Chapter 47
Destiny's pov
My dad opened the door to the house and shouted.
"Honey, we are back". Nick in my arms flinched and started to cry.
"Dad lower your voice a little. Nick got scared" I said cooing him. Liam put the baby seat back to its place. My mom came and took Nick from me and started soothing him.
"Don't cry baby. Destiny why don't you and Liam freshen up, I will arrange the table. Take him to your room" my mom said winking at me and went in with crying Nick. My dad followed her. I shook my head smiling at her. I put the rosses in the vase in living room.
"Come on" I said to Liam climbing the stairs to my room. I opened the door and went in. Liam walked in and looked around. I don't have much, since I moved to my apartment, everything is there. I have a family photo, which was taken when I was nine. Liam looked at it.
"You look cute when you were small" he smiled at that. I went towards the bathroom and said.
"I will be quick. Till then rest here"
I did my business and washed my face. I took the towel and cleaned my face as I went out. I saw Liam laying on my bed with his one hand behind his head with closed eyes.
"Liam you can go now" I said, he didn't move. I put the towel in the hamper and went towards the bed, stood beside it.
I shook his shoulder "Liam wake...... " I yelped cutting off my words. Liam grabbed my waist and pulled me on the bed with him hovering above me. I slapped his chest.
"You weren't sleeping were you" I asked glaring at him.
"No, I was just waiting for you to come near me" he said kissing my neck.
"Liam, go and freshen up" I said pushing him.
"But I haven't got my kiss today" he said kissing my collar bone.
"I gave you a kiss this morning" I said. He looked at me, like I was serious.
"You call that a kiss, it was more like a peck. I will show you what a kiss is" he said kissing me on the lips. I kissed him back. We kissed for few minutes, I pulled back breathing heavily. He trailed kisses to my neck and bit me there.
"Liam my parents are waiting downstairs. We have to go" I said suppressing a moan.
"One more minute" he said kissing me again. I moaned. He pulled away slowly breathing heavily.
"Go down, I will come in few minutes" he said kissing my forehead, got up from above me and moved towards the bathroom. I calmed down and want to the kitchen. My mom was setting the plates. Dad and Nick was no where to be seen.
"Where is dad and Nick" I asked helping her.
"They are in the living room. They will come" she said and looked at me. Immediately her eyes went to my neck. She smirked and came towards me. She pushed all my hair towards my left side.
"Did you check you have a hickey" she said. My eyes widened and put my hand on it. Shit. Stupid Liam, why does he have to do it now.
I blushed and went inside the kitchen. There is a small mirror next to the refrigerator. I moved my hair and saw. It was little big. I groaned looking at it.
My mom came in.
"Next time check before you come in" she said taking the things. I moved my hair to the left side covering it. I helped her. We placed everything on the table. My mom came towards me and held my face in her hands.
"Thank God you found someone. He is a good man, I can see it. He respects you a lot. I can see the love in his eyes" she said caressing my cheek.
Love?
I felt a tug on my pants, I looked down to see Nick tugging my pants.
"Where is the little munchkin" my dad voice went throughout the house. Nick giggled and crawled around my legs and went behind my mom. We both chuckled at him.
"Where is he, honey did you see him" my dad came in and asked mom. We heard his giggles.
"No. Where did he go" my mom said.
"Then I will check in other room" he said. He pointed his forefinger at his lips too be quiet. He went around the table. Nick peaked around mom. My dad came behind him and picked him up laughing. Nick giggled aloud. My dad lifted him in air and kissed his stomach. We laughed seeing them.
"You have become so sneaky now. I hope you are not giving my daughter any trouble" my dad said. I took Nick from him and kissed his cheek.
"Dad stop. He is just a child" I said. Liam came in, looked at us and stood behind me.
"Still, if he gives my daughter any trouble. I will scold him. Don't I" he said playfully tickling Nick. He giggled. My mom smaked my dad in his head.
"You are not making sense David" she said rolling her eyes. My dad pulled her to him and said.
"Then how do I make sense honey" he smirked at her. My mom blushed. They still act like teenagers.
"Okay, enough. Dad why don't you keep your thoughts to yourself and let us have dinner" I said putting Nick on the high chair. Liam chuckled sitting on the chair.
We started having dinner. My mom went to kitchen to bring something and at the same time the doorbell rang.
"I will see it" my dad said getting up and left the dining room.
"Your parents are prefect for each other. They seem very cozy in front of you" he said. I can hear amusement in his voice.
"You don't know half of it" I shook my head smiling "They don't see where they are, they flirt everywhere" I said chuckling as I remember their moments. They love each other. My mom came in with my favorite dessert and set it on the table.
My dad and Amanda came in. As soon as Nick saw Amanda, he started to bounce in his chair putting his hands up to pick him. Amanda chuckled and picked him up kissing his cheeks. She placed him back, he babbled something.
"I will freshen up and come. Okay sweetie" she said and went out. Nick started banging his chair. My mom continued feeding him. My dad and Liam started talking. I am happy they are getting along. Soon Amanda came back and took a plate. Everyone finished the food and ate the dessert.
We all went to the living room to watch Television. Amanda got up and went to kitchen. I wanted to talk with her, so I followed her.
She took out a bottle from the refrigerator.
"How is Harry" I asked leaning against the counter.
"He is doing great. Don't worry okay. Me, dad are there to look after them. And that friend of Ava is also there" she said hugging me. I hugged back. We went back to living room.
Liam has stood up from his seat and was talking to my parents. He saw me entering the room and came to me.
"We should get going. It will be late going back, it's already nine" he said. I nod my head. I went to my room and picked my bag. I went down to see my mother hugging Liam. I went to my dad.
"I will come again soon" my dad hugged me and gave a kiss on my forehead.
"Okay cupcake, be safe" I released him and hugged my mom and Amanda. I gave a kiss on cheek to Nick. My dad and Liam shook hands.
"Look after my daughter" my dad said.
"Always sir"
"Call me David son" my dad smiled at Liam.
We bid them goodbye and went towards his car.
There was the driver who drove me here yesterday.
He opened the back door to us and took my bag.
We sat in, he closed the door and put my bag in the trunk.
He came to the driver seat and started driving.
It was calm. Liam took my hand and intertwined with his. I placed my head on his shoulder.
"I thought about helping Ava's family to visit them" I instantly sat up and looked at him.
"It is possible. I mean.... what about her parents work and..... " he placed his finger on my lips silencing me.
"Don't worry about anything. Just trust me, I will handle everything. Give me Ava's home address after we reach home" he said. I hugged him tightly and cried. He caressed my hair.
"You are soo sweet. I like you so much" I said crying.
"I am doing this to keep you happy" he said. I pulled back and kissed his cheek. He wiped my tears and pushed my hair away from my face. He kissed my forehead.
"Why don't you spend the night in my home. We can have more time to rest before we head back to work" he asked. I nodded my head and placed my head back on his shoulder. I closed my eyes.
"Princess wake up" I heard Liam's voice. I opened my eyes slowly and looked around. I was still in Liam's car outside his house. Liam has opened the door and stood there. I think I slept off. He helped me out of the car. He took my bag and led me inside. The driver was no where to be seen.
He took me to the guest room, where I stayed when I came here to help him. He placed the bag on the chair and looked at me.
"Give me the address" he asked politely opening his mobile.
I told him "Good. Now have a good sleep" he said kissing my forehead and left.
I went towards my bag took out my night clothes which I brought to my parents house.
It was a top and shorts. The top is so big that it covers my shorts. I changed into them and went to bed.
I turned and tossed in my bed. I was not getting any sleep from an hour. I would sleep well every night but today I am not able to sleep.
'Is it because Liam is sleeping next to your room. And you want to cuddle him' my heart said.
"I don't know' I said.
I drank water from the glass which was placed on the night stand.
I placed it back and got up from the bed, I went out of the room.
I slowly walked towards Liam's room. I knocked at his door.
I didn't hear anything inside. I turned the knob slowly and peaked in.
It was dark, with the moonlight from the window, I can see few things.
Liam was sleeping peacefully on his bed.
I went inside and closed the door quietly.
I went towards his left side of the bed and stood there looking at him. He looked calm while sleeping.
I was debating in my mind whether to sleep here. I gave it a shot and got in. While doing that, Liam woke up.
"Princess, what happened? Do you want anything" he asked sitting up.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up. I was not able to sleep" I said mumbling the last words.
"Come here" he said laying down on the bed and opened his arms. I immediately went into his arms sighing. I snuggled into him. He kissed my forehead and put his chin on my head.
"Better" he asked sleepily. I nod my head. I closed my eyes and put my arm around him.
And instantly I was out like a feather.
