Moose Chapter 11

The most unbelievable orgasm of my life was followed by panic when I felt Zisa go limp under me. Pulling out of her, I rapidly removed the vibrator from her ass, rolled her onto her back, and took off the one around her clit before tearing off her blindfold. Her eyes were closed, and she didn’t move.

I raised a shaky hand to her throat to feel for her pulse. I sagged in relief when I found a strong one. Christ, what had I done? I’d never gone that far with a woman. It was like the more I made her beg and come, the crazier it made me. I had no idea how I held out as long as I had without sinking my dripping cock into her. And when I was inside, she drove me to a frenzy.

“Zisa, baby, wake up,” I croaked. She didn’t move.

Rising with her in my arms, I walked on shaky legs to the bathroom. Sitting on the side of her tub, I turned on the water. Regardless, she would undoubtedly be sore and in need of a soak. My stomach churned as I waited for her to regain consciousness. As it filled, I wished it was big enough for the two of us. I needed to hold her, even though it was likely when she came to, she’d tell me to get my hands off her. Hell, she might call the cops. Just my damn luck, it would be that bastard, Marius, the main cause of my stupid idea to punish her for doubting me.

A low moan snapped my gaze back to her. Her eyelids were fluttering. I rubbed my thumb along her cheekbone. “Zisa, Bae, I’m so goddamn sorry,” I whispered just as her eyes opened. She stared up at me in confusion.

She glanced around us and then tried to sit up. I held her to me. If this was my last time holding her, I wanted to make it last.

“W-what happened?” she asked, barely above a whisper. I heard her try to clear her throat.

“You passed out.”

“And why are you saying you’re sorry? What did I miss?”

“You passed the fuck out because of my dumb ass. I didn’t mean to lose control like that. Why didn’t you tell me to stop?” I moaned.

“You said not to unless I really wanted you to. I’ve got to admit, passing out has never happened before.”

“And it won’t again, I swear to God. Please, don’t say we’re over,” I begged.

“Arman, what has gotten into you? Why would I say we’re through? That was hands down the scariest yet hottest sex of my life. I didn’t know if I would survive it, but Lord, you made me see stars and heaven. If you take that away from me, I’ll cut your ass,” she threatened.

My astonishment changed to relief and then to laughter within seconds as it registered she wasn’t mad at me. Reaching out to shut off the water, I shifted and slid her into it. She moaned in bliss.

“Do you have any bath or Epsom salts? It’ll help,” I told her.

“In the cabinet on the top shelf in a plastic canister,” she said, pointing to the cabinet on the opposite wall. I hurried to get it. Bringing it to her, I allowed her to shake out however much she wanted. As it hit the water, I smelled the honey smell I associated with her skin. I returned it when she was done, then came back to sit on the edge of the tub.

“I shouldn’t have pushed all that on you at once. And I should’ve talked to you about why you accused me of cheating longer before we had sex. I didn’t feel overly angry, but I’ve never lost control like that either.”

She reached over and took my hand. She brought it to her mouth and placed tender kisses across my knuckles. “Arman, you had a right to be angry with me. I screwed up. As for you losing control, ultimately, I loved it. Will I be sore? Yeah, but it’s nothing to worry about, and it will keep me remembering what you did. It was hot.”

“For fuck’s sake, you’re killing me. I need you to make me a promise.”

“Anything.”

“If it gets too intense, scary, or you fear I’ll harm you, you tell me. The last thing I want to do is ruin this.”

“Come here,” she said, gesturing to me. I leaned closer, which allowed her to kiss me. It was tender yet full of passion. When she let go, I was smiling.

“I promise,” she said.

I sat there, not caring that my ass was cold from sitting on her metal tub, and held her hand until she was ready to get out and go to bed. I insisted on drying her off and carrying her to bed, where we cuddled together until we drifted to sleep.

???

After fixing breakfast for us the next morning, I kissed her goodbye and told her I’d be back later. I needed to meet with Carnage, and she had work to do. He and I arranged to meet at his hotel room before I got back to her place last night. Unlike me, he wasn’t able to stay every night with Shantel. With the girls in the house, it was a different story. Shantel wasn’t willing to let a man stay openly. Her granddaughters didn’t know they were sleeping together.

It had been eye-opening yesterday in Topeka with Rocky and his guys. It was the first time I’d seen Carnage around women since he met Shantel. As a biker, he got lots of offers for sex in general, regardless of whether he was at our chapter or not. Add the fact he was good-looking and president, and it increased his offers.

Half the Topeka crew were single. It had been a while since we’d seen them, so we had a great time catching up and hanging out with them. Carnage had contacted Rocky Sunday night and arranged our visit. We were treated to a typical biker’s welcome, which included alcohol and women. He hadn’t warned Rocky ahead of our visit that we were both technically seeing someone.

We hadn’t been there long when the scantily dressed women drifted into the clubhouse. I wasn’t sure who was a bunny and who was a hanger, but it didn’t matter. They eagerly came over and began to vie for our attention. I sent off the first one after she draped herself over me. It wasn’t until after I’d said no to the third one and Carnage had turned away several that Rocky said something.

“Since when do you two say no to the ladies? If they aren’t your speed, we can call some others to stop by,” he said as he came over, handed us each a beer, then dropped into a chair.

“Thanks, brother, but we’re good,” Carnage told him.

“Are your dicks broke?” he asked. More of his men drifted over to join us.

We snorted. “No, my cock ain’t broke. I happen to have a woman,” I told him.

“You’ve got an old lady! Damn, I didn’t know. You should’ve brought her so we could meet her.”

“She had to work. Plus, there’s no way I’d bring her around you dogs without a property cut.”

“Why’re you letting her run loose without one?” his VP asked.

“I just got her to agree to give it a whirl with me. That’s why we’re in Kansas. She lives in Salina.”

“There’s a story here. I can feel it. I wanna hear it, but first, I want to know why Carnage is passing on the women. I know he doesn’t have an old lady,” Rocky said with a grin and a wink.

“If you bet on that, you’d lose, fucker. I’m working on claiming one, too. In fact, she happens to be his woman’s mama. I’m not dipping my cock in someone else and losing her.” Carnage told him.

The looks of astonishment that earned him made me chuckle. It was utterly quiet for a solid minute or more before Rocky shouted, “Well, spill fuckers. Tell us what the hell happened. Did the world end and no one told us? I swear, that was the only way I ever thought you’d settle,” he told my president.

We took them through how we met Zisa and Shantel. They asked to see pictures. When they saw what we had waiting for us, they whistled and had no trouble understanding why we weren’t willing to lose them. Of course, I had no idea I almost would simply due to perfume.

Even the next day, I was still tense. It was more due to how I’d been with Zisa afterward than our fight. As upset as it made me when she explained about Marius, I understood how she might jump to that conclusion. I arrived at the hotel a few minutes early. I still had the keycard to the room, so I barely took time to knock before I unlocked it and walked in. Carnage was lounging on the bed, watching the television. He gave me a chin lift. I saw he was watching a motorcycle building show, so I sat down and stayed quiet until it finished. As soon as it was done, he turned off the television.

He got up and went to the mini-fridge. “I’ve got water, Mountain Dew, or Pepsi. What’s your poison?”

“A Dew.”

When he came to sit at the small table where I was, he had two Dews. I took mine and cracked it open to take a big swig.

“You set to make the call?” I asked him.

“Yep. You?”

“I am. I’ll take as long as I can get to stay up here. However, when I’m needed back home, I only ask for a couple of days lead time so I can work out how Zisa and I can spend time together.”

“I don’t have a problem with it, but let’s talk to the club. In case something comes up we don’t know about, Fender and Pipes haven’t called in a panic, have they?” he asked.

I shook my head. We had a company that did a variety of machining jobs for eighteen-wheeler trucks and the oil and gas industry. I managed it for the club while Fender and Pipes worked in it along with several non-club personnel.

“Well, we’re not getting shit done sitting here. Let me call,” he said as he opened up his laptop.

He tapped away for a minute, and I listened to it ring. We were doing a video conference. We usually held church on Thursday nights at eight o’clock. With it being a day early and in the morning, everyone had been asked to join us this way. One by one, the faces of our brothers popped up on the screen. A quick scan showed everyone was here. The only ones not there were our two prospects, which was normal. They didn’t join us for church. Greetings were called out to us, and we acknowledged them. When the chatter started to die down, Carnage took control.

“Alright, enough chatter, we’ve got work to do. Just because I’m away, you can’t screw off all day, every day,” he joked.

Rowdy snorted. “They better not try it, or I’ll plant my boot up their asses.”

“I never doubted ya, VP, but I had to see if you were awake. How’s it going? Anything new, exciting, or worrisome we should know about?”

There were a couple of new things we were looped in on, but they denied there was anything worrisome or overly exciting. When they were done, Knox, our secretary, asked the anticipated question.

“Are you guys coming back before the weekend?”

“We weren’t planning on it unless you need us. Is it getting to be too much to hold the fort without us?” I asked.

“Everything is fine on our end,” Fender hastily told me while Pipes nodded in agreement.

“I’ve got shit under control,” Rowdy added for Carnage’s benefit.

“Good. That’s just what we hoped to hear. Moose and I want to stay a while longer,” Carnage told them.

“Is there a problem? Do you need us to come up and help?” Stinger asked.

“Not a problem. I want to stay and spend time with Zisa.”

“Sounds like things are going good then for you, brother. Glad to hear it. Pres, one of us can come up and relieve you so you can get back,” Crash offered.

“Afraid I can’t do that. I have my own work here,” Carnage said cagily. It was all I could do not to laugh and give his surprise away. I couldn’t wait to hear what they had to say when they found out he was staying for a woman.

Frowns popped up all over their faces. “What the hell is going on, Pres? What aren’t you telling us?” Crash asked.

“Can’t a guy take time off and spend it with the woman he’s planning to claim? Christ, you don’t have to be attached to my tit, do ya?” Pres asked with a smirk.

Deafening chatter exploded over the screen. Astonishment, disbelief, and denial were evident in the sea of faces. I was snickering as Carnage sat back with his arms crossed. He let them talk over each other until he’d had enough. When that occurred, he let out a loud whistle, which made my ears hurt. It got them to shut up.

“Damn near made my ears bleed. One at a time. VP, gonna start with you,” he said.

“Did we hear you right? There’s some woman up there you’re thinking of claiming, as in an old lady?”

“That’s generally what claiming means.”

“Well fuck me, who is she?” Rowdy asked.

“How did you meet?” Crash asked.

“Shouldn’t you take your time before you talk about having an old lady?” Stinger added. No surprise they were the ones to tack on their questions. They, along with Rowdy, were the three men who were next in line after the president.

“I’ll answer those in reverse. First, I think I’ve had more than enough time to decide whether I should have an old lady. I’m not getting any younger. Plus, I need help keeping all of your asses in line, and she’s more than capable of that. It was thanks to Moose that we met. I need time to convince her that she’s the one for me and to get her to move her ass to Norfolk.” He paused after that.

“What’s her name? How does Moose know her?” X-Ray, our club doctor, or as close as we got to one, asked. He’d been in the military and learned a ton, then kept learning on his own.

“Her name is Shantel, and Moose is claiming her daughter,” Carnage finally confessed.

This had them clamoring more. I was enjoying the hell out of it. They hadn’t been in the meeting when Shantel’s picture was shared. When Comet asked if she was anything like Zisa in looks, Maestro put up the picture of her with my woman and the girls. There were whistles of appreciation. However, no one said anything too dirty that would piss off our pres.

“What’s the deal with the two little girls?” Rowdy asked.

“The deal is that Shantel is their grandmother, and she adopted them. They’re hers. The other daughter is a drug addict who can’t take care of them. Zisa helps her mom by watching them and providing some financial assistance despite her mama telling her not to spend her money. The damn woman works two freaking jobs. Anyway, we’re still ironing things out, just like Moose is with his. Until we get this figured out, we want to stay,” Carnage told them.

“Carnage, you’re the president. You can decide to stay for as long as you want. And as long as Moose isn’t needed, he can too. That’s your call as well. Gotta say you’re knocking us for a loop, but we’re happy for you both. Have you contacted Rocky and the crew? At least if you need them for any reason, they’re close and can help until we get there,” Stinger stated.

From there, it was back-and-forth talk and shooting the breeze until Carnage called an end to it. They promised to let us know if anything came up requiring our attention or our return, and we promised to let them know if we needed their help with anything. I think they were still reeling when we ended the video call. Carnage closed the lid of his laptop.

“Well, that went about how I expected it to go. What do you say to taking a ride? Shantel is working, and I bet Zisa is too. Is there a specific time you told her to expect you?” he asked. For him, the discussion was over, and it was time to move on.

“Nope, only that I’d give her ample time to work. A ride sounds good to me. Wanna hit the dealership and see if they have those jackets and boots there?” I asked.

He grinned. “I think we should. Let’s get out of here.”

In no time, we were riding all over Salina. We rode for an hour before riding over to the dealership. Inside, we went to the women’s clothing section. It didn’t take long to find the boots and jackets both women had tried on at the other one. We knew from their comments and because we paid attention to them which ones they liked best and the sizes. They didn’t let us buy them on Sunday. This time, they weren’t here to say no. And if I knew my pres, he wouldn’t give her a way to return hers, just as I wouldn’t Zisa. After grabbing the ones in the correct size for Zisa, I began looking through the shirts. Carnage joined me.

I wanted to groan when a sales clerk came sashaying up to us not long afterward. She was young and dressed head to toe in biker clothes, with her ample tits almost falling out of her shirt. She was a biker bunny, without a doubt, based on how she was eating us up with her gaze.

“Can I help you guys find something?” she asked.

“Nope, we found what we were looking for,” I told her.

“Are you sure? I’m great at picking out gifts for sisters and daughters,” she said. Her voice oozed sex.

“These aren’t for our sisters or daughters. We’re getting them for our old ladies. And if you know anything about motorcycle clubs, that means we’re not interested in anything else,” Carnage told her gruffly. Her smile fell.

“Oh, well, okay, if you change your mind, I’ll be at the register,” she said before walking off.

“Christ, let’s get this stuff and go before she tries again,” I muttered. Carnage snickered but didn’t disagree. We found a couple more things for our women.

Ms. Sexpot was the one to check us out. She was the only one who apparently worked the registers. Men were standing around over by the bikes, talking. Paying for our purchases and thanking her, we grabbed our bags and walked out. Thankfully, she’d behaved. Packing them away in our saddlebags, we decided to take a different route back to the hotel.

I was enjoying the sun and looking forward to presenting my gifts to Zisa when we heard the sound of a siren behind us. Glancing in my mirror, I saw the lights on a police car flashing. Goddamn it! I checked my speed. I wasn’t speeding, so I had no clue why we were being pulled over, but the sooner we got this over with, the better. Easing to the berm until we could safely stop, we shut down our bikes. I removed my helmet and waited. When the cop got out of his car, I recognized him.

“Motherfucker,” I muttered.

“Seems like Marius wants to talk to us. How much you wanna bet we weren’t doing anything wrong?” Carnage said.

“I can almost guarantee you we weren’t. He’s about to warn me away from Zisa. Watch and see. This is a bullshit pullover.”

“He seemed awfully watchful at the restaurant that day. Did you ever find out how they know him?” he asked.

“Yeah, I did last night. It seems he used to date Zisa. That is until he cheated on her, lied about it, and then tried to say it was a mistake and wouldn’t ever happen again. She kicked his ass to the curb. He’s tried since to get her back several times. It was his stupidity that got my ass into hot water last night.”

“What happened?”

“I’ll tell you later after we deal with this asswipe.”

“Well, look who we have here. I need your driver’s license and registration. Take them out slowly,” Marius said when he reached us.

He was watching us closely and had his hand on the butt of his sidearm. I wasn’t stupid. Slowly, we both reached into our back pockets to get our wallets. Taking out the things he wanted, we held them up. He snatched them out of our hands and studied them closely.

I knew what he was doing. He wanted to know our names and addresses. If he thought knowing that would allow him in some way to intimidate us, he was in for a sad awakening. There was nothing he could do to harm me or make me leave Zisa. However, there was plenty I could do to him. And after finding out he still wanted her and had hurt her the way he did, I was eager to show him what I could do.

“Mind telling us what you pulled us over for?” I asked.

“Shut up,” he said.

I exchanged an amused look with Carnage. He rolled his eyes. Marius apparently caught it and didn’t appreciate it because he started giving us more orders.

“I need you both to get off your bikes and walk backward toward me, then get on your knees with your hands behind your back.”

“What the hell for? We didn’t do anything. You have to at least tell us what we did to be pulled over. Why do you want us off the bikes and handcuffed?” Carnage asked.

“You ran a light back there. As for why I want you off your bikes and handcuffed, it’s so I can do a search.”

“We know our rights. Your excuse we ran a light is a lie. We didn’t. But let’s say, for argument’s sake, we did. That still doesn’t give you probable cause to search us or our bikes. We know our rights,” I informed him.

He sneered. “I bet you do. No doubt you’ve been arrested and in prison several times. Are you carrying?”

We didn’t bother to remark on his arrest and prison comment. Let him think whatever he wanted. He’d get a surprise when he ran our names.

“We are, but we have permits for them,” Carnage told him.

Marius tensed. “I need your hands higher and walk yourself back to me, now!”

Not wanting to get shot by what might be a trigger-happy cop with an axe to grind with me, we complied. When we got to him, he ordered us to get on our knees and put our hands behind our backs. We did as he demanded. When I got out of this, that bastard was on my shit list.

He cuffed us and then thoroughly patted us down. He found our guns, which he took. I had to say something. “Might as well check our wallets for our permits.”

“Don’t tell me how to do my job. Undoubtedly, they’re fake. I can’t wait to run you and find out you’re on parole. These guns will get you back behind bars for a long time,” he said gleefully.

“If you think putting me away will get Zisa back, you’re delusional. She’ll never take your cheating ass back. You’re a fucking idiot for cheating on a woman like her. But I thank you because it let me have her,” I taunted.

I heard his growl right before I was kicked in the back, pitching me forward onto my front. My left cheek almost scraped the ground before I craned my neck back. Carnage was watching him through narrowed eyes. This move by Marius told me the bodycam was off, and he hadn’t called into the station that he was pulling someone over. I bet he told them he was taking a break. Carnage mouthed. Stay calm. Wait. What did he mean?

Marius chuckled as he went to our bikes. He searched the frame, running his hands all over it. When he came up with nothing, he opened the saddlebags. He yanked out the purchases we’d made. The items in the bags he tore out.

“You’d better not get those dirty or damage them,” Carnage warned him.

Marius smiled at us as he dropped them on the ground. The way this was going, I wouldn’t put it past him to plant something, like drugs, on us. I was beginning to feel sick. Suddenly, a siren grabbed our attention. I turned my head, trying to see who it was. Just what we needed, another vindictive asshole. Another car came to a standstill in front of our bikes. It was unmarked, not a regular patrol car like Marius’s. An imposing man got out. Marius came to attention. Hmm, who was this?

“Officer Cooper, would you like to explain why you’re doing a traffic stop without calling it in to dispatch and with no body or dashcam on?” the stranger barked.

“I-well, you see, I stopped for a break and let dispatch know. I pulled over to stretch my legs. I got out and caught these two riding erratically, so I waved them over. In the excitement, I forgot my cameras were off, and I hadn’t called it in, Detective Silva.”

“And why are they cuffed and one on his face? By the looks of it, you’re searching their bikes and making a mess.” The detective didn’t appear amused or to be buying it. Had our luck changed?

“Well, I had to secure them to do the search. They both were carrying guns. The way they were riding makes me think they’re under the influence of drugs, so I’m searching for them,” Marius said more confidently. The asshole knew how to lie.

“Hmm, well, before you continue, why don’t we call dispatch and have them run their names and see if we should be concerned? Until then, help that man up. They can both stand.”

Reluctantly, Marius came over and got Carnage up, then me. His grip was tight. I knew it grated on him to be nice. While he went to run our names at his car, Detective Silva studied us.

“Gentlemen, I’m sorry for the inconvenience. I assure you, we’ll have you on your way soon if your license and such check out.”

“They’ll check out even though he hopes they won’t. There was no reason to pull us over. He lied. He told us he did it because we ran a light. He’s pissed, and this is him trying to be vindictive and get me out of the picture,” I told him, not that I thought he’d care.

“And why would he want to do that?” Silva asked.

“Because he’s with Cooper’s ex. The woman he lost and has been trying to get back for ages. We ran into him last weekend. He wasn’t happy to see her with him,” Carnage added.

“Who is the woman?” Silva asked. Our entire conversation was happening in low voices, so Marius couldn’t hear from his car. I saw him staring over at us with a big frown.

“Zisa Adams,” I answered.

“Ah, Zisa, yes, he did take that hard, I heard. It’s been a while.”

I was about to ask Silva how he knew Zisa when Marius came stomping over to us. He addressed himself to Silva.

“They have no outstanding warrants, and their gun permits check out. I bet it’s because they’re fakes. I’m taking them in until we can be sure. I’ll just finish my search and then bring them to the station. Thank you for stopping, but I don’t want to keep you.”

“Cooper, you’ll do no such thing. What you will do is release them, give back their IDs and property, and help pick up the mess you made. If you’re lucky, they won’t file harassment claims,” Silva told him sternly.

“But, Detective, they were riding dangerously. I—” He was cut off.

“Unless you have video proof, then you have no proof, which you don’t.”

Marius wore a thunderous expression as he stomped over and uncuffed us. Silva stood there and watched him return our IDs, registration, and guns. Then he went to our bikes, picked up the clothing, and put them back in the bags. As he did, Carnage had to say something.

“You’d better hope those aren’t damaged or stained, or their replacements are coming out of your pocket. There was no reason to throw them on the ground other than being a dick.”

Marius just glared at him.

When he was finished, Silva addressed him again. “Now, apologize, and then get out of here. I’ll be speaking to your sergeant when I get back to the office.”

The threat was clear. I smirked as Marius choked out an insincere apology. “I’m sorry that I caused you any delay or hurt feelings. I was mistaken.”

“Go,” Silva ordered.

We watched as Marius got in his car and drove off without another glance in our direction. His jaw was clenched.

“I guess we’re lucky you came along when you did, Detective. Thank you,” I said.

“No need to thank me. Seems we got an anonymous call stating an officer had two bikers detained without cause and without it being called into dispatch. There was audio and then video to support it, just not from the officer’s cameras. I happened to be the closest, so I said I’d check it out. You wouldn’t know anything about that, would you?”

I shook my head. Carnage did the same, but he added, “It must’ve been a concerned citizen. We’ll be in town for the foreseeable future, Detective. We hope that we won’t have to watch our backs every second we are because you have an officer abusing his power for personal reasons.”

“Here’s my card. If you have any more trouble with him or anyone else on the force, let me know. I don’t believe in abusing our power. And Cooper’s continued desire to get back with Zisa has to stop.” We both took one of the cards he held out.

“How do you know Zisa?” I asked.

“I know her through her mom, Shantel,” he said with a smile.

This got my president’s attention. He gave Silva an intense stare. “Shantel Adams is my woman. I hope that doesn’t mean I’ll be having trouble with anyone.”

Sliva laughed. “You have nothing to fear on that front. I think Shantel is great, but I’m not an ex or anything. I know her because she takes care of my mother sometimes. She’s her nurses’ aide from the home health agency. That woman is a wonder. You’re lucky to have her.”

“I am,” Carnage said.

After a final farewell, Silva left. As we got on our bikes, I looked at Carnage. “That shithead, Marius, isn’t about to stop.”

“No, he isn’t. So we may have to make him.”

“Do you know how the cops were notified?”

He grinned. “I’ll tell you back at the hotel. Let’s get off the streets.”

Holding in my curiosity, we got on our bikes and were off. I wondered what Marius’s next move would be. Whatever it was, I was alert to it. Nothing he could do would get me to leave Zisa. I hoped he could live with disappointment.
