Chapter 3
The Alpha King is nothing like I though he would be. I thought he would be something like my Alpha is but a little less violent.
But he has been so nice and sweet to me. And when he was talking about Alpha Noah he was so careful not to upset me with this topic. I wanted to tell him everything about what has happened to me.
And he also wants to be with me? A Omega and the Alpha King? Together?
I mean it has happened before but I never thought it would happen to me.
"Do you need to grab anything from your room? Like clothes or belongings?" Jaxson asks me.
I node my head yes. I'm not used to someone putting this much attention to me. I guess I am going to have to get used to this. At least for the next 6 months.
The Alpha King stands up first and holds his hand out for me to take. I gingerly put my hand in his as I stand up. He leads me to the door and I was about to move my hand out of his but he tightened his grip. Not enough to hurt me, but enough to tell me not to remove my hand.
"I want people to know you are my mate." He says to me, making me blush, again.
I looked at him to see him looking at me. I nodded my head yes to tell him I was ok. As the doors opened and we moved to the stairs I took deep breathes to calm myself.
I walked to my closet. Once arriving everyone could see Jaxson was angry about my living conditions.
"I am going to have a conversation with your Alpha before we leave. You just pack and when you're done just give your bags to Michael. Ok?" He tells me after he looks around my room completely. It didn't take him that long.
"Ok." I said standing still the whole time he was looking around. He stopped and smiled at me trying to tell me everything was ok. But I know he was going to punish my now old Alpha.
And I know he deserved it but a part of me hopes it not something to bad. I don't want to cause the same pain he caused me. That would just put me on the same level as him.
After Jaxson leaves I look for a bag to put my stuff in.
A man I never seen before knocks on the door, making me aware of his presence.
I am guessing he is Micheal. In his hands there was a duffel bag for me.
I just take it and start filling it with the little amount of clothes I have and my books that I can't separate with.
And finally the only picture I have of my parents. They were about in their 20s in the picture way before they had me. It just makes me happy seeing them both happy.
It was only 20 minutes later when I finish and handed my bag over to Micheal who carried it to the car. As I walked down the stairs for the final time, their were people at the bottom looking at me. I felt nervous with all of their eyes on me.
"Are you really the Alpha King's mate?" One of the nicer chiefs asked me.
I nodded my head and said "Yes, I am honestly surprised he wants me." The pack members around the chief were listening to us talk.
"Don't be scared." he said to me. "I have only hear good things about this King. He cares for you. I am just sorry he had to find you here." He said to me.
I was never close to anyone but I could tell this man wanted to help me but was scared to.
"Thank you." I said and he bowed his head a little to me. It was weird but with Micheal next to me I didn't stop him. I just continued my way out of the house. People still watching me till I got into the car.
I was appalled at Carolina's room. I mean it's the size of a big closet. I didn't want to leave Carolina just yet but I had to talk to Noah before we left and I don't want to be here any longer then I have to be.
I walked down the stairs a lot of the pack still around the entrance. I saw Noah standing next to his wife who seemed to be holding their daughter crying.
They know what was about to happen.
I pointed to Noah, his Beta, and their mates then to the dinning room where I talked to Carolina.
"Alpha King." He was about to say something but I stopped him. "Wait till we are somewhere more private. I am sure you don't want your child to hear this."
All color in his face drained. He dropped his head and said "Yes Alpha King." And him and his mate moved to the room. All packs have a Alpha/Luna and Beta Male/Female but the bigger packs have Thirds as well. This one did not.
Once we entered the room I shut the door and sat across the table from the two shaking men and their crying wives.
How did they even inherit this pack?
"You are being charged with wrongful treatment of pack and offending the royal family. Any denials?" I ask.
"Alpha King we didn't know she was your mate!" The Beta man said. "Well you should have thought of that before mistreating a pack member!" I yelled making him shut up. He wife just glared at him telling him to stop making things worse.
"What are our punishments?" The Luna of this pack, Recce asked. Her voice shaky and scared.
For these charges someone could be put in the Royal pack's Jail for life. So I think they are getting off easy.
"You will be stripped of your titles of course. And now demoted to Omega ranking seeing as that is your reasoning behind your mistreatment to my mate. Her ranking." I told them.
The women let out a breath of relief knowing they got off easy but the men looked angry. It was probably their idea to treat Carolina with such violence. They are now the thing they hate. Being weak and being told what to do.
"Your children are also stripped of power but will not be demoted. I will find your replacements after I arrive back home." I finally said making the women happier that their mistakes would not hurt their children to much. I stand and leave the couples in the room.
I hope Carolina is ready cause I don't want to stay here.
As I walk out of the house I see Micheal in the driver seat. He sees me and moves out of the car and opens the back door for me. I see Carolina already in there with her head on the window looking like she was about to fall asleep, but trying to stay awake.
I was about to reached my hand out and move her to lean on me. Seeing as I am probably more comfortable then the window. But stopped not knowing if she would be ok with that.
"You can lean on me if you want?" I say instead of moving her. She looks at me started, she probably did hear me get into the car, and thinks about it for a second before starting moving. I unbuckle her seat belt and let her move to the middle where I buckled her back up and she leaned on me.
I felt nice to have my mate now out of this pack and with me. It's a little strange now having my mind completely wrapped around her when only a hour ago it was only focused on the kingdom, but as she snuggled closer to me and fell asleep it all felt normal and right.
The ride was going to be long and we were also going to have to get on a plane to California. But that's not for another hour so I am just going to let her sleep till then.
"Sir. May I speak freely." Micheal said in a more quite voice which I appreciated. "Yes, You may." I said.
Micheal has always been a great Chauffeur and pack member. Loyal to me and the royal family completely.
"I notice while the new Luna Queen was packing she didn't have many clothes. Maybe you should order her some clothes till you both can get her more." He says.
"A great idea. I will pick her out some things while we are on the plane. Did you happen to see what else she packed?" I asked curious.
"A lot of books and some other little things." Micheal said.
"Ok. Thank you Micheal." I said looking back at Carolina. I hope she adapts to the royalty life and her new responsibilities. I will start her off slowly once she gets more confident in herself and in her abilities.
I wonder what her wolf is like? I know a lot of packs don't let their Omegas shift very often. I wonder if she even knows her wolfs name.
I will ask all my questions when I can, but for now I am enjoying this.
Or I was till my phone rang waking Carolina up a little. She just groaned and snuggled into me closer. I chuckled at her reaction, I know it is just the mate pull and the fact she is asleep and doesn't know what she is doing.
I pull my phone out of my pocket to see my mother is calling me. I have her and my father taking care of the pack so it might be important or completely the opposite. But I answer anyway.
"Hello mom." I say casually.
"Hello Jaxson. Have you finished your last visitation?" She asked. So this call isn't important.
"Yes, I have." I say not sure if I want to tell her about Carolina now or when I get home. "Was it good?" She asked, I know she is digging to know in case I did find my mate.
"Uhhh. Good and bad." I say.
"What happened?" My dad asks. I didn't know he was listening. I shouldn't be surprised though. Where ever my mother is so is my father.
"Well I was visiting the Red Woods pack and the Alphas and Betas that were there were mistreating a Omega. I had to strip their titles." I said
"Who was the Omega there?" My mom asked.
"Ummm. Her name is Carolina. And she is my mate." I said. The other side of the phone became quite. "Are you serious Jaxson! You find your mate and you didn't call us to tell us." My mom fused.
"Yes. I didn't want to over whelm her. I just met her and she is really tired. I will let you both meet her when we arrive home and she is checked out. I want to make sure she is ok after her mistreatment from her pack." I told them.
"Great! I am excited to meet her. You both travel safe ok." Mom says wrapping up our conversation.
"We will. Good bye Mom. Bye Dad." I told them. "Bye son. And tell your mate, Carolina we are excited to meet her." Dad tells me. "I will" I say and hang up the phone.
I look at Carolina to see her already looking at me.
"Sorry for waking you." I tell her. bringing her closer to me.
"It's ok." She says quietly stiffing up a bit before relaxing into my hold. I smile at her and say "My parents are excited to meet you."
She nods her head before asking "Are your parents nice?" I chuckle at the question. "Yes. And I promise they will like you." She seemed to just think about what I said but doesn't seem to believe me.
A common trait of hers I guess.
"Hey, I promise they will like you." I say again. "I don't break my promises. Especially with you." She has a small smile now.
I lightly kiss her cheek making her blush and I just chuckled at her.
The rest of the ride was nice and once we reached the airport we moved to the plane.
Carolina said she had never been on a plane so she was a little nervous.
I was happy to be there for her as we made our way to her new home.
