Chapter Thirty-Two

Tanner sank into the couch as he tried to make sense of what he was hearing. The text from Pax should have been a clue something was up, but in all honesty, this was the last thing he’d been expecting, especially after their talk a week ago. He’d truly had thought they’d cleared things up.

“Wow,” he breathed, looking over at his buddy. Vinyl seemed to be just as shellshocked as he was.

“I didn’t see any other way.” Elena shrugged helplessly. “The Medinas are family. I can’t leave them—”

“But you can leave us?” Pax interrupted with a raised brow. “Are we nothing to you?”

“No!” she denied vehemently. “That’s not what I said.”

“It sure as fuck sounded that way to me,” Vinyl argued, just as visibly upset as Pax.

“One call,” Tanner told her, unable to hold in the frustration crowding his chest. This could have been nipped in the bud long ago. “One call, hell just a fucking text, and we could have stepped in when all this first started.”

“But how?” Elena shook her head, sending a tear down her cheek. “Part of the reason I didn’t say anything was because they can’t be touched. Believe me, I checked. They’re disgusting human beings, but they aren’t breaking any laws.”

“We have our ways,” Pax promised. He moved forward and cupped her cheeks, wiping away her tears with his thumbs. “The question is, why didn’t you come to us?”

“I’m not used to this,” she admitted softly.

“This?” Tanner prodded. They needed to get to the bottom of things if they were going to have any type of future together. She needed to trust them. Full stop.

“All of it. The only people that have ever had my back are the Medinas.” Elena looked at each of them and let out a deep breath. “They’re all I have.”

“That’s where you’re wrong, ‘Lena.” Tanner stood up, unable to stay away any longer. He tugged her away from Pax and hugged her tight. She was practically shaking in his arms. “So many people love you. Ester and Eloise just for starters. They think of you as the granddaughter they never had.”

“You have the three of us,” Vinyl added with a firm nod. “Heart and soul, sugar.”

“Along with the rest of the Iron Seeds.” Pax grinned. “Sometimes I think my mom likes you more than me.”

“She does,” Tanner affirmed, unable to hold back a smile when their girl smacked at his chest.

“She does not,” Elena denied with a watery giggle. “And I know I’m being stupid. It’s just that I’m…I’m scared.”

“We know.” Tanner dropped a light kiss on her lips before passing her along to Vinyl where he’d patiently waited his turn.

“C’mere, honey.” Vinyl wrapped his arms around her, one of his hands automatically dropping to cup her ass. “What do we need to do to prove to you that this is real?”

“You don’t have to prove anything,” Elena told them with a shake of her head. She turned in Vinyl’s arms until she could see all three of them. “I’m sorry it took me so long to get my head out of my ass.” She sniffed. “Emotions are scary.”

“They are,” Pax agreed, giving her a look. “I went through about a million of them when I heard you debate leaving us.”

“I panicked,” she explained with a wince, stepping away from Vinyl to give him a hug. “If it makes you feel any better, just saying it out loud made me sick to my stomach. Forgive me?”

“Of course,” he told her without hesitation. His hands sliding down to her hips and squeezed. The smile on his face was wicked. “You know what that means?”

“What?”

“Now that we’ve got our first fight out of the way, it’s time for the make-up sex.”

“I second that,” Vinyl rumbled, holding up a hand to vote.

“Sounds good to me,” Tanner agreed, herding them all into the big master bedroom. He’d changed the sheets and added a few essentials to the room since the last time they’d been in here. Including a length of rope that he knew Pax would appreciate later.

“You’ve been busy, brother.” Vinyl nodded his thanks, apparently noticing the new toys he’d purchased and the lube that had been restocked.

“What’s all that?” Elena asked with a squeak, her eyes catching sight of the pile of packages on the nightstand.

“Tanner has been busy,” Pax said approvingly as he undressed their woman.

“You’re in for a treat,” Tanner promised, watching his friend strip Elena of every stitch of clothing she’d been wearing. The three of them didn’t need any of the extra gadgets he’d picked up. They knew how to give her more pleasure than she’d ever had before with their cocks, hands and mouths…but sometimes it was fun to play around.

“Why am I the only one naked?” Elena asked as she crawled into the center of the bed and lay down. “That’s not fair.”

“Well,” Vinyl chuckled, reaching for the bottom of his shirt. “Can’t have that now, can we?”

“Nope.” Tanner followed along, shucking his clothes quickly.

“Pax?”

Tanner looked over at his buddy, noticing for the first time his friend wasn’t making a move to undress.

“I want to watch first.” With a shake of his head, Pax settled into the chair in the corner.

Tanner and Vinyl shared a look before descending on the bed, sandwiching Elena’s softness between their chiseled bodies.

“You feel so good,” Vinyl groaned, dropping kissing along the shoulder closest to him.

Tanner plucked at her nipple, teasing her breast with tiny pinches as she arched and groaned.

“That’s nice,” she hummed, her hand going to the back of Vinyl’s head to hold him at her breast. “I love that.”
