled between my thighs. His mouth found mine again, his tongue sliding against mine in a rhythm that had me squirming beneath him.

His hand slipped between us, fingers pushing my panties aside to stroke through my wetness. I gasped against his mouth.

“Already so wet for me,” he murmured.

“Drew, please.”

He silenced me with another kiss, his fingers circling my clit with maddening pressure. I arched into his touch, trying to stay quiet like he’d commanded, but it was nearly impossible. Every stroke sent pleasure sparking through me.

He pulled back just long enough to hook his fingers in my panties and drag them down my legs. Then he was reaching for the condom, tearing it open with his teeth. I watched as he rolled it on, my mouth going dry at the sight of him.

He positioned himself at my entrance, his eyes locking with mine. “Ready?”

I nodded, unable to form words.

“No screaming my name in pleasure.”

“Stop,” I hissed.

He pushed inside in one smooth thrust that had me biting down on my lip to keep from crying out. He filled me completely, stretching me in the best way. For a moment, neither of us moved. We just stayed there, connected, breathing hard.

Then he started to move.

His hips rocked against mine. Not the usual pounding. He dragged out every stroke, pushing deep and then pulling out again. His mouth found my neck, sucking and biting just hard enough to make me gasp. The moan bubbled out of me without me even realizing it was happening.

“Quiet, baby,” he reminded me, his voice rough in my ear.

I pressed my hand over my mouth, trying to muffle the sounds I couldn’t hold back. The bed creaked beneath us with each thrust. The yacht rocked gently on the waves. Somewhere above us, the party continued, completely oblivious to what was happening in this cabin.

The danger of it, the possibility that someone could try the door or hear us, only made it hotter.

Drew’s pace increased, his breathing growing ragged. One hand slid between us to circle my clit again. That was all it took. The orgasm crashed over me without warning, my body clenching around him as waves of pleasure rolled through me. I bit down on my palm to keep from screaming.

“Fuck,” Drew groaned, his hips stuttering. “Kensey, you feel so fucking good. So sweet.”

He thrust deep one last time and stilled, his whole body going taut as he came.

I felt him throbbing inside me, watched his face contort with pleasure, and felt a surge of satisfaction knowing I’d done that to him.

For the briefest second, I thought about this without a condom.

Him inside me with no barrier. Me pregnant with his child.

Both of us were breathing hard, our bodies slick with sweat. I wanted to stay like that forever. I wanted to be held by him every morning. Every night. In the middle of a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Finally, Drew pulled out carefully and dealt with the condom, wrapping it in a tissue from the nightstand. He collapsed beside me on the bed, pulling me against his chest.

“We should get dressed,” I said. “I do not want to get caught.”

“Trust me, we are not the first couple to steal away and find a private room.”

“Really? You think others are down here messing up beds?”

He grinned and kissed me before pulling away. “I can pretty much guarantee it.”

“Oh. Wow. You rich people sure know how to party.”

We dressed quickly, both of us trying to smooth out wrinkles and fix hair that looked suspiciously like we’d just been rolling around in bed. Because we had.

I caught sight of myself in the small mirror by the door and tried to finger-comb my hair into something presentable. My lips were swollen, my cheeks flushed. Anyone who looked at me was going to know exactly what I’d been doing.

Drew came up behind me, adjusting his collar. His eyes met mine in the mirror and he grinned.

“You look thoroughly ravaged,” he said.

“Thanks. That’s the look I was going for.”

He reached for my panties, which were still on the floor by the bed. I held out my hand for them, but instead of giving them to me, he slipped them into his pocket.

“Drew!”

“What?” His expression was pure innocence. “I’m keeping them safe.”

“I need those.”

“No, you don’t. The dress is long enough. No one will know.”

Heat rushed through me at the thought of walking around the party with nothing on under my dress. “You’re terrible.”

“I’m creative.” He kissed my temple. “I’m just saving time for the next time I have my way with you.”

I laughed, nervous and excited. “Just how long are we out here on this thing?”

“Long enough.”

“You’re terrible.”

“Come on. Let’s get back before someone sends a search party.”

We slipped out of the cabin and made our way back up to the main deck.

The party was still in full swing. If anyone had noticed our absence, they didn’t say anything.

Drew’s hand found the small of my back, guiding me through the crowd.

I was hyperaware of the empty space between my thighs, the fabric of my dress brushing against bare skin with every step.

We found Victoria and Callum near the bar.

Victoria pulled me into a conversation about the charity work she was planning, something about expanding the program to include more schools.

I tried to focus on what she was saying.

I really did. But Drew was standing beside me with his hand casually in his pocket—the pocket where my panties were—and I couldn’t stop thinking about it.

His fingers moved slightly. Was he touching them? The thought sent a shiver through me.

“Don’t you think, Kensey?”

I blinked and realized Victoria had asked me a question. “I’m sorry, what?”

She smiled knowingly. “I asked if you thought teachers would be receptive to having volunteers come in to help with the lunch program.”

“Oh. Yes. Absolutely. Most teachers would love the extra support.” I forced myself to focus. “Especially in underfunded schools where resources are stretched thin.”

Drew’s hand shifted in his pocket again. I felt his eyes on me, hot and deliberate. I glanced at him and caught the smirk playing at the corner of his mouth. He knew exactly what he was doing to me.

“That’s what I thought,” Victoria said. “We’re meeting with the district next week to pitch some ideas. Tiana is so excited.”

A burst of laughter from across the deck interrupted her. Hollis and Micah were surrounded by a new group of women, having recovered from their earlier name debacle. Micah said something that made the whole group laugh.

“Those two are incorrigible,” Victoria said with a shake of her head.

“They’re having fun,” Callum said. “Let them be idiots.”

Drew excused us after a few more minutes, claiming he wanted to show me something on the upper deck. We climbed the stairs and found a quieter corner away from the main party. The sun was starting to sink lower on the horizon. It was a signal that our time on the yacht was coming to an end.

He pulled me against him, his back to the railing so we were facing the party. From here we could see everything—the guests mingling, the models still working the crowd, the crew moving through it all like ghosts carrying expensive appetizers.

His hand slid down to my hip, then lower, bunching the fabric of my dress slightly.

“Drew,” I warned, but my voice came out breathy.

“No one’s looking.” His fingers traced lines on me. “You look so fucking good in this dress. I keep thinking about what’s not underneath it.”

I pressed my thighs together, trying to ignore the heat building between them. “You can’t do this here.”

“I’m not doing anything.” His hand stilled but didn’t move away. “Just standing here with my girlfriend.”

That word again. Girlfriend. It shouldn’t have affected me the way it did, but every time he said it, something warm bloomed in my chest.

“We should probably head back down,” I said, even though I didn’t want to move.

“In a minute.” He turned me so I was facing the water instead of the party, his body pressed against my back. His arms wrapped around my waist. “I want to watch the sunset with you.”

So we stood there as the sky turned from orange to deep pink to purple. Other guests had the same idea, couples drifting toward the railings to watch.

“This is nice,” I murmured.

“It is.” His lips brushed my ear. “I keep thinking about later.”

“Later?”

“When I get you home.” His voice dropped lower. “When I can take my time with you. No rushing. No worrying about getting caught.”

My breath hitched. “Drew.”

“I’m going to peel that dress off you so slowly,” he continued, his words sending shivers down my spine. “Taste every inch of skin I uncover. Make you come so many times you lose count.”

“You’re evil,” I breathed.

“I’m motivated.”

The sun slipped below the horizon, taking the last of the light with it. String lights flickered on across the yacht, casting everything in a warm, golden glow. The party shifted into evening mode. The music got louder, the laughter more raucous, the drinks flowing faster.

All I wanted was the yacht to head back to the dock. I wanted to be at his house. In his bed with him on top of me. Screw the yacht party.
