Your pu__y smells so good heart!
Next morning.
Everyone was already gathered in the hall, fully dressed and waiting for Maya and Atharva. The air carried a quiet sense of preparation. Men stood in crisp white kurtas and pajamas, while the women glowed in elegant red sarees, the contrast painting the room in ceremonial hues or may be temple.
Just then, Maya and Atharva walked in together.
Almost instantly, every gaze shifted toward them.
They were striking on their own… but standing side by side, there was something undeniably magnetic about them. A quiet power. A dangerous kind of harmony.
Maya glanced around and spoke calmly, “Shall we leave for the temple?”
Suman looked surprised. “Yes… but Atharva? You got ready? You never go to the temple.”
Atharva’s eyes briefly swept over everyone before settling on Maya. A slow, knowing smirk touched his lips.
“Well… if my wife is going, how could I not?”
Soft smiles spread through the hall as everyone began moving outside.
From the corner, Anvi quickly glanced at Veer, who stood there pretending to be unaffected, though the stiffness in his shoulders betrayed him.
Beside Atharva, Maya rolled her eyes and deliberately turned her face away.
Atharva leaned closer, his breath warm against her ear. His voice dropped into a dangerous whisper.
“Don’t you dare to tease me, biwi… or the temple might turn into our dark room before you even realize it.”
Maya shot him in a sharp glare, visibly disgusted.
“Ugh… you are seriously shameless. At least spare God.”
His smirk only deepened.
“I’m not planning anything with Him… whatever I do will be with you.”
Flustered and annoyed, Maya lightly shoved his chest and quickly walked ahead.
Outside, the cars were already lined up.
Everyone began settling in.
“Maya! Come,” Anvi called warmly.
Maya started walking toward her, but suddenly—
Atharva’s fingers wrapped firmly around her wrist.
“Where are you going, biwi?”
His tone was calm, but the possessiveness underneath was unmistakable.
“You’re coming with me.”
Maya frowned. “Why? We’re all going to the same temple. What difference does it make?”
Atharva_“I said… you’re coming with me.”
Maya glared at him, then looked helplessly toward Anvi.
Anvi immediately understood. With a small knowing smile, she quietly got into her car without interfering.
Everyone was almost ready to leave
when Maya suddenly paused.
“Where is Nidhi? I don’t see her.”
Atharva casually opened the car door. “She must be in one of the cars. Come on.”
Veer and Dhruv were still outside, helping everyone settle.
Maya was just about to step into the car when—
“Take me along too!”
Nidhi came hurrying from behind.
Maya, along with Atharva, Veer, and Dhruv, all turned toward her.
“Oh! I was just asking about you,” Maya said. “Where were you?”
Nidhi gave a slightly breathless smile. “I went to the kitchen to drink water, bhabhi… and everyone here forgot about me.”
“Alright, come with us,” Maya said gently.
Nidhi’s eyes flickered once toward Atharva before she shook her head softly.
“No, bhabhi… you go with bhai. I’ll manage with the others.”
Maya hesitated. “But—”
Then she shot Atharva a pointed look.
“You’ve scared everyone, haven’t you?”
Atharva lifted a brow, completely unfazed.
“What’s there to be scared of, biwi? Just basic manners.”
Maya was about to step into the car again when—
her eyes suddenly caught Nidhi swaying.
For a split second, Nidhi’s balance faltered. She was about to fall..
Maya instantly rushed forward.
But in her hurry, her own foot twisted painfully.
Both of them were about to crash to the ground—
when strong arms moved at lightning speed. Atharva and Veer lunged toward Maya.
Dhruv caught Nidhi just in time.
The fall was stopped… barely.
Within seconds, the rest of the family came rushing out of their cars.
Atharva steadied Maya carefully, his grip firm but controlled. His eyes scanned her face with sharp concern.
“Are you okay?”
Maya winced but nodded. “I’m fine… but Nidhi—”
Nidhi hadn’t completely fainted. She held her head, trying to steady herself while Dhruv quickly handed her water.
Maya quietly straightened, hiding the way her ankle throbbed.
No one noticed.
Except Atharva.
Suman hurried forward, worry written all over her face.
“Maya! Nidhi! What happened? How did you suddenly feel dizzy Nidhi?”
“I don’t know…” Nidhi murmured weakly. “Maybe because of stress. College exams are near.”
Anvi frowned. “Who even takes that much stress over college exams?”
While everyone focused on Nidhi, Atharva’s gaze had already dropped to Maya’s foot.
Sharp. Observant. Unmissable.
Maya was in real pain now, but because of the attention on Nidhi, she stayed silent.
Just then Rajvendra spoke gently, “Are you okay to go to the temple, beta? Shall we leave now?”
Nidhi immediately shook her head.
“No… I’m feeling very uneasy. You all go. Because of me your prayers will get disturbed.”
Priya nodded. “Yes, you should rest. It’s very sunny anyway, and there are stairs at the temple too.”
Suman_Yes beta! Don't put too much stress..
Arun looked at Maya. “Maya? Shall we go?”
Maya forced herself up. “Yes—”
The moment she stood—her ankle gave way again. A sharp sound escaped her.
Before she could fall—Atharva caught her instantly.
Now everyone noticed.
“Maya, what happened?” Arun asked, crouching beside her.
“Yes, baccha?” Seema added anxiously.
Maya was about to speak—
but Atharva answered first, voice calm and decisive.
“Madam sprained her ankle when she ran to catch Nidhi.”
Before anyone could react further, he bent down and lifted Maya into his arms.
Maya stiffened slightly, caught off guard by the sudden closeness, but the pain in her ankle kept her quiet.
He carried her inside.
Everyone followed.
Atharva gently placed her on the couch, then lowered himself onto one knee in front of her. With careful precision, he lifted her injured foot and rested it over his thigh.
All eyes were on him now.
“I call the doctor,” Veer said immediately.
“No,” Atharva replied coolly. “It’s just a minor sprain. I’ll fix it.”
Maya stared at him nervously.
“Atharva… do you even know how to fix it? Please don’t break my ankle.”
Atharva slowly lifted his gaze to hers.
“Do you trust me?”
“No.”said maya..
Soft laughter filled the room.
His lips curved faintly. “Good Then. Now think about something else. Don’t look here.”
Maya clenched the couch, face tightening with pain. “How am I supposed to not look when it hurts this much?”
Anvi quickly sat beside her and held her arm. “It’ll be fine. Talk to me… just trust jiju.”
Maya squeezed her eyes shut. “Nooo… please, Veer, call the doctor—”
“Maya.”
His voice was firm.
“Look at me.”
Maya_“I don’t want to.”
Atharva_“Biwi.Look into my eyes.”
Reluctantly… slowly…
Maya lifted her eyes toward him—and in the very next second—
Atharva twisted her ankle sharply back into place.
Maya cried out loudly.
She immediately pulled her foot back, clutching it.
“I told you to call the doctor—”
But then she paused.
The sharp pain… was gone. Only a dull ache remained.
Dhruv leaned forward. “Does it feel better, bhabhi?”
Maya looked at Atharva, a genuine surprise flickering in her eyes.
“Yes… it’s better now.”
Suman smiled in relief. “Then shall we leave?”
Maya was about to answer—
but Atharva cut in firmly. “No. It will strain her foot.”
Maya immediately stood up in protest and took a few steps.
The pain was almost nothing now.
“I am okay. I’m going.”
Atharva’s jaw tightened slightly, but before he could stop her, Maya had already walked outside.
Soon, everyone began settling back into the cars.
The elders occupied the first two vehicles, their cars standing one by one..Behind them followed Veer and Dhruv’s car, with Priya and Anvi inside.
Atharva’s car remained last in the line.
Maya, still slightly conscious of the faint ache in her ankle, naturally started walking toward Anvi’s car, clearly intending to sit with them.
She had barely taken a few steps when—
Atharva’s fingers closed firmly around her wrist.
The sudden grip stopped her mid-step.
“You can't go with anyone,” he said quietly, but the authority in his voice left no room for argument.
Maya turned toward him, irritation already rising to her face, ready to protest—but before she could say a single word—
Atharva smoothly lifted her into his arms.
A soft gasp escaped her in surprise.
“Atharva—!” she started, half shocked, half annoyed.
But he was already walking toward his car, completely unfazed by her reaction...or the few lingering glances around them.
There was something infuriatingly calm about him… and dangerously possessive.
He opened the car door and settled her inside with careful ease, as if the entire act had been the most natural thing in the world.
The moment Atharva slid into the driver’s seat, the convoy of cars began moving out of the temple grounds.
Near the entrance, Nidhi stood watching them leave.
A polite smile rested on her lips as she lifted her hand in a small goodbye.
But the moment the cars disappeared down the road…
the smile faded.
Quietly, she turned—
and walked back inside.
On the way.
Maya finally broke the silence, irritation clear on her face as she turned toward him.
“What is your problem? At least you could have left me alone till the temple.”
Atharva said nothing.
His eyes remained fixed on the road, his expression unreadable, which only annoyed her more.
Maya crossed her arms, her voice sharpening.
“This is just like you… First do everything your way, and when someone asks, you just stop replying altogether.”
Atharva’s fingers tightened slightly on the steering wheel before he finally spoke, his tone calm but edged.
“I will reply… but on my terms.”
He glanced at her briefly.
“And anyway, you already made the mistake of not listening to me. So you’ll have to pay the penalty for that.”
Maya frowned, suspicion flickering in her eyes.
“What penalty?”
A slow, dangerous smile appeared on Atharva’s lips.
“I’ll show you.”
Maya stared at him for a moment, unsettled by the quiet confidence in his voice. Then, with an annoyed huff, she turned her face toward the window, choosing silence.
Atharva glanced at her from time to time……and then returned his focus to driving.
After a while, the convoy reached the temple.
The temple stood on a gentle elevation — a grand, ancient white structure that looked both majestic and serene.
Time seemed to rest quietly over its carved walls.
Outside, the area was bustling with life.
Small stalls lined the pathway — flowers, prasad, incense — the air filled with the soft fragrance of marigold and camphor.
Everyone bought prasad and began moving toward the stairs.
Maya stepped forward to climb—
—but suddenly—
Atharva’s arm slid around her waist.
Before she could react, he lifted her straight into his arms.
A collective pause followed.
Every gaze turned toward them.
Family members. Strangers. Vendors nearby.
The elders simply smiled knowingly and continued walking ahead.
Atharva, completely unbothered by the attention, began climbing the stairs one by one with steady ease.
Maya’s eyes widened in shock as she looked around at everyone staring.
“What… what are you doing?” she whispered harshly. “You don’t even feel shy in the temple, do you?”
Atharva didn’t even look at her.
“What’s there to be shy about? My wife’s ankle is sprained. So I picked her up.”
Behind them, Anvi and the others followed. Everyone was smiling—
except Veer.
Maya leaned closer, mortified.
“I can walk. Put me down. There’s no need to show off in front of everyone.”
Atharva’s hold only tightened slightly.
“Now I’ll put you down only at the top.”
Maya groaned softly in frustration.
“Please, Atharva… you may not feel embarrassed, but I do. And what if you drop me—”
Atharva finally glanced down at her, one brow lifting.
“You’re questioning my strength?” His voice dipped lower, teasing but dangerous.
“Forgot those nights already? After them, you can’t even breathe properly, let alone walk straight.”
Maya’s mouth fell open in pure shock.
“Haww… what kind of things are you saying in a temple!”
“You mean sex?” he said smoothly.
Maya squeezed her eyes shut in exasperation.
“God… shut up, Atharva!”
Atharva only smiled and continued climbing.
After struggling and whispering protests for a while… Maya finally gave up.
With visible reluctance — and a racing heartbeat she refused to acknowledge — she wrapped her arms properly around his neck to steady herself.
Atharva noticed.
His smile deepened… just slightly.
Within a few moments, they reached the top of the temple steps.
Only then did Atharva finally and carefully lower Maya back onto her feet.
Anvi finally reached the top step and bent slightly, taking a deep breath as she tried to steady herself. Her face was flushed from the climb.
“God… I’m exhausted,” she groaned. “Even these sixty steps defeated me. Jiju, how did you even carry her all the way up?”
Atharva didn’t miss a beat. A slow, knowing smirk tugged at his lips as his eyes briefly flicked toward Maya.
“Ask your best friend,” he said smoothly. “She can explain my strength in great detail.”
And just like that, he walked ahead.
Maya’s eyes widened for a second before she shot him a sharp glare, her cheeks warming in irritation — and something she refused to name.
“There is seriously something wrong with his brain,” she muttered under her breath.
Anvi blinked, confused. “Meaning?”
Maya quickly looked away, composing herself. “Nothing. Come.”
The group finally moved inside the temple.
A few steps behind, Dhruv nudged Veer lightly.
“You okay, Veer?”
Veer exhaled slowly, his expression carefully neutral, though something unreadable flickered in his eyes.
“Yeah, bro,” he said casually. “However things are… she’s still with us, right? Our Maya… bhabhi…”
The slight pause before the last word didn’t go unnoticed.
Dhruv looked at him for a second — and then both of them broke into quiet laughter, masking whatever had just passed between them.
Inside the temple, the atmosphere shifted into calm devotion.
Incense smoke curled softly through the air. Bells chimed faintly in the background. One by one, everyone folded their hands and began the worship.
Maya stood with quiet sincerity, eyes lowered, palms pressed together.
Right beside her—
Atharva.
But unlike Maya, his attention wasn’t in the prayers.
Whatever Maya did — folding hands, bowing slightly, taking prasad — Atharva simply repeated the same actions a second later, almost mechanically.
His gaze kept drifting back to her.
As if the temple, the crowd, the rituals—none of it really mattered.
After some time, the worship concluded, and everyone began heading back down the steps.
Just as Maya was about to move forward carefully on her own—
Atharva stepped beside her again.
Close. Intent. Unavoidable.
Maya immediately looked up at him, already knowing what was coming.
“Look,” she said quickly, trying to sound firm but reasonable, “if I have any problem, I’ll tell you myself. Please… let me walk down on my own now.”
Atharva studied her for a moment.
Then he gave a small nod. “Fine.”
For half a second, Maya relaxed—
until he added calmly,
“But you’ll walk with me.”
Maya stared at him in disbelief.
“God… you really can’t leave me alone even for one second, can you?”
Atharva’s lips faintly curved.
And he didn’t deny it.
Atharva leaned slightly closer, his voice dropping into a quiet warning that only Maya could hear.
“Right now, I’ll pick you up again,” he murmured. “That’s why I’m telling you nicely — just listen to me.”
Maya stopped mid-step and turned to him with an unimpressed look.
“Oh really? Then why don’t you just hold my saree pallu too while you’re at it?” she shot back sarcastically. “Stay properly glued.”
Without waiting for his response, she turned and walked ahead.
For a second, Atharva simply watched her retreating figure.
Then—
a slow smile spread across his face.
And the next moment… he actually reached forward and lightly caught the edge of her saree pallu from behind.
Then calmly… he started walking right behind her.
From the top of the stairs, the elders noticed.
One by one, their gazes met.
Soft, knowing smiles spread across their faces as they began descending behind the couple.
Unaware of any of this, Maya kept walking down while chatting with Anvi and Priya, completely oblivious to the fact that Atharva was literally following her… holding her pallu like an unbothered husband with zero shame.
Ahead, Veer and Dhruv were busy in their own conversation.
Then suddenly—
Priya’s eyes fell on Atharva.
For a second she froze.
And then she burst into loud laughter.
Maya frowned immediately. “What happened to you? Why are you laughing like this?”
Priya couldn’t even speak properly. She just pointed behind Maya.
Confused, Maya and Anvi both turned——and froze.
There stood Atharva.
Walking leisurely.
Smiling faintly.
Still holding Maya’s pallu.
Maya’s eyes went wide in pure disbelief.
“What— Atharva! Leave it!”
“No.”said atharva..
“Atharva… what are you doing? Are you a small child?”she flustered.
“Maybe.”he smirked.
Maya lowered her voice, now genuinely flustered as she noticed people staring.
“Please leave it… everyone is watching… everyone is laughing… please…”
Atharva’s expression didn’t change one bit.
“No means no.” His tone was calm but stubborn. “Either let me carry you… or let me hold the pallu. Choose one.”
Maya sucked in a deep breath, utterly defeated.
Without another word, she turned forward and resumed walking faster.
And Atharva… calmly followed behind her, still holding the pallu.
People passing by couldn’t help but smile at the sight.
Meanwhile, Maya was practically dying of embarrassment, her face half-hidden as she hurried down the steps.
But far away—someone else was watching.
Through binoculars. Eyes fixed sharply on them.
Unseen.
Unnoticed.
Maya quickened her pace even more, almost speed-walking down the remaining stairs while the others began falling slightly behind.
Up ahead, Veer and Dhruv finally noticed the scene too.
Dhruv let out a low whistle. “Bro is fully obsessed with bhabhi.”
Veer’s lips curved faintly, though something flickered deep in his eyes.
“Yeah,” he said quietly. “Maybe… I wouldn’t have been this obsessed.”
Dhruv immediately bumped his shoulder. “That’s why she deserves him — not you.”
Veer snorted lightly. “Oh really? So the problem is in me now?”
Dhruv grinned. “Not exactly… but bhai is bhai. We both come later.”
He slung an arm around Veer’s shoulder. “Come on.”
Veer walked beside him silently.
But inside—
"I’m sorry, Dhruv… for pretending in front of you. What do I do?
I still can’t reduce what I feel for her… not this quickly."
After some time, everyone finally left for home.
—
On the way back…
Maya sat by the window with a small pout on her face, deliberately looking outside and refusing to look at Atharva.
Atharva glanced at her for a few quiet seconds.
Then—
“What happened, biwi?”
Maya didn’t even turn. “Nothing. I don’t know what kind of man I got married to. You seriously have zero shame.”
Atharva’s lips slowly curved.
“What can I do?” he said smoothly. “You’re just too hot. I can’t stay away.”
That finally made Maya look at him.
Her expression softened just a fraction, though she tried to hide it.
“I’m not that much,” she muttered. “You just exaggerate everything about me.“But it’s a habit, right?” she said, lips pressing into a thin line. “You just have to show everyone that I am Atharva Raisinghani’s wife… so you’ll prove it somehow, no matter what.”
Atharva’s fingers tapped lightly on the steering wheel, completely unbothered.
“By the way,” he said casually, “you still haven’t paid your penalty.”
Maya let out a dry laugh, leaning back in her seat.
“Oh really? There’s still more left?” she shot back. “Go on then. Finish that too.”
A faint smirk touched Atharva’s lips.
“I will,” he said quietly. Then his gaze slid over her once — slow and assessing. “But you won’t wear a saree like this again.”
Maya blinked, caught off guard.
“Why? What’s wrong with it?”
Atharva scoffed softly.
“What’s right with it?” His tone turned deliberately provocative. “Your waist isn’t visible… no cleavage… not even backless… and full sleeves on top of that.” His eyes flickered with dark amusement. “How am I supposed to look at you improperly like this?”
Maya’s jaw dropped.
“What?? You— Oh my God!” she snapped. “We went to the temple, not a party where I should show my body! And just now you said I looked nice — and now suddenly so many complaints?”
Atharva shrugged lightly.
“I was lying.”
Maya stared at him in pure disbelief.
“How mean!”
Atharva’s gaze deepened.
“In this saree… only one thing is good,” he said slowly. “The rest is all bad.”
Maya folded her arms, clearly annoyed — but curiosity still slipped through.
“Oh really?” she challenged. “Then tell me, Atharva sir… what exactly is good?”
Atharva didn’t answer.
Instead—
he slowly pulled the car to the side of the road and stopped.
Maya frowned immediately.
“Why did you stop the car now?”
Without replying, Atharva reached across, unfastened her seatbelt in one smooth motion—
and the next second—
he caught her hand and pulled her straight into his lap.
Maya gasped softly, completely unprepared.
“Atharva… are you serious—”
But he had already settled her securely against him.
The car windows were fully tinted black. From the outside… nothing inside was visible.
Maya’s heartbeat picked up, equal parts nervous and flustered.
“Atharva… let me go,” she said, trying to sound firm.
Atharva’s fingers moved slowly into her hair, gently adjusting the loose strands near her face.
“You were asking, right… what’s good about this saree?”
Maya shot back quickly, though her voice had softened just a little.
“I’m not deaf. I could’ve heard you from there too. Now let me go.”
Instead, Atharva’s arm slid around her waist, pulling her closer until barely any space remained between them.
“Let me show you first,” he murmured.
Before Maya could react—
his hand moved lower along the drape of her saree.
Maya instantly stiffened.
She grabbed his wrist quickly, eyes widening.
“Atharva… don’t you dare even think about doing this.”
Atharva’s gaze darkened, unwavering.
“I’ve already thought about it.”
In one smooth motion, his hand slipped inside her saree, taking his fingers near her Between thighs , pulling her flush against him as his fingers moved deliberately, testing her resistance.
Maya’s breath hitched sharply.
Her grip tightened on his shirt as her eyes fluttered shut despite herself.
Atharva’s voice dropped to a rough whisper near her ear.
“This… is the only reason this saree is good.”
Maya’s voice came out soft and unsteady.
“Atharva… don’t… please…”
But Atharva only leaned closer, his lips hovering dangerously near hers.
“But your expression,” he murmured darkly, “is saying something else, heart.”
Maya’s breathing grew uneven, shallow.
Almost without realizing, she turned her face into the curve of his neck, her fingers clutching his shirt tightly.
Atharva’s hold on her tightened in response.
Maya’s voice trembled.
“At… Atharva… stop now…”
A low, rough breath left him.
“You’re becoming so wet, biwi…” he muttered, clearly affected. “And I’m enjoying it.”
And then he started moving his fingers Rapidly...
Maya tugged weakly at his shirt.
“Stop now…”
Atharva’s jaw tightened, eyes dark with challenge.
“Bite my neck,” he whispered near her ear. “Otherwise I’m not stopping today.”
Maya tried once more to push his hand away, to create distance—
but it was useless. Her breaths came faster. Uneven.
Shaky.
And finally—almost helplessly—
Maya leaned forward and bit into the side of his neck.
Atharva’s eyes shut instantly.
A sharp breath left him—and his hold on her only tightened further. He was inserting his fingers more intensely...
A few moments later, Atharva slowly withdrew his fingers and looked at them, his brows knitting together as a crooked smirk touched his lips.
Atharva (low, accusing): Look… what you did.
Maya’s gaze flickered hesitantly to his fingers. They were completely wet.
Her throat tightened. She quickly looked away, then reached toward the side drawer and pulled out a tissue, moving to clean his fingers.
Maya (soft, uneasy): I’ll wipe it…
Before she could touch him, Atharva pulled his hand back sharply.
Atharva (slow, teasing warning): An-ah… don’t… I will lick it all.
Maya froze.
Maya (shocked whisper): Wh-what?
Without breaking eye contact,
Atharva slowly brought his fingers to his lips and began to lick them—deliberate… unhurried. His eyes slid shut, and a dark, satisfied smile spread across his face, as if the taste itself pleased him far too much.
Maya immediately turned her face away, her pulse stumbling.
A moment later, Atharva inhaled deeply, bringing his fingers near his nose.
Atharva (voice rough with obsession): "Ah… God… your pussy smells so good, heart. I can kill anyone for this."
Maya shot him a quick, unsettled glance and immediately tried to stand.
Before she could move away, Atharva’s arm slid around her neck, pulling her sharply back toward him. Her breath hitched as their faces came dangerously close.
Atharva (quiet, demanding): I want strawberries now.
And before she could react—
He captured her lips.
Both of their eyes fluttered shut.
Maya didn’t resist… because somewhere deep down, she knew struggling right now would only make things worse.
After a few moments, Atharva pulled back just enough for their breaths to mingle.
Atharva (low warning): Kiss me back, heart… otherwise this will become very harsh for you.
Then he kissed her again—deeper this time.
Maya’s fingers curled helplessly. Despite herself… despite the chaos in her chest… she slowly began to respond.
Her makeup was already ruined. Her lipstick smeared onto Atharva’s lips, but neither of them stopped.
Seconds stretched.
Breaths tangled.
And then—
His phone started ringing.
Maya’s eyes flew open. Atharva was still kissing her, eyes closed, completely absorbed.
She stared at him for a heartbeat… then pushed lightly against his chest.
Maya (breathing unevenly): Stop… now.
Atharva opened his eyes and looked at her—long… unreadable… then gave a small nod and finally pulled away.
Maya inhaled deeply, trying to steady herself as she moved away from him.
Atharva’s gaze shifted to the car’s connected phone display. He picked up the call.
Atharva (flat): Hmm.
Dhruv (through phone, impatient): Bhai, where are you guys? Everyone’s waiting for breakfast!
Atharva (casual): You all start. We’re coming.
Dhruv (quickly): Come fast… And—
The line went dead.
Atharva had already cut the call.
On the other end, Dhruv stared at his phone in disbelief.
Dhruv (muttering, annoyed): This brother of mine… never listens to the full sentence.
He looked at the others and shrugged.
Dhruv: Come on, let’s eat. They’ll take time.
Inside the car, Maya’s heartbeat was still racing wildly.
She kept her eyes lowered, quietly fixing the pleats of her saree. Then she flipped open the small mirror and looked at her reflection.
Her lipstick was completely ruined.
Pressing her lips together, she began carefully wiping and fixing it with a tissue.
From the driver’s seat, Atharva watched her—slow, intent.
Then he started the car.
A few moments later, Maya had fixed her face… but her lipstick was gone.
Not once… not even once… had she met Atharva’s eyes.
Or maybe—
She simply didn’t want to.
And Atharva…Kept looking at her again and again.
A moment later, Maya slowly closed the mirror, her fingers still slightly unsteady.
Atharva’s voice came, smooth but pointed.
Atharva: "And what about the lipstick that’s gone? Everyone will figure out we did something."
Maya said nothing.
Her silence hung thick inside the car.
Atharva reached into his pocket, then extended his palm toward her.
Atharva (calm, commanding): "Put this on."
Maya frowned in confusion and looked down at his open hand… then back at his face.
Atharva: "This is the same shade you were wearing this morning, right?"
The surprise flickered clearly across Maya’s face.
Without another word, she took the lipstick from his hand and began applying it carefully.
As she did, Atharva subtly reduced the car’s speed—his movements controlled, deliberate—making sure the ride stayed smooth so her lipstick wouldn’t smudge again.
A few moments later, Maya checked herself in the mirror one last time, then shut it and turned her face toward the window, putting distance between them.
Atharva (holding out his hand): "Give me the lipstick."
Maya (dry, suspicious): Why? You want to wear it? And anyway, it’s mine… not yours. When did you even take this? I never saw you. And why did you even get it?
Atharva glanced at her, the corner of his mouth lifting slightly.
Atharva (low, shameless):" I already knew I was going to kiss you… so I took it. Now give it to me."
Maya shot him a sharp glare, her eyes flashing, but she still placed the lipstick in his hand.
Then she immediately turned her face back toward the window, clearly annoyed.
Atharva only smiled to himself.
Casually, he slipped the lipstick into his pocket… and pressed his foot on the accelerator, the car smoothly picking up speed.
