Chapter Eight #3
Delauney met Wes’ gaze briefly before he leaned down to take the man’s cock in his mouth.
From Wes’ place below them, he had a perfect view of Delauney’s lips parting around it, the way his throat moved as he sank down its length, and the soft, almost imperceptible sounds he made as he tried not to choke.
Wes gripped his hands, rocking back as the man fucking him set a hard, fast pace.
This time, when the doms returned with the flogger, Delauney did make a sound at the first strike.
He groaned around the cock in his mouth, then squealed, voice muffled as the braided dom started fucking his mouth in earnest. As Delauney squeaked and whimpered above him, Wes’ breath came short as the man fucking him grabbed him by the thighs, slamming him hard into his cock.
Delauney choked at last, throat fluttering, saliva trailing down his chin.
The man taking Wes pulled out suddenly, leaving him empty and aching, and Wes tried to close his legs to rub his thighs helplessly against his cock. Someone clicked their tongue and parted his legs again, and he felt come spill onto his lower belly.
“You’re next,” someone said, and Wes groaned as another, rougher pair of hands grabbed his legs. They pushed his legs up until he was afraid he would bump into the man fucking Delauney’s mouth by mistake, and Wes felt a much larger cock stretch him further still.
When the braided man came, he pulled out before he was done, letting his spend fall over Delauney’s face and onto Wes. It spattered over Wes’ cheek and nose, and Delauney looked down at him in concern, still gasping for breath.
“Clean him up, then,” the dom said, carefully getting off the table.
Delauney bent down slowly, nervously, and licked Wes’ cheek.
Wes tipped his head back, silently begging for a kiss.
It was messy and awkward with their faces in the wrong position, but Wes didn’t care, and he certainly doubted Delauney did, either.
They tried their level best regardless, gasping and panting as the people behind Delauney flogged his thighs and the man fucking Wes pulled out to give another dom a try.
Wes quickly lost track of how many people stretched him full.
He was too distracted by Delauney, who was always leaning down to kiss him.
Their hands stayed bound until someone got the clever idea to put Delauney in the stocks with his cock in Wes’ throat, jerking every time a dom fucked into Delauney from behind.
Delauney came then, with Wes kneeling below him and a stranger’s cock making him rattle the stocks.
Wes swallowed him down, throat constricting around his cock as he spent himself limp and boneless.
One of the doms released him, letting him fall into Wes’ arms.
“Your man should be the last one to fuck you,” someone said, and Delauney nodded, reaching for Wes with both hands.
“Spirits,” Delauney whispered, parting his legs as Wes leaned over him on the barroom floor. “You certainly know how to wring a fellow out. You do this every time you come here?”
“I try,” Wes said. He kissed Delauney softly.
Delauney was fucked loose, his hole slick with oil and come, and Wes rocked into him with gentle, slow strokes.
The doms around them weren’t touching them, now.
They were simply watching, some stroking themselves off, others writhing together in the shadows, some sprawled on the benches with a fierce light in their eyes.
“I think I like this part the best,” Delauney whispered, wrapping his arms around Wes’ shoulders. Wes felt something tight unravel in his chest, and he kissed Delauney again, unable to answer. Delauney rocked to meet his thrusts, pressing their faces together cheek-to-cheek.
“Come inside me, Wes,” he said. “Please.”
Wes’ hips stuttered as he came, still holding Delauney tenderly, heart pounding hard.
He felt someone come over his back as they stood over them, and another on his ass, but Wes could still only think of Delauney below him, of his breath and his heat, the sparkle in his eyes.
He kissed him again, still gentle, and realized with a start that he could only have this and be content.
Only Delauney, with his cleverness and his softness, his fussy clothes and the impulse that spurred him to rescue convicted sailors.
“Here,” someone said, and Wes drew back as the braided dominant lay a hand on his forehead. He had a pair of cloths over an arm. “Do you two need help coming down?”
“No,” Delauney said, still staring up at Wes. “Just Wesley.”
The dom smiled. “All right, then.” He handed the cloths to Wes.
Wes looked around to find that most of the crowd had dispersed, either slipping out the door or milling around the flogging post, where a woman with an enormous back tattoo was standing.
“It’s nice to see submissives looking out for each other.
But if you need a dominant touch, I’m heading outside for a smoke. ”
Wes nodded. He usually did rely on nearby dominants to come out of subspace, but he felt oddly private in that moment. He just wanted to be with Delauney for a while, tending to him, helping him slip out of the haze that had likely overtaken them both.
“You were lovely,” Delauney said, as Wes helped him up.
“So were you,” Wes said. Delauney smiled sleepily and gave him a slow, lingering kiss.
They cleaned up as much as they could before changing back into their clothes, but Wes knew that they’d need a proper soak, so he led Delauney to a bathhouse down the street.
The baths there were actually springs lined with paving stones, and they found a quiet corner to sink into while the stars glimmered high overhead.
Delauney couldn’t seem to keep his hands off of him, slinging an arm around Wes’ waist as they gazed up at the sky.
“It wouldn’t have been the same without you,” Delauney said. He was still staring at the stars, his hair dripping water onto his shoulders.
“This evening?” Wes asked.
“I mean all of it,” Delauney said. “I was stuck before I met you, Wes. I had the spectroscope designed, but I didn’t know if I’d have the courage to do more than poke at it here and there. I didn’t think I could be clever enough to apply for the Aviary again. Now I think it might be possible.”
Wes leaned against him. “I didn’t think I’d be doing more than hard labor before you poked your nose in.”
“But you’re so...” Delauney closed his eyes for a breath.
“So resolute. And you’ve picked up concepts that took me years to learn.
” Wes frowned, ready to protest, but Delauney cut him off.
“I know what you’ll say, but it’s true. Not because I’m not intelligent.
I just didn’t have the motivation. I felt like I had to hide, because I believed everything people have told me about myself. You broke all that apart so quickly.”
Wes followed Delauney’s gaze to the stars.
Now that he’d known Delauney for a while, he could track most of them, even the ones that he’d never thought had any logical purpose before.
“I was stuck, too, you know. The moment my parents had me dragged off to the navy, it was like my life ended there. I was stuck in place while my brother and sister moved on and made lives of their own. So I know what you mean. Maybe we recognized that in each other.”
“Maybe so,” Delauney said. He turned to look at Wes, a strange, new emotion in his face. It was like fondness, Wes thought, but more intimate, as though the stars had folded up around them so that only Wes and Delauney were left in the universe. “I’m glad you’re here, Wesley.”
Wes couldn’t find the right words for the feeling surging in his chest. He kissed Delauney rather than search for them, but he could feel them in Delauney’s touch, his breath, the way his arm tightened around Wes’ waist as they moved in the water. “So am I.”
