Chapter 70
Liam's pov
Time flies quickly. It's been three months.
And these two months were full of stress.
There was a big problem in the company. Some asshole has been sending our data to some other company.
And we are facing problems from that. This made a fucking mess.
We found that guy, he hasbeen working for other company in order to dispose our data.
We put him behind the bars and took the down the company.
We have to make a whole new deals with the companies we have merged. The clients were angry and was ready to leave our company. But I managed it well, by making new deals. They agreed eventually.
It's been a month and a half since I saw my love, my princess.
I have been travelling to other countries to the main branches sorting out the problem.
I asked Destiny to come with me but she refused.
She said she will look after the company until I return back.
And I agreed, because someone has to be in my company and I can't depend on my father, he has his business.
And now I am currently in Hawaii. This is the last one I am visiting. I thank God because everything was back to normal. Today is the last day here and by tomorrow I get to see my love. Day after tomorrow is her birthday. I have to make her birthday special.
I am dying to see her. We would call or facetime sometimes, but it would end fast. I want her back in my arms. And I am going to ask her to marry me, if this situation was not going on now I would have already asked her the question.
I had everything set up but this mess happened.
I had bought a beautiful ring for my beautiful princess.
I stood up from the chair and looked at all members in my meeting room.
"Thank you for your all the support and continue with your work like this" I said moving out of the room.
I went towards my temporary office in here.
I sat on the chair and relaxed. Finally everything is going good.
I heard a knock at the door. I said 'come in'.
A woman came in with tight fitting blouse and skirt. I rolled my eyes at her.
Grace Finley, secretary of this building. She has been my back since I have landed here. She would constantly try to flirt with me. I just ignored her.
"Sir, everything is done" she said placing a file on the desk. I took the file and checked it. She leaned upon the desk by placing her hands on it. She display her chest. But I just looked at her face blankly.
"Are you free this evening. Maybe we could spend some time together. What do you say Liam" she asked batting her eyelashes.
"Have some respect Miss Finley, I am your boss" I said in serious tone "Take this and get out. If I find you behave again infront me like this, I may fire you" I said throwing the file on the desk. I got up and left the room with her being shocked. I removed my tie, because it's freaking hot here.
I sat in the car and called Destiny. I waited for her to pick the call but she didn't. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, she would have picked my call anytime. I called again, she didn't pick.
Why isn't she picking up the call?
I called my mother. She picked up after four rings.
"Hello" she said.
"Mother where is Destiny, she is not picking my call" I asked.
"Oh she is in the office" she said. But I think she is lying.
"Okay" I said not satisfied with her answer. "You are not lying right" I asked.
"Son, why would I lie" she said.
"Okay" I said hanging up. I went to the hotel to my penthouse which is at the top of the building. It was mainly made of glass. It has a beautiful view of the ocean. I tried again to call her but she didn't answer it. I was frustrated.
I waited her to call back but she didn't. I tried the whole evening, or eventually for her call, but the call didn't connect to her mobile.
I called my mother again. She said Destiny mobile was broken.
I asked whether I can talk to her, but she said Destiny is busy.
I was about to ask again, but mother cut the call saying she was being called.
It's already eight in the night, and I am still waiting for Destiny's call.
But it didn't come. I didn't talk to her the whole day.
I just want to hear her voice atleast. Tomorrow morning at ten is my flight.
I can't just wait to go home. I went out of my penthouse for a walk.
I went down towards the lobby near the reception.
I was about to go out when I heard a voice which made me stop.
"Can you please call Liam Collins. He is staying in this hotel. My mobile is dead" a woman was asking, her voice was same as my princess. I turned towards the reception. There stood my princess with a luggage bag near her. She was talking to the receptionist.
"Sorry madam, we can't call him when a girl like you is asking" the receptionist said looking at my love in disgust. This made me angry. Who the hell is she to talk to my princess like that.
"I would have watched out that mouth of yours if I were you Miss" I said glaring at the reception. She looked at me in shock. Destiny turned and looked at me. She smiled brightly seeing me.
"Liam" she said running to me. I opened my arms for her, as she came to hug me. I hugged her back tightly and lifted up her. I smiled into her hair closing my eyes. I missed her in my arms.
"God. You don't know how much I missed you" I said as I placed a kiss on her neck. She shivered slightly at that.
"I missed you too" she said. I placed her down and pulled away from her. I was about to ask her the question when someone interrupted us.
"I am so sorry sir, I didn't knew she was someone important to you. I thought she was lying" the receptionist said who was standing beside us looking down. I looked at her blankly.
"This is as an warning. If I find you behaving like this to any other customers.
You will be fired" I said to her. She nodded her head and went back.
I took Destiny's bag and pulled her to the elevator.
It was empty. As the elevator door closed.
I showered her face with my kisses. She giggled trying to pull away but I pulled her to me by her waist.
"Liam stop" she said. I pulled away and looked at her in the eyes as I smiled wholeheartedly.
"Is this the reason you were avoiding my calls, so you can surprise me" I asked caressing her cheek. She was looking more beautiful. Her eyes were shining in happiness.
"Yeah, I thought to call when I reach at the hotel. But my mobile died in the flight so I couldn't call" she said. The elevator door opened, I took pulled her out to my penthouse. As we entered Destiny gasped.
"Wow, it's so beautiful" Destiny said looking around and moved towards the glass window. She looked out at the night view. I left her bag and went behind her. I hugged her from behind and placed my chin on her left shoulder. She wrapped her arms around mine.
"So why this sudden surprise, tomorrow I would have come home" I asked.
"Mellisa and Lily made me. They said we have been through so much. So we have to spend some time together before you came back home. They even booked the flight ticket without informing me" she chuckled as she caressed my arm. I placed kisses on her neck.
"Mother lied to me since I called her asking about you. She would find some excuses everytime. Well they did plan good. I have missed you a lot" I said lifting my head. I grabbed her chin with my left hand and tilted her face towards me. I kissed her lips slowly, she kissed back.
She turned her body towards me in my arms. I cupped her face and kissed her deeply.
We both moaned at the feeling. I miss kissing her and this feeling.
She kissed back circling her arms around my neck.
We kissed for few minutes and she pulled away placing her head on my chest. I hugged her rubbing her back.
"I missed you so much. I love you" she said.
"I love you too" I said kissing her head. I pulled away from her when she yawned. I looked at her, she was looking tired.
"Come on we will eat dinner and go to sleep. You must be tired" I said. She nod her head. I told her the room when she asked. She went in taking the bag. I called for the room service and ordered the food. The food came and I prepared everything as Destiny came back. She was wearing my hoodie.
We ate the food talking about everything happening in the company.She asked about my wound at the back. We finished it and left to go to the room.
Destiny got in the bed under the sheets. I removed my T-shirt and got into the bed. I pulled Destiny into my arms and kissed her forehead. She signed.
"I missed this. I couldn't get sleep for few days" she said cuddling into me.
"Me too. I am addicted to you. It was hard living without you" I said. I put my hand inside the hoodie and rubbed her back. She was not wearing her bra.
"Good night Liam" she mumbled.
"Good night princess" I said. She slept of so fast. I looked at her face as she was sleeping. I heard my mobile ringing at the nightstand. I pulled my hand out her hoodie and took the mobile. It was my mother. I picked the call.
"Hello mother" I said .
"Did Destiny called you back son" mother teased me. I chuckled and looked at my princess.
"Yes. Well I can say she is safe in my arms sleeping peacefully now. Thank you mother and for Mellisa" I smiling myself.
"We did nothing son. You both needed some time together. Take two or three days leave and enjoy. And do something special for Destiny's birthday" she said.
"Sure mother" I said.
"So when will we hear the wedding bells" she asked. I smiled brightly as a idea popped in my mind.
"Soon" I said hanging up. I placed my mobile back and looked at Destiny. I caressed her cheek.
"Liam" she mumbled cuddling more into me. I chuckled. She is already dreaming about me and I am still awake.
I will make her birthday special this year, she won't forget it in her life time. She deserves the best. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep with my love in my arms.
