Chapter 22
CORA
Yiri barely touched me for three days.
He wanted to. The tension between us was thicker than a loaf of bread.
He spent most of the trip with his big dick tenting his pants, and yet he did nothing about it.
My pussy had never been wetter. I was sleeping a lot, but woke several times from vivid sexual dreams of Yiri ravishing me, to find my leggings soaked so badly I had to be coming in my sleep.
With Yiri right beside me most of the time.
I was too embarrassed to ask if I was making any sounds in my sleep.
I just hoped he wasn’t paying too close attention to how many times I showered and changed.
When I was awake, Yiri fed me and told me more about his family in Eissoi.
I was sad to hear about his parents, who had died when he was young, but I wondered if he might understand the way I’d felt in the years since my parents joined their cult, effectively making me an orphan just like him.
We spent some time transferring the data from my devices onto the frame Yiri gave me.
It was small enough to fit in a pocket like a phone, but had a display that could expand to the size of a tablet, perfect for reading ebooks.
Yiri explained that it was connected to the nexus core shared between his cruiser and his house in Eissoi.
I hadn’t quite wrapped my head around that yet, because when I asked if it was like a cloud server, he said yes and no.
Apparently, holding data from all his other frames was only one function of the nexus core.
It was also a secure link to the nexus, which I understood to be like wifi but way stronger, and way more vast than anything we had on Earth.
I was excited to learn, though, that all of Earth’s internet was available for me to peruse at my leisure.
There were very few things I couldn’t access.
Streaming services, for example, required no password.
“So you’re saying we can Netflix and chill in outer space?” I laughed. “Unbelievable. I thought I’d never see Earth TV again.”
Yiri, seeming pleased that I was happy, showed me how to connect to the larger floating frame that was more TV-sized, and I put on the sexiest show I could find.
If I could get him a little riled up, maybe something would finally happen, and I could start exploring some physical intimacy with my new husband.
Nothing happened. He put his arm around me when I snuggled close to his side, but we were on the bed because I couldn’t get comfortable on his couch, and after about an hour, I fell asleep again.
I woke up with Mr. Darcy lying on top of me, hissing at Yiri.
“I’m sorry,” I said around a yawn. “He’ll be nicer when he gets to know you.”
“I just wanted to let you know we’ll be approaching Venastea soon in case you want to see it.”
“Yes!” I said, sitting up and moving Mr. Darcy to the bed.
“It’s quick after that,” Yiri said. “We’ll be landing in my family’s private dock, so there’s no red tape to deal with. I’ll take you to the house for a while, let you settle in today, and get to know the staff. And then we have a dinner reservation later.”
“Okay. Do I have time to shower and dress?”
He nodded. “You have about half an hour.”
I scrambled up and rushed to get ready. Half an hour. Men. Or… males, I guessed.
When I appeared on the steps in the pilot bubble up top, Yiri looked over. “You look pretty,” he said, beckoning me over. I took the last step and looked out at the small planet in the distance.
“It seems tiny,” I said.
“It’s bigger when you get closer,” he said dryly.
“Yeah, that’s what they all say.
Yiri snorted as his fingers moved over the controls in front of him. He pressed a few buttons and then leaned back. “I’m sorry, I don’t have another seat up here for you.”
Biting my lip, I sat down on his knee. “You do, though.”
He wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me up close. “It seems you’re right.” With a wicked glint in his eye, his gaze dipped down at my cleavage and then zeroed in on my mouth.
See? He wants me.
His chest rose and fell with heavy breath, and for a second, I thought he might do it. Come on. Kiss me.
Disappointment sank through me when he looked away to fiddle with some control that didn’t seem to do anything.
What was his issue? We were married. Why not seal the deal?
Why the hell was he getting shy on me now?
But you know what? I could kiss him. I didn’t have to keep waiting. I could just do it myself.
Yiri cleared his throat, glancing at his distant home world. “Should I take us in faster?”
“No,” I said, and grabbed his chin. Pulling his face around to mine, I meant to kiss him, but something feral came over me, and I sank my teeth into his bottom lip instead.
He groaned when I gave a little tug and ran my tongue along the inside edge.
I let him go and stared at him, waiting with my heart racing in my chest. Okay, maybe I did want him to kiss me first.
“Does my wife need something from me?” Yiri asked. “Do you want me to kiss this hungry mouth?”
“Yes,” I said, hoping I didn’t sound as desperate as I felt. Any concern about that dissolved as soon as he slanted his mouth over mine. He kissed exactly like I thought he would. Like he knew what he wanted, and he was willing to do bad things to get it. Like a bad man. My bad, man.
Yiri growled into the kiss, his hand cradling the back of my head and tilting my mouth just where he wanted it. My lips parted for his, and his tongue swept in, claiming new territory.
My hands went to his chest, currently bare because apparently he wanted to taunt me with his chiseled body one last time before we landed.
The skin-to-skin contact was delicious, and I suddenly wished I’d come up here in just a towel.
But I didn’t want to throw myself at him.
I wanted him to take me. It sounded primitive in my mind, but maybe that was the appeal.
Yiri’s appeal to me had always been his commanding personality, and that was what I wanted.
It was what I was finally getting from him.
His big, strong arm tightened around my back, pressing my side firmly against his front, and my hip into the steel pipe that was his dick.
One of my hands coasted down his bare chest to the waistband of his pants.
Dipping my fingertips under the edge, they brushed the head of his cock and his whole body jerked with a grunt.
“Fuck, Aneah,” he said, licking into my mouth, against my tongue. “I n—”
There was a long, loud tone from one of the control panels, and a voice shattered the moment.
“Ahlon Two, you missed approach protocols. Are you experiencing difficulty?”
Yiri broke away with a groan and put a hand over mine, pulling it away from his dick.
“No difficulty,” he said, pressing a button that opened a video call with a daernir male in a green uniform. “Just a passenger distraction. Want me to go back and approach again?”
The other daernir’s eyes widened as they fell on me. “Uh, no. No need, Ahlon Two. What was your most recent port?”
“Muria Transport Station,” Yiri answered.
“Business or pleasure?” the uniformed male asked in a practiced tone.
“The greatest pleasure,” Yiri said. “Picking up my mate and wife.”
Uniform’s mouth twitched with a small smile. “Congratulations to you both,” he said. “Ma’am, what is your species?”
“Um… human,” I said.
He nodded. “And before Muria, your last port was?”
“Earth.”
Another nod. “And you are entering Venastea of your own will?”
I blinked. “Yes, of course.”
“Thank you, ma’am,” he said. “Ahlon Two, any other imports to declare?”
“No,” Yiri said, patting my knee when I bristled at effectively being called an import.
“And what is your next intended port?”
“Ahlon Bay, Eissoi,” Yiri said.
“Alright, proceed, Ahlon Two,” the male said. “Welcome home.”
The call ended, and Yiri sighed. “I have to pay attention from here on,” he said. “Can we pick that back up later?”
“Yes, please,” I said, disappointed now, but hopeful for later.
I turned in his lap to face forward with him, as Venastea loomed ever larger in our view. If I was in the way, Yiri didn’t let on. He worked around me, seemingly with ease, tapping buttons, adjusting sliders, and reading various screens.
“This seems like a lot for one person to keep track of,” I said.
His arms were around me, reaching for the controls as he shrugged. “Once you get the hang of it, it isn’t complicated. I’ll teach you soon. You should know how to fly it just in case.”
That sounded like fun, but maybe a little overwhelming, too.
But the prospect of being in these close quarters with him long enough to learn it all had promise.
“Will I sit here in your lap while you teach me?” I asked, running my hand up his arm while he worked.
A faint shiver followed my fingers, and I instantly wanted to see it again.
“Yes, but you’ll have to be good,” Yiri said, his deep voice buzzing along the back of my neck.“Do you think you can do that for me?”
Now I was the one shivering. “Maybe if you wear a shirt, I could behave.” Biting my lip, I watched my fingers trace higher up, over the tattoos on his arms. Most of them were geometric designs or Eissoini writing, but there was one on his inner bicep that had caught my eye a time or two.
It was a human woman with retro hair and a curvy body.
It looked like the kind of tattoo a sailor might have had back in the day.
“Who’s this?” I asked.
Yiri glanced at where my fingers lay on his arm. “I don’t know,” he said. “Some Earth art I liked. Do you mind it?”
“I like it,” I said. “She’s pretty.”
His chest rumbled with a noncommittal sound, and his other arm wrapped around my middle. “I think I’ve got the prettiest girl from Earth right here on my lap.”
I leaned back against his chest, smiling. “Good answer.”
I was quiet after that, amazed at how quickly the planet grew from a dot in the distance to all I could see outside the bubble of the cruiser.
Entering the atmosphere was a tiny bit choppy, but no more so than landing in an airplane.
Once we were inside the cloud line, it was smooth sailing again.
Beneath us, Eissoi stretched out as far as I could see, in glittering lines of pink and turquoise.
As we got closer and the buildings began to take shape in shades of lavender and pale pink, I was in love.
“Yiri, it’s gorgeous!” I gushed, leaning forward. The sky overhead was brilliant blue, a single pearly moon sitting low on the horizon.
“You like it, Aneah?” he asked, sounding pleased.
“I love it,” I said. “I can’t wait to see it from the ground.”
His arm hugged me sweetly for a moment, and then he needed both hands again to bring us down into the bright blue waters of a busy bay, many other vessels coming and going all around us.
There was a sort of dock near the shore where Yiri steered the cruiser until it stopped in a large space with several signs proclaiming it Ahlon Vessels Only.
“How do we get out if we’re sitting in the water?” I asked.
Yiri tapped a few controls, and a robotic voice said, “Upper entry opening.” Outside the bubble, a section of the saucer wall slid open, revealing the kitchen. A wide metal gangplank extended automatically from the dock to the vessel.
“Like that,” Yiri said.
