23 – JABARI

The last few days had been a whirlwind and designed to build a true connection with Camilla beyond the sexual chemistry.

We knew our sexual energy was off the charts, but I wanted to see if we had a connection other than that, and we did.

It had taken a lot for me to open up and trust her, but I had.

I was tired of living my life in the shadows and being closed off to intimacy and relationships.

We had spent the last few days having breakfast in our floating pool, sailing on a catamaran with a private chef and full staff, sailing to the remote, uninhabited islands near Ambergris Cay, and going on a guided snorkeling excursion to capture beautiful photos of vivacious coral structures and sea turtles for her magazine.

We had eaten exotic lunches at sandbars, hiked along the coastal cliff paths and flat nature trails, received daily massages, gone deep-sea fishing for wahoo and mahi-mahi on a private charter, and taken sunset cruises while drinking the finest champagne as we watched the sun set.

Our elegant dinners were often served to us with cocktails on the beautiful estate we were staying on or during our evening cruises.

This morning we had enjoyed breakfast at a restaurant that overlooked the turquoise bay and then headed to a bone fishing excursion.

Our afternoon was spent in Little Ambergris Cay to enjoy the gorgeous, uninhabited wetland.

On the nature reserve island, we swam in the crystal clear turquoise waters, took photos of stingrays, colorful reef fish, and other marine life, ate from a gourmet charcuterie and a raw bar spread, drank from the bar, and took naps on plush daybeds.

We were finishing our dinner on the beach just yards from our bungalow deck.

The personal chef I hired had prepared a dinner as we watched and conversed over the course of the evening.

He had cooked some of the wahoo and mahi-mahi we caught, prepared hand-rolled pasta, grilled vegetables, and a custom dessert of ganache petit fours and French macarons.

The saxophonist I hired played nearby while we looked out at the ocean as the waves crashed on the shore.

“This is the most romantic date I’ve ever had, Jabari.”

“I enjoy spoiling you, Cami.”

“Thank you. I’d become so used to being spoiled by my father that when we stepped out on our own after college, it was a difficult adjustment for my sister and me.”

“What was that like for you—growing up away from your parents?”

She shrugged. “In the beginning, it was lonely and a difficult adjustment, especially my first year away. I wanted my family, and I missed my sister badly. Before I was sent away to boarding school, our parents were often away traveling, and we spent more time with our grandparents and the nanny than we did with them. Being away from them wasn’t the most difficult part, but not being in my own home, in my bedroom, or a familiar environment was the difficult part, made worse by not having Courtney with me.

“I cried so much that first year that my grades suffered. In time, I adjusted, but it wasn’t until that second year when Courtney arrived.

We had each other, and it made it easier.

She struggled, too, but not as much as I had that first year.

It was easier for her because she had me, but she still had to get used to a new environment and make new friends.

That part wasn’t as hard for her as it was for me, because she’s a social butterfly naturally. ”

“Why did your parents send you away?”

“They were always traveling, and they wanted us to have a better education than the local private schools could afford us. They also felt that we were growing wild without constant supervision, and they didn’t believe our nanny or grandparents were giving us the structure that we needed.

They thought we would fare better at boarding school. ”

I fed her a French macaron, and she rested her head against my shoulder. We were sitting on a blanket on the beach, and I ran my finger down her arm. The wind whipped around us, blowing her hair in her face and mine. She pulled it back and tucked it behind her ears.

“Do you think you all did better at that school than if you’d stayed where you were?”

“We definitely got a better education and more discipline, but we were very angry and bitter about it—not toward life, but toward our parents. In the long run, I think we’ve done better, but it could have made it easier if they had worked with us more.”

“Yeah, I can never see sending my kids away to a school or anywhere else. I wouldn’t want anyone else to raise my kids.”

She looked up at me in surprise with a curious smile. “I’ve never heard you mention wanting kids before.”

“I’ve never had anyone I wanted to have them with before.”

“You never told me about what happened with the girl you were dating when you were in the streets.”

I chuckled and sighed. “She was enamored with the street life. She was what you’d call ghetto fabulous or hood-tastic, and as much as she loved me, she loved the attention that I brought to her by being in the streets more.

When I needed time to shut down and deal with my grief, she was constantly hounding me about making sure people didn’t forget my name or the power I held.

She wanted me to be out there still exerting authority and power before someone else came along and took it from me.

I broke it off with her. If she couldn’t respect that I wanted to do something else and that I needed to grieve, then she didn’t love me as much as I’d thought. ”

“Was it hard for you?”

“Not really. Leaving Shenobi behind made it easier for me to grind those next three years.”

“And you only had one other relationship?”

I nodded. “Jessica wanted what I wasn’t ready to give—commitment, marriage, and kids.

I was a focused, aggressive thirty-three-year-old who was building his empire when we met.

I was still angry and restless. I wanted to settle down with a woman, but I didn’t want a family structure, and I damn sure didn’t want kids. ”

“As a wealthy, forty-two-year-old established billionaire, you’re different?”

“I’m different,” I reassured her. “I’ve found the healing that I need, although that was questionable when you and my dad opened old wounds.

If that hadn’t happened, though, I’m not sure that I would have been certain of my healing.

Your actions and his tested me in ways that I hadn’t expected to be tested. ”

“Will you visit him?”

“I have visited him a couple of times. It’ll be a while before he makes a complete change, but he’s putting the work in. He’s remorseful.”

“Is he ready to leave?”

“No. He said that he was good with staying longer because he’s got some work to do.”

“I’m glad that he recognizes that. My family and I have a way to go, but my parents are definitely putting in the work to own where they dropped the ball with Court and me. We’ve agreed to have weekly dinners on Sundays at Court’s place.”

“How about your ex? Any regrets there?”

“None. We weren’t ready to be married. Nick and I were more in lust than anything else. We grew apart too quickly, and we married after only knowing each other three months.”

“You don’t think you can know if a person is right for you in three months?”

“Some people can, but I don’t think we gave each other that chance.

It was always about sex, and I was in love with the idea of being in love.

We grew bored of each other quickly and started spending more time with our friends than with each other.

We immersed ourselves in our careers, and we stopped making each other a priority.

We looked up one day, and I asked him what we were doing.

He said, ‘I don’t know,’ and at that point, I said we should get a divorce.

He looked so relieved and readily agreed, and that was that. ”

“Until he showed up, and you learned that you weren’t divorced.”

“Exactly.”

“Any regrets?”

“None.”

“Do you think you can know if someone is right for you after six months?” I asked.

“Only if they’re truly right for you. You’re right for me.” She cupped my face and brushed her lips sweetly against mine several times before sitting back.

We sat there enjoying the ocean breeze some more before I fed her ganache petit fours. She licked the chocolate from my fingers.

“Woman, don’t start something you’re not ready to finish.”

“Oh, I’m definitely ready to finish what I start, and I’m ready to finish you off.”

She climbed onto my lap and looped her arms around my neck.

I brushed my lips against hers even as I effortlessly untied her sundress behind her neck.

Her tongue was saturated with the sweetness of the wine she’d drunk and the bitterness of the chocolate from the dessert.

Camilla moaned in my mouth, and my dick hardened in my shorts.

My eyes were open and remained on the saxophonist. I ran one hand down Camilla’s back and waved goodbye to the saxophonist with the other.

He left a sweet harmony trailing on the breeze as he walked down the beach.

My hands moved in between Camilla and me, and I cupped her breasts.

She pulled back from the kiss and bit her bottom lip.

She glanced away from me down the beach and spotted the saxophonist walking away, still playing music.

She giggled. “Thank you for this sweet night, but I’m ready to turn up the heat. What do you want me to do, Mr. Blackwood?”

“Remove this wood from my pants and top me off, sweet girl.”

“With pleasure.”

Her breasts bounced as she climbed off my lap, and when she stood, she removed her dress from her body.

I reached down and gripped my growing arousal as I took in her beautiful stature before me.

She wore nothing but a white lace thong.

Camilla spun around, jiggled her ass, and then smacked it to tease me.

“Oh, trust me when I say that I will be all inside of that tonight.”

She peered over her shoulder and replied, “I was hoping you would say that.”

She turned back around to face me completely and moved between my legs.

Her warm hands pulled my dick free of my shorts, and with a precision so right, she wrapped those plump, oval-shaped lips around me.

The heat from her mouth welcomed my dick inside, and it felt so sexy, so welcoming, and so damn sensual.

My hips rose from the blanket to push deeper into her mouth. She licked the head before she slowly sank her lips further down my shaft. Camilla’s warm hands played with my balls as she bobbed her head up and down my length without the help of her hands.

As her breasts continued to bounce, I reached out and grabbed them with my hands.

She moaned around my dick, and arched her back, pushing her ass higher in the air.

She was the perfect sight, and I knew that no matter how much time passed, whenever I closed my eyes this vision of perfection would be what greeted me, and I didn’t mind.

I reached out and grabbed the back of her head and guided her down my length.

If she kept working her tongue around me the way that she was, I would explode sooner than I was ready to.

Camilla gave sloppy head, and it turned me on.

Her luminescent, upturned russet-brown eyes pinned me into place as slob coated her lips, chin, and me.

I couldn’t take it anymore. I gripped the back of her head with both hands and fucked her mouth hard and slow until my strokes caused my seed to propel forward into her mouth. She sucked and sucked until she drained me dry.

When she finished, I rolled her onto her back, spread her legs wide, and slid my fingers through her folds. I pulled a finger back, and she grabbed it before I could do anything. Heat flowed through me as I watched her suck her essence off my fingers.

“It’s a damn shame when you can make a man jealous of his own fingers.”

She laughed. “You can alleviate that, you know.”

“Oh yeah?”

“Mhm. I suggest you get busy eating.”

I knelt in front of her and lifted her legs over my shoulders. Camilla moaned her pleasure as I licked, sucked, and fingered her. My fingers plundered her asshole, while my tongue pillaged her pussy. The way that woman creamed for me had me hard all over again.

I couldn’t wait to carry her back to the bungalow and have my way with her.
