FOLLOWING WEEKEND

Camilla stepped out of the house in a silver jumpsuit that hugged her curves in the right places.

She wore a pair of expensive designer shoes on her feet, and white gold diamond tennis bracelets on both arms with a matching diamond necklace at her neck.

I knew because I had sent a stylist to dress her for our date tonight.

I knew that she was pissed at me for avoiding her for four days.

The vow that I made not to play games with her was broken for one purpose—to break her.

I needed to take our intimacy to the next level, but I needed her to need me so desperately to the point that she would be ready to say yes to any requests or demands that I placed on her.

She smiled as she approached the open door of my midnight-blue Bentley Flying Spur Mulliner. When Creed helped her inside the rear of the vehicle with me, I greeted her with a kiss on her cheek.

“You look lovely tonight.”

“Thank you. You didn’t have to send a stylist to me.”

“I wanted to do something special for you.”

“Was this your way of making up for how you treated me last week?” she asked.

“I told you—I was handling business. What would you like to drink?” I asked, turning her attention to the selection of chilled wine and champagne in the rear refrigeration console.

“I’ll take wine until I find out whether there’s a reason to celebrate tonight.”

“There’s always a reason to celebrate when you’re in the vicinity, beautiful.”

She crossed her arms and legs while I poured her wine. I chuckled. “You’re going to pout all night or enjoy me?” I asked, handing her the wine.

She accepted it and sipped before she replied. “I’m not sure what I’m going to do.”

“You could be riding this dick rather than wasting time with an attitude.”

“Is that all you want from me, Jabari?”

“What did I tell you? If it was all about sex, I could go to any club.”

“What do you want from me, Jabari?”

“I enjoy your companionship, Cami. Can’t that be enough for now?”

“I guess,” she mumbled and turned her attention out of the window.

“You could be over there getting your panties wet, but instead you’re gonna pout like a child and have an attitude for what?”

“Maybe I don’t want my panties to be wet tonight,” she replied.

“You remember that was your call, not mine.”

I glanced at my phone and saw a call coming in. I took the call and discussed an upcoming business negotiation, pushing Camilla to the back of my mind for a minute. When I finished with the call, she was pouting even more.

I leaned forward and gripped her chin. I tugged it just enough to open her mouth, and I sucked her lips.

When I pulled back, her eyes were moist, and she was breathless.

“Ease up, beautiful. Tonight is all about you, and I don’t want you carrying anything heavy.

I’m a businessman who takes nothing for granted.

I’ve been thinking about you the entire time I was away, but I wasn’t afforded the luxury to contact you.

I had to be focused at all times, and contacting you was a luxury I couldn’t afford.

I had to put my feelings on a shelf while I was away.

Contacting you would have pushed everything out of the window, because I would have been thinking about you every moment of the day—wanting to be with you, to taste you, to spoil you, and to fuck you,” I whispered as I nipped the shell of her ear.

She shivered. “Really?”

“I would never lie to you.”

We pulled up to the Imperial Hotel Atlanta, a hotel that I owned and had recently opened six months earlier. When Creed pulled into the private lower portal, a personal butler waited to escort us to the presidential suite.

“How did you get white-glove service at the Imperial?” Camilla asked, impressed, as we took the elevator up to the Presidential Suite. We hadn’t stopped at the front desk to check in or get keys.

“I own it,” I replied.

She turned her wide-eyed gaze to me, with her mouth opened. “What part of Atlanta do you not own?”

“Stick around, and you’ll find out,” I replied as we stepped into the suite.

Camilla took in the cream interior with one royal blue velvet wall and the cream velvet couches with royal blue pillows.

A large screen TV was mounted over the marble fireplace, and two floor-to-ceiling windows flanked either side of the fireplace.

They overlooked Buckhead and gave a beautiful view of downtown Atlanta and Midtown.

Camilla knelt and rubbed her hand on the plush carpet that had infinity designs handwoven into the fabric. She stood up and looked at the same designs on the wall.

“What does the infinity symbol represent for you?”

I hadn’t expected that question, and it reminded me that she was a reporter and always on the hunt for information. “Loyalty. I will always be loyal to what matters to me until the day I breathe my last.”

“Family? Money? Your business?”

“Whatever has meaning in my life. I’ve told you—I don’t have family.”

“What about your friends? They’re not family?”

“They’re friends.” I felt she was trying to catch me in a lie, but I wasn’t about to get caught slipping. I had been living the life I led for too long to slip up now. The life I created was crafted off the truth, so there was nothing I was worried about.

I turned around as the butler uncorked a bottle of Krug Clos d’Ambonnay champagne for us and poured us both a glass.

“Sir, your wardrobe for the evening has been steamed and is waiting for you in your room,” he stated, walking to the bedroom and throwing the double doors open for me.

“Thank you, Raymond.”

“You’re welcome, Mr. Blackwood.”

When he left, I walked inside the bedroom and discarded the suit that I was wearing and headed for the shower.

“Why are you changing?” she asked as I adjusted the water temperature.

“I was in a couple of meetings before I met up with you.”

“On a Saturday?”

“I told you that I’m a businessman, so yes, on a Saturday.”

She stepped closer and licked her lips. Camilla grabbed my dick in her tiny hand and stared up at me. “Let me handle that for you.”

I watched as she knelt at my feet and pulled my dick to her lips. My eyes drifted closed at the warmth of her mouth locked around my semi-turgid dick. She worked her head expertly back and forth with her jaws sunken in as she took my length further back.

Every concern about the meetings held earlier seeped from my brain.

Thoughts about her true purpose in my life and her being a magazine owner with a reporter background dissipated.

My fingers slipped into the topknot she had fastened, and the harder she sucked, the more my fingers found their way into her hair.

Camilla gave sloppy head just the way that I liked. Saliva dripped to the floor, making a tiny pool between my feet, and her hands worked in opposing circles along my length. Her mascara smeared, and she kept sucking me deeper.

“That’s it, baby. Fuck yeah,” I grumbled as my fingers messed her hair up.

My hips thrust forward as I took control from her and fucked her mouth. She moaned, and I tightened my fingers in her satiny hair and jerked her head back. I didn’t stop until I finished spilling my seed in her opened mouth. When I pulled back a little bit dribbled onto her chin.

She opened her mouth to show me that she had swallowed the rest. I stuck my thumb out, caught the remnant from her chin, and I sucked my thumb clean before I kissed her deeply.

“Go make yourself comfortable. I’ll be out shortly,” I instructed.

She nodded and headed back out of the bathroom. There was a tiny powder room out front that we had passed on the way to the bedroom that she could freshen up in.

The Bentley pulled up to the private entrance of Solomon Brothers on Peachtree Road, and an escort was waiting for our arrival.

“Good evening, Mr. Blackwood,” the older gentleman, accompanied by two guards, greeted us after we exited the car.

“Good evening. Thank you for arranging this visit for us.”

“You’re welcome, sir. Please follow me.”

We followed him into the private showroom of the jewelry store.

“The main showroom has been cleared,” the escort assured us as we stepped through the double oak paneled doors.

“Thank you.”

We followed him into the guarded vault lounge where we took a seat at a glass table underneath brilliant lighting.

“What are we doing here?” Camilla whispered once the escort stepped away.

“I’m bringing you here to ice you out.”

She giggled. “What?”

“Infinity. You asked me what that meant earlier. I told you that for me it meant that I was loyal to what mattered in my life. We haven’t known each other long, Camilla, but I am deeply attracted to you, and I care about you.

You’re who matters in my life, and I hope that doesn’t change anytime soon. ”

Her nostrils flared and her eyes watered. “Jabari, are you serious?”

“Yes. I care about you a lot,” I stated and gripped her chin. I kissed her lips, brushing mine softly against hers before I released them.

When I turned around, our dedicated gemologist took a seat at the table across from us and prepared to present several pieces of jewelry with black and canary diamonds and unique cuts.

We spent an hour checking out and selecting the pieces that would look good on her and that appealed to her.

When we left the jewelry store, I had spent an easy fifty-grand on her, but that was only because she insisted I stop.

I could tell that she was uncomfortable, but I didn’t mind.

I really did like Camilla, and I wanted her to stick around for a while.

I hadn’t visited the clubs since meeting her.

We returned to Premiere, the restaurant in The Imperial, for a tasting menu. The meal was customized to our taste and prepared by Chef Janine Sterling.

“Ohh, that’s how you know her,” Camilla remarked after Janine presented our meal to us.

“Yes, she works for me,” I remarked with a smile.

I was enjoying how relaxed Camilla was becoming in my presence. She seemed to let her guard down the more we spent time together, and I was considering sharing more of me with her.

“Do you have any more famous people working for you? This,” she stated, pointing her fork at the snowflake-like marbling of the Wagyu beef, forgetting the topic momentarily.

“Glad you’re enjoying it. As for famous people working for me—not to my knowledge. You shouldn’t be surprised, though. Don’t you run in those circles? I would have thought you’ve interviewed plenty of celebrities.”

She shook her head as she chewed her Japanese beef and moaned at the rich, buttery flavoring. “Not so much. My focus is businessmen and women like yourself. I don’t get too caught up in that world. Besides, the people I interview are famous locally and regionally only.”

“Famous is famous.”

She shrugged. “I guess.”

“Maybe you could shift your focus and interview celebrities, if that’s what you want. You could always expand your magazine. Maybe open a separate publication.”

She stopped chewing and stared at me.

“What?”

“Nothing,” she replied.

“No. Tell me.”

She shrugged. “I want to expand. I’m looking for opportunities to do that.”

“Good. Let me know how I can help. I believe in supporting dreams,” I explained.

She held an intense look in her eyes before she lowered her gaze to her meal and resumed eating. Eventually Camilla changed the topic.
