Chapter 27
The bikini argument the next morning lasted a while.
Helena had laid it out on the bed while Caitlin was in the shower…
a Brazilian string bikini, green with silver strings to match the necklace, it covered precisely what it was legally required to cover and not an inch more.
She’d bought it for Caitlin in S?o Paulo during her lunch break the day before, guessing the size and hoping she was right.
Caitlin came out of the bathroom without a stitch of clothing on her, obedient as ever, saw the bikini, and stopped in her tracks.
“No.”
“Yes.”
“Helena, that’s not a bikini. I wear bikinis, so I know. That’s nudity dressed up as the pretence of clothing.”
“That’s what women wear on Brazilian beaches. You’ll blend right in.”
“I’d blend right in on a nudist beach because there’s virtually nothing to it. It’s string, Helena. String won’t cover… these and that.” She gestured at her chest and between her legs.
“There’s fabric there. You’ll be fine. Look…” Helena climbed out from under the covers, nude herself, and rummaged through her bag until she found her own bikini, equally skimpy. “I’m going to wear this, it’s the same, just mine is pink.” She held it up. “See?”
“I… prove it.”
“That it’s pink?” Helena grinned as she said it.
Caitlin shook her head in exasperation. “Put it on. Show me.” She hesitated.
“I know… I trust you, of course I do, but being naked with you is very, very different for me than going naked in front of others. Round here, I know I’m not wearing any clothes at all today. Out on the beach… that’s different.”
“Not naked. You’ll be wearing a bikini.”
“I have never worn anything close to that revealing in public. Ever. I might as well go naked.”
“Don’t tempt me, Gatinha.” She flashed a wicked smile as she said it and was pleased to see Caitlin blush hard. “Ok, I’ll prove it.”
Helena put her own bikini on, tying the string on each hip, then the strings on the top round her back and her neck. She adjusted the fabric a little, because you always had to when there was so little of it, and stood across the room from Caitlin. “Happy?”
If Helena could have frozen Caitlin’s expression at that moment, she would have done… it was perfect. Her mouth had dropped open a little, her cheeks and neck were flushed, and her hand went to her own collarbone reflexively. She seemed like she was in a trance.
“Happy?” Helena asked again.
Caitlin smiled shyly… not a look that she gave often, but it suited her. “It looks incredible on you, Minha Dona.”
Helena beamed. “You think?” She turned on the spot, ostensibly to check something but really to show Caitlin how it looked from behind where there was literally string and nothing else.
“I’m not going to be able to concentrate on anything knowing you’re next to me wearing that.”
“Your turn.”
Caitlin hesitated for just a moment. “Fine. I’m getting changed in the bathroom though.”
Helena laughed as Caitlin picked up her own bikini and disappeared behind the door.
She’d known she’d wear it in the end, because Caitlin had a competitive streak deep down that she couldn’t hide all the time to go with her recently discovered submissive side, and once she saw that Helena was going to wear the same then no way could she back down.
Three minutes later Caitlin came back out and Helena’s breath left her body.
The bikini fit perfectly… the green against Caitlin’s skin, the minimal fabric accentuating her body rather than hiding it, the strings tied at her hips and behind her neck.
Caitlin was lean and toned from years of running and gym work, and the bikini turned her into something elemental, all lines and angles and skin that Helena just wanted to touch and kiss and lick and bite.
The necklace sitting around her neck was the finishing touch.
“Well?” Caitlin asked, her arms slightly out in a gorgeous mix of defiance and uncertainty.
“Perfeita,” Helena breathed. “My God, Gatinha. You look…”
“…half-naked?”
“You look like you belong on this beach. You look like a Brazilian.” Helena walked over and adjusted one of the strings at Caitlin’s hip, a gesture that made Caitlin shiver. “You’re wearing this today. That’s not a suggestion. That is your Dona’s command.”
“I know.” Caitlin looked at herself in the mirror. Her expression changed as she took herself in properly, the defiance fading to be replaced by something closer to surprise. She looked good and now she could see it. “Ok. Fine. But if anyone stares…”
“Everyone will stare, Gatinha. Because you’re stunning. Deal with it.”
Caitlin gave her a look that was three parts exasperation and one part pleasure, and they headed for the beach.
***
The morning was exactly what mornings at the beach house were supposed to be like: they laid their towels on the sand and relaxed, nothing more, nothing less.
Caitlin, lying next to Helena, gradually relaxed as she realised that Helena had been right…
while the beach was far from busy, every woman on it was wearing something not too dissimilar.
They swam when they got too hot. The water was warm and clear. Helena was a good swimmer, the benefit of growing up visiting the beach house often, but Caitlin kept up with her, matching her stroke for stroke.
After, they lay in the sun again.
“Gatinha, I think I need more sunscreen.”
Caitlin turned her head to look at Helena with a smile. “Of course, Minha Dona.”
She started out practical, but it seemed that Caitlin couldn’t resist the temptation to escalate things between them.
Her hands moved slowly but firmly, massaging as much as applying, and when she rubbed some of the sunscreen on Helena’s thighs her thumbs brushed somewhere altogether inappropriate that sent a thrill rolling through her body.
“You’re not applying sun cream,” Helena murmured. “You’re seducing me.”
“Didn’t you know I’m good at multitasking?”
“You do seem to be good at it, Gatinha. Careful… two can play that game.”
They walked along the beach to the headland and back. Caitlin asked about the town, the restaurants, and the coast stretching in both directions. Helena pointed out landmarks and told the stories that had accumulated over so many years of coming here.
In the early afternoon, when the beach was quieter as people retreated for their lunch, they went back into the water.
They swam out past the gentle surf to where they could just about stand with their heads above water.
The blue stretched around them, and at that hour there was nobody within a hundred yards.
Perfeita, Helena thought. Time to surprise my Gatinha.
“I want you to do something for me,” Helena said.
Caitlin tilted her head, lips pursed, reading Helena’s tone instantly. “What is it, Minha Dona?”
“Take off your bikini.”
Caitlin looked at her, then at the beach. Helena could see that she was weighing up how much privacy they really had, but then also weighing up how much she wanted to obey.
“In the water?”
“In the water. Both pieces. Give them to me.”
“We’re… there are people on the beach.”
“Who can’t see anything beneath the surface. We’re two women swimming. That’s all anyone can see.” Helena held her gaze. “Take it off, Gatinha. For me.”
The moment stretched on. Helena could see the thrill of the command competing with her innate caution, the submissive desperate to do as her dominant had ordered versus the force-of-nature assessing the risks.
Caitlin reached behind her neck and untied the top. She held it for a moment in her hand, then she gave it to Helena. Her hands went below the surface and, after a few moments, she handed the bottoms to Helena too.
Helena held her gaze. “Colour?”
“Verde.” Caitlin gave a wry smile. “But if I get arrested, you’re paying any fine, Minha Dona.”
Helena laughed. “That’s fair.” She studied Caitlin, whose expression was an intoxicating mix of vulnerability and exhilaration. “How does it feel?”
“Terrifying. And incredible.” Caitlin’s voice was unsteady. “Incredibly terrifying and terrifyingly incredible. The water feels different on my… on everything.”
“It does.” Helena moved closer, close enough that their legs touched underwater. “Put your arms around my neck.”
Caitlin obeyed, wrapping her arms around Helena’s neck, her body pressed against Helena’s beneath the surface. Helena could feel the warmth of her through the water. “Now wrap your legs around me.”
Caitlin obeyed again, and Helena’s hands moved underwater, finding Caitlin’s body and using one to help support her while the other could roam freely. Caitlin inhaled sharply.
“Here?” Caitlin whispered. “In the ocean?”
“In the ocean. Nobody can see. Nobody will know.” Helena’s fingers found their destination and Caitlin’s arms tightened around her neck, her forehead pressing against Helena’s. “Just us and the water, Gatinha. Our secret… nobody else will have any idea.”
She touched Caitlin slowly, the water making everything slick and wet while the buoyancy helped to hold them both.
It was unlike anything they’d done before…
the openness of the sky, the depth of the water around them, the sun beating down on their faces while Helena’s hand worked rhythmically between Caitlin’s legs.
The waves rocked them gently and the rhythm of the ocean became the rhythm of Helena’s touch, slow and relentless.
Caitlin’s breathing started to break. Her fingers dug into Helena’s shoulders. Her face was pressed against Helena’s neck now and the sounds she made were small, private, lost to the vastness around them.
“Let go,” Helena whispered. “Nobody can hear you out here. Cum for me, Gatinha.”
Caitlin came with her face buried in Helena’s shoulder, her body shuddering, and her legs tightening around Helena’s waist. The sounds she made were swallowed by the ocean and the sky, and Helena held her, using both hands to help support her now, feeling the aftershocks pulse through Caitlin’s body in the warm, salt water.
