Chapter 18
Liam's pov
It was Saturday morning and I was cooking pancakes in the kitchen for Destiny and me. She is still in her room.
After what happened in the elevator. I was disgusted by that man, I don't know why man behaves like that.
I never felt so much anger on anyone. When that man's hand was on my girl, I felt like cutting his hand off.
The look on Destiny's face with panic and fear, my heart was squeezing inside.
When I saw the tears in her eyes, I felt devastated inside. I will protect her at any cost.
And that man will pay for the consequences for sure.
And also I remember the talk with Luke that day in the meeting room.
'Flashback '
I don't know what to do. I don't feel like working anymore. I stood in front of the window and looked outside. The members are having their break now. And Destiny also went.
I heard someone clear their throat behind me. I turned towards them and saw Luke standing there.
"What do you want?" I asked him.
"I wanted to ask you something" he said.
"I don't want to answer you, you can go out. I want peace" I said looking blankly at him "And mainly, stay away from Destiny" I said coldly.
He started laughing at me. I glared at him. "Oh God, you thought I like her. Seriously" he was still laughing at me but he stopped suddenly and asked "Wait wait.. You were cold this whole time because I was talking to her" I looked blankly at him not giving any expression.
"Here I came to say to you that, you have to ask her out because of the expression you gave me before the meeting started. But here you already have feelings for her. Then what's stopping you" he asked.
"That's my business, I am trying to solve it now" I said.
"You better. I will be taking my leave now. I hope before I go I meet Destiny" he is surely enjoying this.
I glared at him. "Cool dude, I already have a fiance whom I love" he said and went out.
'I think I don't have any disturbance now'
My mood automatically calmed down.
An idea popped up in my head. I will wrap up this deal fast in two days and take her out on Saturday in London. I smiled at the thought.
'End of flashback'
Last night I asked Destiny to go out with me, but in a business way. I have planned it all.
I ate my breakfast and plated Destiny's breakfast on a plate and went to her room. I knocked at her door.
She opened it and looked at my chest. Oops I forgot to wear the shirt after the bath. I was wearing only sweatpants. But the good thing is that she is attracted to me. She was staring. I looked at her outfit, and shit. She was wearing her usual official dress.
'I have to do something'
I cleared my throat and smirked at her. She looked up at me and blushed.
I moved inside and placed the plate on her bed.
"What are you doing" I heard her from behind. I turned towards her.
"I made breakfast for you. And I don't like your outfit today" very smooth Liam very smooth.
"What?" she said and looked at her outfit "Is something wrong with this, I thought we were going to your office"
I looked at her luggage and started seeing what she had. I saw a pink material, I pulled out and gave her.
"Wear this, it looks good on you" I said to her.
I know she was going to ask something. When she opened her mouth to say something, I beat her up.
"Hurry up and get ready, I will give you fifteen minutes maximum" saying that I went out to my room to get ready.
I wore jeans and a T-shirt with full sleeves. Only four buttons were there. I didn't button it up.
I went downstairs and waited for Destiny to come. I heard heels clicking on the stairs. I looked up to see Destiny descending the stairs.
Wow she looked beautiful in that dress. Looks like I have good taste in choosing.
She came down and stood in front of me. I was speechless. She cleared her throat. I finally managed to talk.
"You look beautiful" I said. She blushed at my statement.
"Thank you and also for the breakfast, it was delicious" she said.
"You should be lucky to have it, because it was made by me" I said.
She rolled her eyes at me and said "Yeah yeah".
I took her hand and made it to the car in the parking lot. She didn't pull her hand out. I smiled.
I started the car and drove out of the parking lot.
"You are wearing a casual dress and you choose a dress for me. Are we really going to the office?" she asked after a few minutes.
I slightly looked at her and turned back towards the road. I cleared my throat and answered.
"We are not going to the office" why the hell am I nervous "I am taking you out" in the corner of my eyes I see her turning towards me "I know I should have asked you, but I was scared you would say no.
So I said it was business and bought you out.
And also I wanted to talk to you" I said and didn't turn towards her to see her reaction. I ran my hand in my hair.
'I think she would be angry at you' said my mind.
'You think' i said.
'yes'
Shit I should have asked her. It was silent. I slightly turned and looked at her. She was looking out of the window. I can't see her face. Is she angry at me. I was about to ask her when she started talking.
"So where are you taking me" she asked.
I looked at her confusingly and asked "You are not angry with me".
"Should I be" I shook my head "Well it would have been better if you had asked. So where to?" she said. I looked at her and she was slightly smiling.
I smiled at her and replied "You will come to know in a few minutes".
In ten minutes I parked the car and got out. I was about to open her door but she had already opened and got out.
I walked in front and she followed behind me. When we were about to enter the place, I heard a squeal behind me. I saw Destiny was stopped a few feet from me and her mouth was covered with her hand. Her eyes were shining wide seeing the sign in front.
"You bought me to amusement park" she literally screamed at me. I nodded my head not knowing if she liked it or not.
"Oh my God, it's been years since I went to one. Thank you Liam. Why are we still standing here let's go. I wanna ride all of them" she was so excited that she started dragging me by taking my hand. I smiled at her childishness.
The first plan is a success. YES!
We stood in line and bought the tickets. I bought fastrack tickets, so we can enter immediately without waiting for the line.
She was literally dragging me everywhere, and I don't have a problem with that. As long as she is with me, I will do whatever she wants. She still doesn't know she was holding my hand all this time. I was enjoying the feeling as I held her hand.
It was already noon, she was dragging me talking about the rides we have gone through.
"That was awesome isn't it, the rollercoaster, the way it dropped from the top, it was amazing" she was talking nonstop. I liked that, she was openly talking to me.
I stopped walking and tugged her hand to stop her as well.
She turned and saw our hands together. She blushed and started removing it.
I held it tight and tugged her towards me.
Her chest collapsed with mine. My body felt electrified due to her touch.
My other hand went around her waist and held her.
Her hands were on my chest. She looked up at me with wide eyes.
"You have been more excited than I thought, you literally roamed this whole place and I don't see tiredness in you. You are something else. It's already noon, aren't you hungry" I asked smiling at her and looked into her eyes.
She nodded her head. She was in a daze, still looking into my eyes.
I released her and took her hand and started making our way towards the food stalls.
"After eating, we are leaving. I have another surprise for you" I said.
"Really! Where are we going? " she asked excitedly.
"You have to wait for it" she pouted at my answer. I chuckled at her.
We finished eating and left the amusement park. The whole car ride was silent because she was sleeping like a baby. Looks like her energy was drained out in the park.
At four we reached our next destination. I got out of the car and went to her side and opened it. She looked cute while sleeping.
"Destiny, wake up we have arrived" I slightly shook her shoulder to wake her up. She opened her eyes and looked at me. I smiled at her. She turned and looked at the place we were.
"Come on princess, we will miss the reservation I made" I said and took her hand. She was still looking at the sight. I brought her to the London eye.
I paid the money and went inside the passenger capsule. Only we were both in it because I rented it.
It started moving, we were looking out enjoying the view. It was already sunset.
It's the right time to talk with her.
"Destiny" I called her. She turned her head and looked at me. I completely turned towards her and continued "I wanted to talk to you".
She nodded her. "Look I don't want to talk about the past but I have to, the way I insulted you is completely wrong.
I have hurt you. And I still regret it and until now" she turned her head towards the front but I continued "I don't know what happened that day, I just didn't like to see you with other men than me.
So I reacted that way. Can you forgive me for that, I know I don't deserve it.
But I will do anything for your forgiveness".
"Liam, the way you insulted me, it's still fresh in my head. I wasn't able to digest that, the man who sweet talked to me, can be this rude and disrespectful" I looked down ashamed of myself "I can't forgive you too easily Liam" she said. She was still looking at the view.
I took her hands in mine and said "Please princess, I will try my best. I will not give you any doubt about it. I can't lose you again when I just got you". I whispered the last statement.
"You have to gain my trust back. It's not easy, as it looked long back" she said and looked into my eyes. "So we can start with friends now" she asked slightly smiling at me.
I smiled at her and replied "Friends". Well I was not OK with friends but it's the start. I will try my best. Then she will be mine.
Suddenly I hugged her, surprising her. She was frozen for a few seconds but slowly she returned the hug.
"Thank you princess for at least considering it" I mumbled into her hair. She nodded her head.
After a few minutes the capsule door opened. We broke the hug and went outside.
We made it to the penthouse.
"Princess, the flight is at seven. So we have to hurry up" I said. She nodded her head and went to pack her luggage.
In half an hour we got out with our luggage and went towards the parking lot. The driver drove us to the airport.
Soon we were on the air. We ate dinner and watched movies.
It was good talking to her. I thought she wouldn't consider it, but she is very kind hearted. She didn't hold any grudge on me.
