“Do they all live on-site?” Mort asked.
“It was the only way we could afford them,” Howard said. “And space is something we have plenty of.”
“They also work irregular hours,” Victoria said. “They’re doing what so many younger people do in LA, working a job while scheduling auditions and taking whatever acting jobs they can get.”
“They’re all aspiring actors?” Maureen asked.
“Candace and Ginette are,” Victoria said. “Candace also sings for a cover band, and I guess Ginette does some modeling. Marco has done some stunt work, but he really wants to be a screenwriter.”
“What we can’t afford to pay in dollars, we make up for in flexibility,” Howard said.
