Chapter 63
Destiny's pov
I am tired of this. I am not able to do anything by myself.
It's been 12 days. Someone or the other have to help me do it for me.
I don't want this. I am getting irritated by this.
I am not mad at the people who are helping me, I am mad at myself for not doing anything.
My forehead cut is healed. Liam removed the bandage few days back.
We talked about my past, what happened after he left. I told him everything. He was angry on himself, he blamed himself for causing me problems. I said it was in the past, I am not bothered about it now.
I was brushing my hair from my left hand. I groaned in frustration with myself when I couldn't brush it.
"What happened to my princess" Liam said coming behind me. He the took the brush and started brushing. He is not wearing a shirt.
"I am starting to get mad at myself" I said sighing.
"And why is that" he asked brushing my hair.
"I can't do things by myself. See I can't even brush my hair, you are helping me.
I can't eat by myself. I am not mad at you guys, you are caring towards me.
But I feel useless. And I am mad at this" I pointed to my cast. He finished and placed the brush on the dresser.
He bent down to my level and placed his chin on my shoulder from behind. He looked at me from the mirror.
"Don't feel like that. It's for a short time, then this cast will be removed from you. Till then be patience" he said.
"But it's so long, I have three months for that" I whined.
"Think of it as just three months. It will be over. See its been twelve days already, and you don't even know it" he said kissing my cheek. I pouted at him. He chuckled and stood straight. I stood up as well and hugged him. I was only in my bra and underwear.
I went on my toes and kissed him. He kissed back.
After a minute he pulled away from me. He does this all the time since I am injured.
He wouldn't kiss me like before. He would pull away after a minute or more.
I am frustrated about this. He would hug me, cuddle me and help me, but I am not satisfied.
I want him to kiss me like before. I miss his kisses.
I punched his chest as hard as I can from my left hand and went to the closet.
"Don't talk to me" I said looking something to wear. He groaned.
"Now what did I do" he asked coming behind me.
I found his sleeveless hoodie and took my shorts.
I didn't reply to him. I wore my shorts, though he helped me.
I ignored him. I removed my arm supporter and tried to put the hoodie.
But he took it from me and helped me. Then he put my arm supporter back. I left him there and went out.
"Princess" he called coming behind me. He took my hand and stopped me.
"What did I do? Why are you mad at me. Few minutes back you were good" he said pulling me in his arms. I let out fake yelp. He released me immediately.
"Are you okay" he asked with concern. I turned around and walked towards the dining room. I sat on the chair sulking.
"What happened dear" Mellisa asked coming in with the breakfast.
"Nothing, I am mad at myself because I can't do anything" I said. She placed a plate infront of me. I took the spoon and started eating.
"This will over soon dear, don't worry" she said caressing my hair. I sighed continued to eat. Liam came in with his work clothes on. He sat beside me. I turned opposite to him. I heard him sigh. Mellisa came in with his breakfast and coffee. She looked at us and chuckled.
Lily and James had gone to other country for her fashion show few days back. I saw it online yesterday, it was good. They are coming back tonight.
We ate silently. I was struggling a little bit, but I ate it. I was drinking my juice after finishing the plate.
"Mellisa I am going to work" he said. Mellisa said okay from the kitchen.
"Princess I am going to work" he said behind me, I didn't turn. He sighed again and kissed my head. He went out. I got up and followed him silently. I saw him leaving through the window. I went to his room and called Alexis.
I would call her and ask today's work. I would blackmail her some how and take work. Even though Liam said me not to work. I ask her and do work as much as I can. Liam doesn't know I am doing this.
I would be most of the time in his room. I would go out for lunch and again come back to the room. I finished what work was there. I wanted to watch a movie in the home theater, so I went there informing Mellisa after my work. I took snacks and sat there watching my favorite movie.
I don't know what time it is, I heard the door for the theater opened.
"Princess" I heard Liam's voice. I closed my eyes and acted like I was sleeping.
I felt him come near me. He caressed my cheek.
He switched off the movie and picked me slowly.
I peaked at him when he was carrying me.
He looked stressed. He looked down at me, I closed my eyes immediately.
He placed me on soft mattress. I turned to my left.
I heard some shuffling behind me. Soon he joined me in the bed hugging me from behind.
"I don't know what I did to make you mad at me.
I thought all the day, but I didn't find out what I did.
I hope by tomorrow you will be fine" he said.
I opened my eyes and looked ahead of me.
After few minutes I heard him breathing softly.
I caressed his arm which was wrapped around me.
I turned towards him slowly looking out not hurting my hand.
He was looking handsome sleeping like this.
He was always sweet with me. And I didn't understand him, he was only looking out for me. He would always be there when I needed him. And I was mad at him for a simple thing. I caressed his cheek and leaned to his lips and pecked him.
"I am sorry. I love you" I said. For few minutes I just looked at him. I turned to my left and put my left hand on his. I closed my eyes and drifted to sleep.
Someone caressed my hair and called name.
"Destiny"
"Go away, I want to sleep" I mumbled.
"So you are going to sleep, even when your mom is here" I heard my mom voice.
What?
I opened my eyes and looked that the person. It was really my mom.
"Mom" I said sitting up fast.
"Easy girl, you are still healing" mom chuckled. I hugged her.
"When did you come and how did you know Liam's house" I asked pulling away.
"Liam called us yesterday and told us to come here.
He even sent driver there. Everyone came your dad, Amanda, Nick and Chris.
I am happy he called" she said looking behind me.
I turned and looked what she was seeing.
There was Liam looking nervous. I think he is nervous about my reaction.
I laughed internally. I turned towards mom.
"Why don't you wait downstairs, I will freshen up and come" I said getting out of the bed. I saw the time, it's 8.30 in the morning.
"You want any help" she asked. I shook my head.
"I am fine. Now go" I assured her. She started walking out and Liam also started going out.
"I didn't say you to go out. Come help me" I ordered. He stopped walking and looked at me. I went to the bathroom and took my brush. I reached out to him. He put on the paste. I brushed my teeth. He stood behind me with a bother look on his face.
I asked him to help me in removing my clothes and go out of the bathroom.
He did that and went out. I finished my bath and wrapped the towel around me loosely.
I came out and went to the closet. He stood there with my clothes.
A top with sweats. He helped me with the clothes.
I took the hair brush and started brushing giving it a try. Suddenly he started to talk.
"I am sorry. I don't know what I did. So I thought maybe spending time with your family will cool you down.
You didn't talked with me since yesterday morning.
Tell me what I did so I will not do that again" he said.
I put the brush down and went towards him.
I motioned him to lean down with my finger.
He did and I kissed him. He kissed back, but like yesterday he pulled away after a minute.
"This is why I was mad" I said. He looked confused "You don't even kiss me like before.
These kisses just last a minute. You don't even touch me like before.
I don't want that. I want you to kiss me like I am here for you.
I know I am still healing from the injure and you are stopping because of it.
And I don't like that at all. Even if you are near me, I still feel like I am missing you.
I feel like you don't want me anymore. I.
....." my words were cut off by his lips.
He kissed me deeply. He slightly pushed me back till my back touch the wall.
He put his hands on the wall and maintained some distance between us. I grabbed his collar from my left hand. He put his right hand on my hip and squeezed it. I moaned loudly and pulled him more to me. We kissed till we ran out of breath. I pulled away and tried to catch my breath.
"I am sorry. I didn't know you were feeling like that. I am sorry" he said hugging me. I hugged back.
"I hope you got what you wanted" he asked. I nod my head and hugged him tightly.
"I love you" he said caressing my hair.
"I love you too" I said pulling away. He grabbed my face and kissed my forehead.
"Now come on your family is waiting for you" he said pulling me out.
We went downstairs to the living room. Everyone was there talking. Mellisa, Lily, Amanda and mom were on one side. Dad, James and Nick at one side. I didn't see Chris.
"Hi" I said excitedly. Everyone looked at me. Dad got up and came towards me.
"Cupcake how are you, doing good" he asked hugging me.
"I am good dad" I said. Next came my sister and then my nephew Nick. Even though I couldn't carry him, I gave kiss on his cheeks. He was happy seeing me.
"Everyone come for breakfast, I have prepared it" Mellisa said.
"Where is Chris" I asked.
"Are you kidding me. There is a freaking gaming room here" Chris voice came from the basement and then came in front of us.
"I am so happy to see you Chris" I said sarcastically at him. He was not bother about me, but a gaming room.
"Hey Sky" he said that turned to Liam.
"Can I play" he asked. I slapped his head hard from my left hand. Everyone laughed.
"Did you come here for me or the gaming room" I asked. He rolled his eyes.
"It's better than you" he said. I slapped his head again.
"Mom" he whined.
"She did the right thing. I will say, give him another Destiny" she said. He ducked his head this time as I was about to slap him. Everyone laughed looking at us.
They all went to the dining room. I held Liam's hand from going in. He looked at me. I hugged him and looked up at him.
"Thank you" I said kissing him.
