Elsie
Steam rises from the bath, scenting the air herbs Silas gathered himself, dried in bunches hanging from the kitchen rafters.
I sit on the closed toilet lid, watching him test the water temperature with his wrist. The care in his movements makes my heart flutter despite the tenderness between my thighs.
Last night changed everything. The memory of our bodies coming together, of feeling completely enveloped in his strength and care, has left me floating in a strange, wonderful haze all day.
But it's also left me sore in ways I hadn't anticipated, a physical reminder of our size difference and my relative inexperience.
Silas noticed my wincing as I moved about this morning, his observant eyes missing nothing. Without embarrassment or judgment, he'd simply announced that he would take care of it
"The bath is ready, little one," he says now, turning to me with gentle eyes. "It will help with the soreness."
I stand somewhat awkwardly, the discomfort making me more aware of my body than usual. When I reach for the hem of my sweater, Silas steps forward.
"Let me," he says softly.
There's nothing sexual in the way he undresses me now, though his eyes hold appreciation. This is pure caretaking—his large hands moving with surprising delicacy, folding each item as he removes it. When I stand naked before him, I feel no shame, only a profound sense of being cherished.
"In you go," he instructs, supporting my elbow as I step into the steaming water.
The heat engulfs me, drawing a sigh from my lips as I sink down. The immediate relief makes me realize how tense I've been holding myself.
"Good girl," Silas murmurs, kneeling beside the tub despite his height making the position awkward. He rolls up his sleeves, revealing strong forearms dusted with dark hair. "Lean back and relax."
I obey, letting my head rest against the bath pillow he's positioned perfectly against the tub. Silas dips a washcloth into the water, wrings it out, and begins to gently wash my shoulders, arms, and collarbone. His touch is reverent, focused entirely on my comfort rather than his desire.
"How does it feel?" he asks, his deep voice soft in the small bathroom.
"Wonderful," I breathe, closing my eyes. "I've never had anyone take care of me like this."
His hand pauses momentarily. "No one has ever bathed you?"
I open my eyes to find him watching me with a mixture of tenderness and something like protective anger on behalf of the girl I was. "No. At least, not since I was a toddler. My parents were distant. Self-absorbed. After their divorce, it got worse. I learned early to take care of myself."
He nods, resuming gentle circles over my skin to lather up bubbles. "Well, those days are over now. You have me."
The simple declaration brings unexpected tears to my eyes. I blink them away, not wanting him to think I'm sad when I'm feeling quite the opposite.
"You're tender here," he says, his hand moving to my inner thigh, close to but not quite touching the most intimate part of me. "I should have been more careful last night."
A rush of boldness overtakes me, perhaps born from the vulnerable intimacy of the moment. "My cunt is sore," I say, deliberately using the crude word that feels thrillingly forbidden on my tongue. "But I wouldn't change a thing about last night."
Silas freezes, his eyes darkening. The shift in his expression is subtle but immediate—a tightening around the mouth. There’s a new intensity in his gaze.
"What did you just say?" he asks, his voice pitched lower.
The thrill of testing boundaries mingles with genuine confusion. "I said I wouldn't change anything about—"
"No," he interrupts, setting the washcloth aside. "The word you used. That's not how my little girl speaks."
Something flutters in my stomach. "I only said my cunt is sore," I repeat, watching his reaction with a mischievous curiosity.
Silas stands, towering over the bathtub, his expression stern but controlled. "Out of the bath, Elsie. Now."
I follow the command without argument. I rise slowly, water streaming from my skin, hyperaware of my nakedness in a way I wasn't moments before. Silas wraps a large towel around me, his movements efficient rather than tender now.
"What happens when little girls use language that's disrespectful?" he asks, his voice deceptively calm.
I swallow, heart racing. "I don't know," I admit truthfully.
"They face consequences," he says simply. "Dry off and come to the bedroom. Don't dawdle."
He leaves me standing there, wrapped in the towel, water pooling at my feet. A confusion of emotions floods through me. I've clearly crossed a line I didn't know existed, but rather than feeling frightened, I feel safe, even in this moment of discipline.
I dry quickly, my hands slightly unsteady. The mirror reflects flushed cheeks and bright eyes—I look transformed somehow, awakened.
In the bedroom, Silas sits on the edge of the bed, his posture straight, hands resting on his thighs. He's rolled down his sleeves, buttoned them at the wrists. The formality of the gesture speaks volumes.
"Come here," he says when he sees me hovering in the doorway.
I approach slowly with the towel clutched around me like armor.
"Do you understand why I'm upset?" he asks, his voice gentler than I expected.
I consider lying, saying yes to avoid what's coming, but the thought of dishonesty between us feels worse than any punishment. "Not entirely," I admit.
His expression softens slightly. "Words matter, Elsie. The way we speak reflects how we see ourselves and others. That word you used—it reduces something beautiful between us to something crude. It doesn't honor what we share."
I hadn't thought of it that way. The word had felt powerful in my mouth precisely because it was forbidden, not because I'd considered its meaning or implications.
"I'm sorry," I say, meaning it. "I didn't think about it like that."
"I know," he acknowledges. "Which is why this is a teaching moment." He pats his lap. "Drop the towel and lie across my knees."
My breath catches. This is unexpected territory—we've explored intimacy, but not discipline. Yet I find myself obeying, letting the towel fall, and positioning myself across his strong thighs, feeling incredibly vulnerable with my bare bottom exposed.
"Five spanks," he says calmly. "Count them, please."
His large hand rests warm against my skin, a gentle prelude that does nothing to prepare me for the sharp smack that follows. The sting is immediate, radiating outward.
"One," I gasp. He does not hesitate and doesn’t hold back.
The next comes before the first sting has faded, slightly harder. "Two!"
By the fifth, tears prick at my eyes. Something about this willing submission, this acceptance of his authority, resonates deeply with parts of me I'm only beginning to understand.
"Good girl," Silas says softly when we finish, his hand now soothing over the heated skin. "You took that very well."
He helps me stand, studying my face carefully. Whatever he sees there must reassure him because he pulls me into a gentle embrace, holding me against his chest.
"We're not quite finished," he says after a moment, releasing me. "There's one more part to your lesson."
He leads me to the bathroom, where he selects a fresh bar of soap—the gentle kind he makes himself from goat's milk and herbs. For a moment, I'm confused until he runs it briefly under water and brings it toward my mouth.
"Open," he instructs.
Understanding dawns. I part my lips hesitantly, and he rubs the soap briefly across my tongue—not roughly, just enough for the bitter taste to flood my mouth..
"Ten seconds," he says, watching me closely. "Count in your head."
I stand there, the bitter taste filling my mouth, holding his gaze. In this moment of discipline, I feel strangely secure—the boundaries he sets are not walls to constrain me but frameworks that create safety.
When the time is up, he hands me a glass of water. "Rinse."
I do, gratefully washing away the soapy taste. When I finish, Silas cups my face in his hands, his expression serious but loving.
"I will always care for you," he says quietly. "Your body, your heart, your growth. Sometimes, that means teaching, sometimes comforting, sometimes correcting. Do you understand?"
I nod, leaning into his touch. "Yes, Daddy."
Something shifts in his expression, softening. "Good girl." He presses a kiss to my forehead. Now, let's finish your bath properly. The water should still be warm."
