Chapter 72
Liam's pov
I helped Destiny walk. As the part of sand came, she was finding it difficult to walk. I made her to stop walking.
"Did we reach" she asked.
"Not yet princess. I know you are finding it to difficult to walk. So....." I left her hand and picked her up in a bridal style. She let out a yelp and circled her arms around my neck. She slapped my chest. I started walking.
"A heads up would have been good than picking me up like that" she said.
"Where would be fun in that" I chuckled. After few minutes I reached to the spot, and I placed her on the wooden deck. I slowly opened her blindfold. She opened her eyes and gasped at the view.
I had set up a romantic beach dinner date with sunset view. The sky was in different colors mixed with red, orange, yellow. The view was so beautiful. I know Destiny loves the nature view so much.
"Wow, it's so beautiful" she said enjoying the mesmerising view. Wind blew making her hair fall on her face. I removed it and placed it behind her ear.
"Yes it's beautiful" I whispered looking at her beautiful face. She looked at me and blushed. She looked at my outfit. I was wearing a three piece black suit.
"You look handsome" she said smiling at me.
"Well I have to match up to my girlfriend's beauty" I said smirking at her.
She blushed again. She turned red as her dress.
She looked beautiful in that dress. The neckline showed her cleavage and that backless, it's hard to control seeing her looking so sexy.
That red lipstick on her lips, it's like inviting me to kiss her.
She knows, the red lipstick do things to me.
"Why don't we enjoy the sunset first and then continue with the dinner" I asked. She nod her head. She removed her heels and walked on the sand. I followed behind her. She smiled jogging on the beach picking her dress. I stood and looked at her happy self.
She stood near the waves and would back run back as the waves comes. She looked around and saw me. She stretched her hand towards me smiling. I smiled back and went towards her. I grabbed her hand and hugged her from behind. We stood there watching the sunset.
"Happy birthday to my princess. I am sorry if I offended you" I said.
"It's okay. I was upset at first but it's more worth it now" she said turning around in my arms.
"I have your biggest gift in home. You have to wait till we reach there" I said placing my hand on her bare back. She smiled brightly nodding her head. I leaned my forehead against her closing my eyes.
"This backless dress is torturing me" I said caressing her back with my thumb. She traced her lips against mine and pulled away.
"After all it's your selection, so you have to endure it" she said pecking my lips and escaped from me. I looked at her surprised comeback. She laughed at me walking backwards.
"You little..." I said running to her. She let out a squeak and started running turning around.
When I was near her, I reached for her waist and hugged it from behind as I caught her.
She laughed out loudly grabbing my arms. I picked her up and spinned her laughing with her. I placed her back and kissed her cheek.
"Come on, let's have dinner. But first, let us cut the cake" I said. She said okay. We went back on the deck, where the table was placed. Every dish was covered. I opened the cake box and placed it on the table. I have ordered her favorite chocolate cake. I lit the small candle.
"Make a wish" I said. She closed her eyes for few seconds and opened them. She blew the candle. I clapped at her. She smiled and cut the cake. I took a piece of it and bought it to her lips. She ate it. Her eyes lit with happiness.
"It's so good" she said taking another piece and eating it. I chuckled at her. And obviously, while eating she makes a mess. She had some chocolate cream at side of her lips. I took a tissue and wiped it. She smiled at me and took another bite.
"Enough princess, you can't eat the whole cake. You still have to eat dinner" I said. She nodded her head sadly.
I pulled out a chair for her to sit and I sat beside her.
We started eating the dinner. And the sky turned into dark quickly. While eating I got up and she looked at me.
"Close your eyes" I said. She looked confused. I nod my head, she closed her eyes. I went towards the another table and took my gift. I came behind her and opened the box. I took out the necklace I had bought for her.
I put the necklace around her neck and put the earrings.
"Open your eyes" she opened her eyes and at the necklace. She gasped touching it.
"Liam it's so beautiful. You didn't have to" she said looking up at me.
"You need to treated like my princess" I said.
"Thank you" she smiled looking at me. I kissed her forehead and sat back on the chair. After eating the dinner, I pulled out another gift from under the table.
I gave it to Destiny. She took from me and unwrapped the gift. It was a heart shape box. She opened it and let out a small happy squeak.
"Chocolates" she said taking one from the box.
"You should have gave it before dinner. I couldn't eat it now. I am full" she pouted looking at the box and placed back the chocolate.
"So you can be high on sugar. No. So I gave it now.
You can eat them tomorrow" I said. She started sulking putting the box on the table.
She is so childish when it comes to the chocolate.
I got up and put 'all of me' song. I took Destiny hand pulled her up.
I placed another hand on her waist and pulled her close to me. She placed her hand on my shoulder.
We danced silently to the rhyme. We smiled dancing with each other.
I left her waist and twirled her two times.
I pulled her to me and dipped her down. I lifted her up and hugged her from behind.
I closed my eyes and pressed my cheek against her.
She leaned into me grabbing my arms. We swayed to the music.
I pulled away and twirled her again. She put her hands on my chest and swayed to the music.
I grabbed her waist and followed her. We both looked into our eyes.
She closed her eyes and started leaning to me.
I did the same and captured her soft lips.
We kissed slowly, passionately. By the time we pulled away, the song was finished.
"Thank you, this is the best birthday ever" she whispered smiling at me.
"There is still one more thing left" I said. She groaned placing her head on my chest.
"What can still be there. You gave me everything" she said looking at me.
"Just wait" I sait. I lifted my hand and snapped my fingers. Immediately fireworks started behind Destiny. She turned around and gasped looking at the sky.
'Here comes the main part Liam. Don't mess it up. Don't be nervous' I said to myself.
I took a step back and looked at Destiny. She was smiling looking at the colorful fireworks blasting in the sky. I kneeled down on my one knee and waited for Destiny to turn around.
"Liam it's so beautiful. Thank....." she stopped when she saw me kneeling down as she turned around. She was shocked looking at me.
"Princess, spending my time with you is so beautiful.
I always feel complete when I am with you.
Whenever you look into my eyes and say 'I love you', my heart beats every fast. Then I came to know, this heart is just for you.
Leaving far away from you is impossible for me.
You are an addict like a drug. I love everything about you.
Your smile, eyes, lips, your body and your soul.
You are a selfless person I have ever known.
You deserve a way good person than me for what I did in the past. But I am a selfish person when it comes to you.
At starting I couldn't let you go because you were also in my mind and in my heart.
Even after years you held my heart and still holding on to it.
And I want you to keep holding on to it in the future" I said looking into her eyes.
I can see tears welled up in her eyes. I took the ring box from my pocket and opened it.
"Will you promise me to continue this journey with me, to be with me, to be in each others up and down, to take me as your husband, to be mother to my children.
Will you marry me?" I asked looking into her eyes.
She was crying looking lovingly at me. She bend on her knees infront of me and hugged me tightly.
She pulled away slightly and kissed my lips cupping my face.
I kissed back pulling her to me with one hand. She pulled away and looked at me.
"Yes. Yes. I will marry you" she said still crying, but she was smiling. I smiled back. We both stood up. I pulled out the ring from the box and took Destiny's left hand. I put the ring on her ring finger and kissed on it. She pulled away and looked at it.
"It's so beautiful" she said admiring the ring. I was in doubt whether she will like it or not. But seeing her looking at it like that. I feel happy.
"Thank you so much" she beamed throwing her arms around my neck and hugged me tightly. I hugged her back. She shivered slightly in my arms. She is cold. I pulled away and removed my coat. I draped it on her shoulders covering up. She smiled at me.
"Come on we should get going. It's cold outside for you" I said pulling her to me. I called my driver to be ready.
After an half hour, we are back to my penthouse.
Destiny went towards the room. I placed the chocolates in the refrigerator and went towards the room.
I entered and saw Destiny trying to remove the necklace.
She had tied her hair up. Seeing her backless dress, I feel hot.
I went behind her and looked at her through the mirror. She looked at me too.
I lifted my hands to remove it. I removed it and placed it on the table. I slide my finger down her spine. She held her breathe. I leaned towards neck and started kissing. There was a small knot at the back, just above her ass. I removed it. I left her hair free.
I pulled away and turned her towards me.
I trailed my finger on her soft skin from her forehead to her shoulder.
I pushed her left strap of the dress. Then I removed her right strap.
Her upper body was naked as the material fell to her waist. I leaned down to her lips and kissed it slowly. We both moaned kissing each other.
I starting taking the steps forward and eventually she moved back.
When her back hit the glass wall. I lost it.
I grabbed her back of the neck and kissed her roughly.
She started unbuttoning my vest and removed it.
Then she unbuttoned my shirt and roamed her hands on chest. I tucked her dress down making it fall on the fall on the ground.
I roamed my hands against her hip to touch any material, but I didn't find anything.
This made me so hot. I picked her up and moved towards the bed.
I throw her on the bed and hovered above her. I removed my shirt and threw it. I saw the beauty infront of me. I leaned to her neck and kissed her.
Destiny was sleeping peacefully after our make out session. I was only a minute away from making love to her. Thank God she slept off while we were still kissing. I thought why she is not responding to me, I pulled away and saw her already fell sleep.
We both are completely naked under the sheets.
I was turned towards Destiny looking at her as she sleep.
The sheets were just above her breast. She looked like an angel.
She turned towards me and wrapped her arm around me.
She cuddled into me pressing her body against mine.
I removed her hair on her face and kissed her lips.
"Good night princess. I love you" I said wrapping my arms around her. I closed my eyes with a feeling of complete in my life.
