Chapter 21
Dallas
I can’t believe I’m actually thinking about going to get a fresh STD test just so I can go bare. I had my last one four months ago, and I’m careful. I want to come inside of him so badly.
But if I get another test, that would imply we’re going to do this again, and we’re never doing this again.
Just tonight.
I trail my tongue along his jaw. He knew what he was doing when he started drooling over me and jerking off. What am I supposed to do?
I roll my hips into him, my dick dying a slow, painful death. There are half a dozen people I can call off the top of my head to come screw me, but his ass is like a goddamn vise grip. Still.
It took a long time to fuck someone the past few years and not wish it was him instead, but we’re here now, half naked, and I swallowed his cum. I’m getting mine.
“There has to be a condom somewhere,” I grumble, biting and nibbling his neck. “How about the nurse’s office?”
“It’s a Catholic school.”
I meet his eyes, grinning. “Precisely.”
It just means they’re hidden.
“There are the lockers.” I lie back down. “Who’s the popular meathead this year?”
“It’s summer,” he retorts in a lazy tone. “Lockers are empty.”
Fuck.
Leaning down, he breathes across my mouth. “If you want me, you know what to do.”
And I can’t figure out if he really wants it or if he’s taunting me.
Undoubtedly the latter.
I grab him and push him down on the mat, onto his stomach, and climb on his back. He fights me, and I scramble for his arms, pinning him.
“Call them off,” I say in his ear.
He can send those motherfuckers home right now, and I can go get a condom in my car.
But he shakes his head. “Nah, I’m good.”
I grind into his ass, his warmth already filtering through my clothes. “Callum…” I beg.
What the fuck am I doing? I don’t pine for people. I can get it from anyone.
He’s pissing me off. I have to fuck him now. I refuse to let him beat me.
“It’s for the best,” he says over his shoulder. “He’ll want me as tight as possible.”
My face falls. Motherfucker.
Pressing my forearm into his back, I hold him down and take out my phone, laying it on the mat above his head.
Dialing Trace, I put it on speaker. He’ll be at the bar. Two minutes away.
“Hey, man,” my little brother answers.
“Hey, I need you to do something for me,” I tell him in a rush. “It’s gonna suck, and it’s dangerous, and you can’t get caught.”
A second passes, and then I hear him hiss, “Shit.”
Callum tries to get out from under me, but I rise up and pin his neck to the fucking floor.
“I’m at Marymount,” I call out. “I need you to fly by and draw Milo Price and Vincent Law away from the parking lot.”
Callum growls, and I come down again, planting my hand over his mouth.
He struggles, so I hurry. “Can you do that and get back to the bar without getting caught?” I ask Trace.
“This better not be for some piece of ass.”
I smile. “Only the best one I’ve ever had.”
Callum quiets and stops struggling, and I rise up on all fours, sliding my hand into his hair as I move my mouth over the back of his neck.
“All right,” Trace finally says, and I can hear keys jingle.
“I’ll owe you,” I tell him.
“And I will collect,” he barks. “Macon’s gonna have my head.”
I end the call, Callum scrambles for his pocket, and I yank out his hand. Jamming in my own, I take his phone.
Dipping my nose close to his ear, I whisper, “You said I could have you if I got a condom.”
No need to call his friends now. I gave him a chance.
Putting both phones in my pocket, I shoot to my feet and walk toward the door, glancing over my shoulder.
Callum rises up, and I flash a grin before throwing open the door and running.
Trace won’t be long, and I need to be ready. Racing around the courtyard, I run for the side door where my car is parked. Callum could find another phone and warn his friends that it’s a diversion, but will he?
I hear the door swing open again behind me, Callum on my ass.
I run, not sure if he’s going to fight me or run out the door himself, but I get there first and slam my hands into the doorframe, peering out the window.
Callum rushes up to me, gripping my torso, under my arms. “What if I tell you…” he says in my ear.
“That you’ll lose your job if you go out there? ”
Taking one of his hands, I rub it over my aching groin. “You and I both know what you’re really paying me for.”
He wants me here where he can keep an eye on me, for both his safety and his pleasure.
I turn to look back at him over my shoulder and kiss him hard, moving my mouth over his. “A deal’s a deal,” I point out.
A horn blares through the walls and the rain, and I look through the pane of glass.
Trace’s truck emerges behind the gate and the trees, rain glimmering in front of his headlights.
He speeds past, and in a second, a BMW darts out from my left, racing across the parking lot and following him.
In moments, they’re both gone, and I dig out my keys.
“Don’t get caught,” Callum warns, backing away from me. “Because I won’t help you.”
I swing open the door, smiling as I run into the rain. He’s gonna pay for that.
Turning my eyes left and then right, I scan the lot for any bodies and hurry to my car.
Unlocking it, I dive in, the cool rain pummeling my spine, but it still feels hot.
The thick air blankets my skin, and the target on my back kicks up my adrenaline.
Who knows who else might be around? A cop? Another Ministry member?
Flipping open the glove box, I swipe my hand, pulling everything onto the floor in a panic.
I’m holding my breath until I spot a packet in the cupholder. “Fuck yes,” I gasp, grabbing it. “Thank you, God.”
I’m gonna bend that golden boy over every surface of my classroom.
I slam the door of my Supra, keeping my eyes alert as I lock it. Running back to the building, I half expect to find the door locked, but it turns out he’s not a pussy after all. The door swings open, and I pull it closed behind me, locking it.
Drifting back down the corridor, I train my ears, hearing the rain fall in the courtyard, hitting the leaves of the banana trees. I finally see him at the top of the stairs, turning the corner up to my room with a little look back at me.
Those long legs in black. How his back curves from the waist up to his neck. All those muscles. That perfect skin.
Something fucking flutters in my chest. He had a hold on me all those years ago, and I didn’t just walk away. I ran.
I loved being around him. I loved being in him. I loved looking at him.
And I will survive him.
I can take what I want from who I want, and I’ll prove it.
Combing back my wet hair with my hand, I follow him up the stairs and see him ascending another flight, passing my room.
In a minute, we’re climbing the spiral staircase to the Ministry offices, and when I cross the secretary’s lounge with mahogany walls and creepy red carpet, I spot the cracked double doors ahead.
Entering, I find him in the middle of the room, the flicker of the wall sconces the only light, and his back to a leather couch.
To my left sit rows of floor-to-ceiling shelves lined with books.
Rain drips off my body, and I run my hand over my face to wipe it off.
“You’re not any closer to getting the land,” I tell him, inching closer. “You’re not any closer to hindering my family.”
He’s done nothing but lose. He didn’t outwit me in the Wolfe Room. He didn’t catch me out past curfew. He can’t stay off me any more than I can him.
“Keep the curfew forever for all I care,” I taunt, flipping the packet between my fingers. “It won’t keep me caged, and it won’t keep me off you when I want you.”
I close the distance and push him down onto the couch, straddling his lap. Sliding my fingers into his hair, I ball my hand into a fist and dive into his mouth. “I want you,” I breathe over his mouth, kissing him and looking into his eyes. “I wanted you in my bed all weekend.”
His brow pinches, his hands taking my hips.
“Is that what he said to you?” I ask Callum.
His gaze narrows, and he swallows. I’ll never say those things to him.
“He said he thinks about me,” he says. “He said he can’t stop.”
A jolt hits my heart, but I tamp it down.
I don’t care if another man is thinking about him. We’ll say anything to get laid.
But still…
I don’t like that another man thinks he’s available. He’s not. Not yet.
I grip his jaw in my hand and kiss him hard, and then I rise up on my knees, letting him hold me. His arm circles my waist, his other hand grabbing my ass.
“He said he’d cook for me,” he pants. “And show me his shower…”
I slip my tongue deep into his mouth, his lips working mine in a way I feel in the pit of my stomach. It’s like an itch, and I just want him more. I can’t stop.
“And he said—”
I grip his throat, squeezing and shutting him up. “So what are you doing here with me?” I grit through my teeth.
I stare down at him, his head resting back on the cushion.
“Because I think about you,” he murmurs. “I can’t stop.”
I shake my head, something building in my gut that I can’t control. Motherfucker.
“I love your cock.” He stares at my mouth, begging for it. “I love it inside me.”
“Goddammit.” I climb off of him and pull him up, quickly pushing down his pants as he kicks off his shoes and slips off his socks.
Picking him up, I kneel on the couch again, his spine resting against the back of the couch as he straddles me.
And I can’t fucking touch everything fast enough. My hands slide up his thighs to his ass and my mouth comes down on his chest, my tongue tasting in between the kisses and bites.
Callum drapes an arm over his eyes, breathing hard. “Fuck, man.”
I don’t stop as I push my pants down and pull myself out, grabbing the condom where I dropped it on the couch.
Rain—or sweat—trickles down the back of my neck, and I reach down to roll on the rubber, Callum lifting up to give me room.
I’m so hard, I roll it on and come down on top of him, kissing his body again and running my hands over every fucking inch of him I can reach.
