Chapter 25 Rory
Rory
I’m not going to have it. Their ignorant and aggressive murmurs about Bonnie are loud enough that Vale and I have been able to hear everything.
I hum and get an idea.
“Can you just hold the fort for a moment, alpha of mine?”
Vale flashes me an indulgent smile. “Sure. Going to go play?”
“I have an idea of how to fix our problem.”
I disappear and get ahead of the group, scanning the canopy until I find the perfect branch.
I quickly assemble my slingshot and take aim.
The group appears on the trail, Justin still happily chatting about bugs.
Which I might be amused by, but he’s stolen Bonnie’s attention, and she is doing her absolute utmost to avoid us.
I can still taste her on my lips. It was as good as anything I’ve ever experienced. I could live in her pussy, sustained simply by her slick and those feral gasps she made. The memory of the way her satin thighs hugged my head as she writhed and fucked my face instantly gets me hard again.
Everything about this omega gets me hard.
Nathan stalks up the track and gets to the exact spot I need him to be in. I let go of the jagged rock and send it flying to the branch. The widow maker cracks and then suddenly drops.
“Hey, Nathan, come see this,” Bonnie says.
He stops and turns around. Bonnie’s eyes watch the widow maker crash down. She presses her lips together but doesn’t react. I sit up, staring at her intently. She can’t see me, but I’ve got an uninterrupted view of her face that no one else can see.
“She fucking knows!” I whisper in awe.
Nathan squeals and jumps back, shrieking over and over.
The branch lies on the track heavily. A wasted opportunity, but maybe not so wasted.
I push up and wander back to Vale’s side and approach the group from behind.
She casts a dark look in our direction.
“She knows.”
“How?” Vale growls.
“I don’t know, but she knows what we’re doing. She saved him. She saw it. There was no surprise on her face. I’m telling you, Alpha. Our omega knows what we’re about and is actively thwarting our kills.”
Vale’s smile is dark and evil. “I’d love to know how she knows.”
“It’s going to be a fascinating mystery.”
Vale rubs his chest. “My turn.”
Over the next few hours, Vale stays quiet and unobtrusive, but then, all of a sudden, he disappears, and when he comes back, he’s running, shouting as something chases him.
All I hear is growling and screams as the betas and alphas panic and flee.
Vale sends the group racing off the trail.
Bonnie calls and tries to gather everyone back, but it’s hopeless.
I follow her discreetly as she chases after the alphas. She shouts and grabs Rojer by his pack. His arms windmill as he teeters on the edge of a cliff, about to fall to his doom.
Vale stands higher up the hill and watches as Bonnie drags the rapist back to safety.
He crouches down but doesn’t move.
She listens to Rojer shout abuse at her, but before he can hit her, Kota appears and grabs her wrist.
“Come on, we have to get back to the trail,” he says, glaring at Rojer.
They leave without seeing either of us. Or at least I think they do, right up until Bonnie turns and looks straight at where Vale is hiding himself. She doesn’t see me, though.
I walk up to Vale and crouch beside him.
He’s smiling as he draws in the dirt with a stick. Just random doodles and designs.
“Vale?”
He looks up, his eyes shining. “She’s amazing.”
“She is,” I agree. “So, what do we want to do about it?”
He stands up, smiling. “We keep playing. She’s going to lose, eventually. She can’t protect them forever.”
We make our way back down to the trail and find everyone waiting for us.
“What even was that creature?” Kendall says and pulls out an inhaler and sprays it into his mouth.
“It was a wolverine!” Vale says with a shrug of his shoulders. “I was exploring, and I stumbled across its kill.”
“Why the fuck did you run straight back towards us, man?” Quincy hollers.
Vale, through the acting of the century, shrugs and looks embarrassed. “I panicked. I couldn’t get it to stop following me.”
Quincy stares at him and then starts to laugh. “Your weakness is Wolverines. Good to know, Vale. I thought you were a damn superhero with no weaknesses up to this point.”
“I defy anyone not to run when confronted with a pissed-off wolverine!” Vale says in his defense.
“Maybe leading it to the group, not such a hot idea,” Bonnie says with a smile that doesn’t reach her eyes.
“I’m really sorry, everyone,” Vale says, chastised.
“You’re going to be!” Kota snaps and leaps on Vale, dragging him to the dirt and punching him lightly.
Bonnie rolls her eyes.
“We should get out of here in case it comes back.”
I’m not worried about it coming back. Cyn took care of it. He’s the most terrifying thing in this forest, but if that’s what Bonnie wants to do, then that’s what we do.
It takes a couple of minutes, but we’re back to walking. We’ve been heading up in altitude all day, climbing rocks and following thin trails made by animals.
“Right,” Bonnie says after she’s called a halt.
“We’re about to enter a section with a steep fall on one side.
I need everyone to listen to me carefully.
There are guide ropes, but I want you to go slow and easy.
If anyone has any trouble, shout out, but otherwise, just keep moving.
Our camp for the night is on the other side. ”
I’m not sure how she maneuvers it, but the alphas are mixed with the betas with no way for us to influence things. I grind my teeth, but I’m relieved to know she’s with us.
“Perhaps he’ll do us a favour and fall to his death on his own.”
“Don’t be ridiculous, that wouldn’t be fun at all,” Kota growls.
Bonnie stays at the start of the track, talking them through one at a time. There’s a sheer cliff on one side and a steep hill down on the other.
They stop moving.
“What’s going on?” Bonnie shouts.
“Nathan can’t get through, he’s frozen!” Rojer shouts.
“Shit!”
I drop my pack down and launch onto the trail before she can go.
It’s much harder than I anticipated it would be.
My foot slides out on the shale before I can catch myself.
I jump up at the cliff wall and spider my way around to where I find Nathan hugging the cliff.
He’s not even halfway, but if he gets past this part, it will be easy to pass.
I drop behind him, grab his pack, drag him down, and shove him forward.
“Fucking move before you kill everyone.”
“I don’t want to die.”
She didn’t want to either. For a second, I hold him still, fighting the urge to just throw him to his death.
“You’ll die if you don’t move. Now grab that guide rope, Nathan, and move your fucking feet.”
He bursts into tears, snot and ridiculous sobs.
“Move!” I say with no empathy.
“I can't!"
I consider my options. There aren’t many of them. I hit him. He collapses, limp in my grip. I clamber over him, then drag his useless dead weight to the other side.
“All right, come through!”
They start moving, and when Rojer gets across, he kicks Nathan hard and stalks to sit on his own.
Fascinating. Looks like their alliance is starting to fall apart.
When Bonnie gets across, she looks at Nathan and then me.
“Is he all right?”
“He’s just going to have a bit of a bruise, but he’ll wake up and be the same coward he always is.”
She nods and turns away.
I peer at her. That’s not a normal reaction from an omega either. Normally, they want to help or get hysterical over the blood or potential for blood. Perhaps even fear me like I’d hit them.
She just shrugs it off.
There is so much more to her than we suspected.
“I’ll go get water,” I say.
“I’ll show you,” Bonnie murmurs. “Come on, Rory.”
I follow her into the twilight and through the forest to a spring that she shows me.
“We don’t need to boil it, so we can just drink from here.” She lays down on the ground and cups her hands, drinking straight from the water. I kneel beside her.
“You’re not a very typical omega, Bonnie Sanderson.”
She stiffens.
I roll her onto her back and run my hand up her side and cup her breast, squeezing hard.
“I took care of Cyn this morning. He tasted like your delicious pussy.”
Her eyes get wide; she stares at me as I knead her breast.
“When he came in my mouth, he hissed your name.”
“Jealous?”
“No, knowing what your pussy tastes like and how you felt fucking my tongue, I felt sorry for him.”
She groans and squirms again. I inhale the rich, warm scent of her arousal in the air.
“Especially as you say it can’t happen again,” I murmur and remove my hand from her breast. “Such a shame.”
She scrambles away from me. “You four are diabolical.”
I grin and lean down to drink.
She waits until I back off to get water again. While she’s leaning down, I lean in and over her.
“Just remember this…if I can give you three mind-blowing orgasms with my mouth…imagine what I could do with my pack and my cock in play.”
She chokes.
“Just think about how good we could be together, Bonnie.” I let out a low, deep chuckle. “I know I will be.”
“Damn you.”
“Probably, but it will never feel so good as it will with us.”
She grabs her water containers and gets up, brushing past me. I follow her as we set up for the night.
Tonight, she sleeps in the sleeping bag outside.
So do we.
I stroke my cock to the memory of her pussy on my face and promise that we’ll fix things with her.
Even if it takes the rest of my pitiful life.
