Louder biwi
At The Same Night
The mansion had grown quiet under the heavy blanket of night.
Inside his study, Atharva sat behind the large wooden desk, working through a few files on his laptop. The room was dimly lit, the warm golden light from a table lamp casting shadows across the walls.
He wasn't wearing a shirt-only a pair of dark lowers.
The bandage across his chest was still there, covering the long wound he had carved into himself earlier that day.
Despite the pain, his face looked completely calm as his fingers moved across the keyboard.
A few moments later...
The faint sound of heels echoed in the corridor outside.
Tak... tak... tak...
Atharva's fingers paused.
Slowly, he lifted his gaze toward the door.
And then he froze.
Maya was standing there.
Her arms were folded across her chest as she leaned slightly against the doorframe, watching him.
Atharva's eyes locked on her.
For a moment, he simply stared.
His pupils slowly dilated.
She was wearing a black embellished net saree that shimmered softly under the hallway lights. The blouse was sleeveless and completely backless, exposing the smooth curve of her back. In the front, the neckline dipped just enough to reveal a hint of her cleavage.
Around her neck rested a delicate white and green gemstone necklace. A matching bracelet shimmered on her wrist, and in her hand she held a small white embellished clutch.
The saree's pallu was left open, draped loosely over her shoulder, revealing the soft curve of her waist and stomach.
Her makeup was flawless, subtle yet striking.
Her long hair had been styled into loose waves and left open, falling elegantly over her shoulders.
Atharva's heartbeat started pounding harder.
He had seen Maya many times before... but tonight she looked devastating.
Almost dangerously beautiful.
His eyes seemed to forget how to blink.
As Maya slowly walked toward him, he instinctively looked away for a second-almost as if trying to control himself.
She stopped right in front of his desk.
"I'm going to a friend's reception tonight," Maya said calmly. "So either arrange a driver... send someone with me... or you can come yourself."
She tilted her head slightly.
"Because I'm going."
Atharva's gaze slowly travelled from her face... down to her cleavage then waist... and then back up again.
He suddenly pressed his hand dramatically against his chest.
"Aah!"
Maya's brows knitted together in confusion as she quickly stepped closer.
"What happened?"
Atharva leaned back in his chair, a mischievous smirk spreading across his face.
"Now it hurts," he said lazily. "You're looking deadly hot, biwi."
Maya stopped mid-step.
She rolled her eyes in irritation.
"Just tell me who's going with me."
Atharva stood up from his chair.
Without answering, he slowly walked around her in a circle, examining her from every angle like she was some rare piece of art.
Then he placed one arm around her waist and pulled her slightly closer.
"Who has the courage to stand beside you when you look like this?" he murmured.
Maya raised an eyebrow.
"So should I go alone?"
A small smile appeared on Atharva's lips.
"I'll come with you."
"Fine," Maya replied instantly. "You have twenty minutes. Get ready. We have to leave."
But before she could step away-
Atharva suddenly grabbed her waist with both hands and pulled her much closer to him.
Their bodies nearly collided.
He lowered his voice, his breath brushing against her cheek.
"But seeing you like this..." he murmured slowly, "my mind wants to do something else."
Maya narrowed her eyes.
"Like what?"
Atharva bit his lower lip slightly, his gaze darkening.
"I really want to fuck you right now, biwi."
Maya stared straight into his eyes.
"That's exactly why I didn't want to come in front of you," she said flatly. "But if I had left without telling you, you would've gotten another chance to act like a psycho."
She pushed lightly against his chest.
"So I had to come. Now leave me and go change."
Atharva, however, wasn't listening anymore.
His gaze had dropped again-to her lips... then to the faint curve of her cleavage.
"First let me control myself," he muttered.
Before she could react-
He gently moved her hair aside and suddenly bit into the side of her neck.
"Ah-Atharva! What are you doing?"said Maya
But he didn't stop.
For a few seconds, he kept kissing and biting along her neck slowly, almost as if marking her.
Finally, he pulled back.
His eyes moved to her lips.
Maya quickly lifted her hand toward him in warning.
"Don't," she said sharply. "I spent a lot of time creating this shade."
Atharva: Then do it again.
The moment the words left his lips, he leaned forward and captured her mouth in a sudden kiss.
Maya instinctively lifted her hands to push him away, but before she could, Atharva caught both her wrists and pinned them behind her waist.
Slowly... deliberately... he began licking and sucking her lips, taking his time as if he were purposely trying to erase the lipstick she had carefully applied.
His grip on her waist tightened slightly while he deepened the kiss, completely unbothered by her resistance.
A few moments later, he finally pulled away.
Atharva studied her face.
Maya stood there breathing heavily, her eyes lowered as she tried to steady herself.
Without warning, Atharva grabbed her hand and placed it over the bulge in his lowers. Basically on his dick..
"See what you did?" he murmured. "It's so hard... how am I supposed to go outside like this?"
Maya instantly pulled her hand away.
"Then control yourself," she snapped. "It took me one and an half hours to get ready. I'm not ruining it because of your stupid thoughts."
Before she could move, Atharva suddenly lifted her by the waist and placed her on top of the study table.
Maya gasped softly in surprise.
He gently pushed her legs apart and stepped in between them, standing extremely close.
His presence felt overwhelming.
Atharva looked at her with a slow, dangerous smile.
"I can do anything I want, heart," he said in a low seductive tone. "You know me, right?"
Maya swallowed nervously.
"Please..." she said quietly. "We're getting late now."
For a moment, Atharva simply stared at her face.
Then unexpectedly, he leaned forward and placed a soft kiss on her eyes.
Without saying another word, he turned and walked toward the bedroom.
Maya let out a long breath the moment he left.
"God... that was too close," she muttered under her breath. "Otherwise I would have had to redo everything."
She quickly slid down from the table and followed him toward the room.
Inside the bedroom, Atharva was already in the closet getting dressed.
Meanwhile, Maya stood in front of the dressing mirror, carefully applying concealer over the marks on her neck.
After that, she slowly fixed her lipstick again.
A few minutes later, Atharva walked out of the closet.
Maya, who was adjusting her hair, looked toward him-
And froze for a moment.
Atharva was wearing a suit that perfectly matched her outfit. His hair was neatly styled, his face carried a confident glow, and an expensive watch gleamed on his wrist as he adjusted it casually.
For a brief second, Maya's breath caught.
In her mind, a single word slipped out.
"Fuck."
She quickly looked away before he could notice.
Atharva walked toward her slowly.
"Now you're feeling the same thing I was feeling earlier... aren't you?" he said with a teasing smirk. "Hmm?"
"What... what rubbish?" Maya replied quickly. "Why would I feel anything like that?"
She immediately stood up and walked past him.
"Now come on. We're already getting late."
Without waiting for his reply, she quietly walked ahead toward the door.
A faint smile lingered on Atharva's face. He watched Maya walking ahead of him for a moment before following her out of the room.
When they reached the hall downstairs, Nidhi, Veer, and Dhruv were sprawled across the couches, completely absorbed in some game.
The sound of footsteps made them look up.
Maya and Atharva had just entered the hall.
Maya glanced around the room.
"Where are Mom and Dad?" she asked.
The moment the three of them looked at the couple properly, their mouths practically fell open.
Maya looked breathtaking in the black sequinned saree, while Atharva beside her looked just as striking in his tailored suit.
Atharva noticed their stunned expressions and shot them a warning glance.
"Don't cast your evil eyes on my wife."
The three of them instantly looked away awkwardly.
Maya frowned slightly.
"Where are they?"
Nidhi answered, still trying to recover from the shock. "They went to watch a movie."
Then she looked at them curiously.
"But where are you two going?"
Dhruv leaned back on the couch with a teasing grin.
"Yeah... where are you both going looking like absolute destruction?"
Maya rolled her eyes.
"It's my friend's reception. That's all."
Then she added while walking toward the door, "Anyway, when they come back, just tell them we might be late."
She had barely taken two steps when she suddenly stopped.
"Oh! My bag... I think I left it in the room."
Just as she turned around to go back, Atharva lifted his hand in front of her.
Her bag was already in it.
"You don't need to go anywhere, biwi."
Maya narrowed her eyes at him, snatched the bag from his hand, and walked ahead without another word.
Atharva simply smiled and followed her out.
Veer's gaze remained fixed on Maya until she completely disappeared from sight.
Dhruv nudged his stomach with his elbow and subtly gestured toward Nidhi.
Veer immediately looked away.
Dhruv cleared his throat dramatically.
"Nidhi... go bring some snacks."
Nidhi glared at him.
"Ask the servants. Am I your servant?"
Dhruv leaned forward lazily.
"Are you going... or should I tie your braid to the ceiling fan?"
Nidhi threw a pillow straight at his face.
"Idiot!"
Then she stormed off toward the kitchen.
The moment she was gone, Dhruv placed his arm around Veer's shoulder.
"What the hell were you doing? If she had caught you staring like that-"
Veer interrupted him with a careless shrug.
"So what if she did? I don't care."
Then he leaned his head back against the sofa, staring at the ceiling.
"Did you see how she looked today...? How am I not supposed to like her?"
Dhruv raised an eyebrow.
"And the man standing right beside her?"
Then he mimicked Atharva's deep voice.
"Don't cast your evil eyes on my wife."
Veer groaned and ran a hand through his hair.
"Man... shit... I'm falling for her more and more every day."
Just then-
"Falling for who?"
Both of them froze.
They slowly turned their heads.
Nidhi had returned and placed the tray on the table.
Now she was standing there, looking at them with narrowed, suspicious eyes.
Veer shrugged immediately.
"No one. Why do you care?"
Nidhi crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow.
"Oh really? Then what were you saying just now?"
Before Veer could answer, Dhruv jumped in quickly.
"He was talking about a celebrity. Don't try to understand things you can't. You just show up to create nonsense... you little lizard."
Nidhi stared at both of them for a moment, suspicion clearly written across her face.
But surprisingly, she said nothing.
She simply sat down and started eating.
---
On the road...
Atharva was driving, but his eyes kept drifting toward Maya again and again.
Maya knew it very well.
For a few moments she stayed silent, pretending not to notice.
Finally she sighed.
"Focus on driving, Mr. Raisinghani."
Atharva smirked slightly.
"But you're driving me crazy today... how am I supposed to look anywhere else?"
He sighed
"But don't worry heart..I will fuck u so hard today with my new style!"
Maya_New?
Atharva gave her a devilish smile and didn't say anything...
Maya inhaled slowly, clearly annoyed, and turned her face toward the window, watching the city lights passing by.
---
After some time, the car stopped outside a hotel.
It wasn't extremely grand, but it was elegant and uniquely decorated for the reception.
They stepped out of the parking lot and walked toward the entrance together.
Atharva was a well-known man in the city.
But tonight, the combination of Maya's breathtaking beauty and Atharva's commanding presence made them look like an incredibly powerful couple.
Maya's hand rested on Atharva's arm, while the other held a bouquet.
The moment they entered the hall, almost every pair of eyes turned toward them.
The hall shimmered under soft golden lights. Soft music floated through the air while guests chatted and laughed in different corners. The scent of fresh flowers and expensive perfumes blended together, creating a festive warmth in the atmosphere.
Whispers spread across the room.
On the stage ahead, the bride and groom stood greeting guests.
Suddenly-
"OH MY GOD!"
A girl rushed toward them.
It was Anvi.
She stopped in front of them, staring dramatically.
"You two... seriously! People at my friend's wedding are looking at you instead of the bride and groom!"
Atharva shrugged casually.
"That's not our problem, saali sahiba."
Anvi laughed.
"Yeah right, jiju. Anyway, come with me."
The three of them walked toward the stage.
Just then, the bride's parents hurried toward Atharva.
The father looked shocked.
"Atharva sir... you're here?"
Anvi and Maya looked at each other in confusion.
Atharva replied calmly,
"My wife's friend's reception here."
The father blinked in surprise.
"Maya? You are Atharva sir's wife? We had no idea..."
Maya was about to respond-
But Atharva interrupted.
"Mam. Maya mam. She is my wife."
The father looked embarrassed immediately.
"I'm sorry... forgive me. Maya mam."
Maya shot Atharva an annoyed glare before turning back to the man with a polite smile.
"No, uncle... please just call me Maya. It feels more personal that way."
Maya's father simply nodded his head in response, but standing in front of Atharva, he didn't dare gather the courage to address her directly as Maya.
Maya walked toward the bride with a gentle smile. The heavy silk of her saree brushed softly against the floor as she moved.
She handed the bride a bouquet.
Then she leaned forward and hugged her warmly.
A few steps away, Atharva stood beside Anvi, maintaining a slight distance. One hand rested inside his pocket while his sharp gaze remained fixed on Maya.
Bride: Madam, you became Mrs. Atharva Raisinghani... and for our gift you only brought a bouquet?
Maya tilted her head slightly, a playful spark in her eyes.
Maya: At least look inside first.
The bride frowned in curiosity and slowly checked inside the bouquet.
Her eyes widened.
Hidden within the flowers was a small blue box.
She immediately handed the bouquet to her husband and opened the box.
Inside were a pair of dazzling diamond earrings.
The diamonds sparkled under the lights, throwing tiny reflections across her face.
Bride: Oh my God... diamonds!
Maya crossed her arms with a teasing smile.
Maya: Now can you see the richness?
The bride squealed softly and hugged Maya even tighter, clearly overwhelmed.
Then Maya turned and greeted the groom politely.
Bride: At least introduce us to jiju too. I mean... he's already standing there, but his eyes seem to be only on you.
Maya slowly turned around.
Her gaze met Atharva's.
He stood there calmly, one hand still in his pocket, watching her with a quiet intensity that almost felt possessive.
Maya raised her hand slightly.
Maya: Come here, Mr. Husband.
Atharva's lips curved into a slow smile.
He walked toward them with effortless confidence.
Maya: So Tanu... you obviously know him already.
Tanu extended her hand forward politely.
Tanu: Hello jiju. How are you?
Atharva's eyes briefly dropped to her extended hand.
A second passed.
Then another.
Atharva: hello.
But he didn't shake her hand.
The moment grew slightly awkward.
Maya frowned lightly.
Maya: What are you doing? Shake hands.
Atharva was about to respond when Tanu suddenly laughed.
Tanu: It's okay, Maya. Jiju seems very loyal... and a bit touch-me-not type. Well, I'm impressed.
Then she looked at her husband and nudged him teasingly.
Tanu: See? Learn something and apply it.
Anvi burst into laughter.
Everyone around them relaxed again and the conversation continued.
Soon the bride's parents insisted Atharva sit in a special seating area and personally arranged the best food for him.
In one corner of the hall, Atharva, Maya, Anvi, the bride and the groom sat together.
They were chatting, eating and laughing casually.
But Atharva's attention wasn't really on the conversation.
His gaze kept drifting back to Maya.
To her eyes.
To the way her lips moved while she spoke.
To the delicate curve of her collarbone.
To the faint glimpse of her cleavage beneath the saree.
To the soft curve of her waist peeking from the folds of silk.
His eyes moved slowly... deliberately.
Yet so subtly that no one noticed he was staring.
Except maybe the tension growing inside him.
After a moment he inhaled deeply, almost as if steadying himself.
Then he picked up his phone and typed a message.
He placed the phone back on the table casually and looked at Maya again.
Maya's phone vibrated softly.
She glanced down and opened the message.
"Your lips are looking so juicy, biwi. Can I taste them?"
Maya slowly lifted her eyes toward him. He was watching her while biting his own lips...
Their gazes met for a brief second.
Then she calmly placed the phone aside and continued talking to the others as if nothing had happened.
Atharva's jaw tightened slightly.
He picked up his phone again and typed another message.
Maya glanced at him again before checking her phone once more.
And as she opened the new message... his eyes remained locked on her face, waiting for her reaction.
Maya glanced at her phone again.
A new message from Atharva flashed on the screen.
"Your boobs are making me uncomfortable… please let me suck them."
For a moment, Maya simply closed her eyes, inhaling slowly as if controlling the sudden wave of embarrassment and irritation rising inside her. Then she quickly typed a reply and placed the phone back on the table.
Across from her, Atharva casually picked up his phone.
"Fuck off!!!"
The corner of Atharva’s lips lifted into a faint, amused smile.
Without saying another word, he pushed his chair back and stood up.
Atharva: "Okay. Let’s go, biwi."
Maya looked at him in confusion.
Maya: "We are talking, Atharva."
Atharva tilted his head slightly, completely serious.
Atharva: You said “fuck.” Let’s go… I will do it.
Maya’s eyes widened in shock at his shameless reply. Her gaze instinctively shifted toward the others sitting at the table.
Rudra, Tanu and Anvi were all looking down, trying hard to suppress their laughter.
Completely embarrassed, Maya quickly stood up.
"Atharva! What the hell are you talking about? That’s not what I meant!"
Atharva shrugged casually.
"Whatever it means, biwi… now I can’t control it. Let’s go."
Before Maya could protest again, Atharva grabbed her phone and bag in one hand and firmly pulled her wrist with the other.
Maya lowered her head in embarrassment as he dragged her away from the table.
The moment they disappeared from sight, the remaining three finally burst into laughter.
Rudra leaned back in his chair, grinning.
"This is something worth learning."
Tanu immediately blushed and nudged him lightly.
"Rudra… you too."
Anvi made a face, clearly annoyed.
"Hello? I’m single, okay! Don’t do all this in front of me."
Tanu smirked.
"Then you should also find someone, sister. Just don’t disturb us."
Anvi rolled her eyes dramatically and walked away from the table.
Meanwhile…
Outside, in the quiet corridor of the hotel.
Maya finally pulled her hand free and turned toward Atharva.
Maya: "Are you serious? What was all that? What must they be thinking about us now?"
Atharva looked completely unfazed.
Atharva: "Where would you like to have sex, biwi? Room? Dark room? Bathroom? Pool… or somewhere open right here?"
Maya stared at him in disbelief.
Maya: "What? What are you even saying! I’m talking about something else and you—"
Atharva stepped slightly closer, his voice lowering with mischief.
Atharva: "You know what… let’s try it open. It will be wild and fun."
Maya looked at him as if he had completely lost his mind. The frustration, embarrassment and disbelief on her face only seemed to amuse him more.
And Atharva… simply watched her reaction with that same dangerous, playful smile.
Atharva takes her to the car, and within moments the two of them drive away, leaving everything behind.
Inside the car—
Maya turns toward him, clearly frustrated.
“Atharva… have you gone mad? What were you even saying back there?”
Instead of answering, Atharva presses harder on the accelerator. The engine growls as the car speeds through the empty road.
Maya tries to speak to him again… and again.
But Atharva remains silent, his eyes fixed ahead, his jaw tight.
Not a single word.
After a long drive, he finally steers the car toward the mountains that overlook the city. The road winds upward through darkness until he abruptly stops the car at the top.
The engine falls silent.
Maya looks outside in confusion, trying to understand why he brought her here.
Before she can ask anything, Atharva calmly removes his coat and tosses it inside the car. Then he walks around, opens Maya’s door, and gently pulls her out.
Maya’s gaze instinctively drifts forward.
And for a moment… she forgets everything.
The city stretched beneath them looked breathtaking.
Thousands of lights shimmered below like scattered stars, glowing through the darkness. Above them, thick black clouds crowded the sky, heavy and restless—like rain could fall at any second. The cool wind brushed against her skin, carrying the distant hum of the sleeping city.
Maya stands there quietly for a few seconds, lost in the view.
Behind her, Atharva silently turns on the video recording on his phone and places it carefully at the right angle.
Maya closes her eyes for a brief moment, taking a slow breath, then turns toward him.
Atharva watches her for a second before asking, a faint smirk touching his lips.
“Did you enjoy the view?”
Maya nods lightly.
“Ah… yes, but—”
Before she can finish, Atharva suddenly grabs her by the waist and effortlessly lifts her, placing her on the bonnet of the car.
Maya’s eyes widen.
“Atharva! Are you serious? Here?”
Atharva slowly pushes her legs apart and steps between them, standing close enough that she can feel the heat of his body.
“Of course, biwi,” he murmurs darkly.
“You should be thankful… that I managed to control myself back there in front of everyone.”
The intensity in his voice sends a shiver down her spine.
Maya opens her mouth to say something—but Atharva wraps his arm around her neck, pulling her closer.
“Now let me enjoy my view.”
And the next second, his lips crash against hers.
The kiss is intense, consuming, almost desperate.
For a brief moment Maya tries to resist… but then she gives up, gripping his hair tightly as she kisses him back with equal hunger.
Atharva’s hands wander while kissing her—sometimes brushing over her chest, sometimes pinching her waist, sometimes gripping her hips with possessive force.
The wind grows stronger around them, carrying the scent of rain.
Their kiss deepens.
Atharva suddenly takes Maya’s hand and presses it against his dick ,the hard tension of his desire, without breaking the kiss. His lips move against hers with even more intensity, as if he has been holding himself back for far too long.
Time seems to blur for a while.
Finally, after several breathless moments, Atharva pulls back slightly and lifts Maya’s face toward him.
Their noses brush against each other.
Both of them are breathing heavily… their breaths mixing in the cold night air, hearts pounding in the charged silence above the glowing city.
Atharva and Maya remain on the bonnet of the car, the cold wind brushing past them while the city lights flicker below like a sea of stars.
Maya breathes unevenly, still trying to steady herself.
“Ath… Atharva… let’s go home first.”
Atharva lifts his head slightly, looking at her with that same dark calm in his eyes.
“What’s the problem here, biwi?”
Maya glances around nervously. The mountain road is empty, the darkness stretching endlessly around them.
“Everything is open… If someone sees us…”
Atharva slowly leans back a little, studying her face as if her worry amuses him.
“It’s twelve at night,” he says quietly.
“And we’re this high above the city.”
He tilts his head slightly.
“Do you seriously think someone will come here?”
Maya bites her lower lip, still uneasy.
“And what if someone does come?”
Atharva gently brushes her hair behind her ear, his fingers lingering against her cheek.
“I’m here,” he murmurs.
“I’ll handle everything.”
Before Maya can say anything more, Atharva lowers his head to her neck. His lips brush against her skin before his teeth graze it slowly, deliberately.
A sharp breath escapes her.
At the same time, his hand slips beneath the folds of her saree. His fingers travel upward, slowly finding their place between her thighs.
Maya’s body jolts.
“Ahh—!”
Atharva’s voice comes out low and rough near her ear.
“Louder, biwi.”
His fingers begin moving faster, more deliberately, while his lips continue trailing along her neck with heated kisses and teasing bites.
Maya’s voice trembles as she looks up toward the dark sky, her breaths breaking into soft moans carried away by the wind.
The night around them feels wild and untamed… just like him.
After a while, Atharva’s lips move lower from her neck. Slowly, teasingly, they travel downward until he reaches her chest. He captures her breast between his lips, holding it firmly as he presses closer to her body.
Maya’s fingers tighten against the metal of the car.
“Please… be gentle… please…”
Atharva exhales softly against her skin.
“I’m trying, biwi.”
Yet the hunger in his voice betrays him.
He begins licking and lightly biting her sensitive skin, alternating between teasing and pressure, his control constantly slipping.
Just then—
Maya’s phone suddenly rings inside the car.
The sound cuts sharply through the heavy atmosphere.
Once.
Twice.
Three times.
But it doesn’t stop.
The phone keeps ringing insistently, vibrating against the seat.
Maya turns her head toward the car, slightly breathless.
“Atharva… there’s a call. Let me go.”
Atharva doesn’t even look up.
“No.”
He continues as if the world around them doesn’t exist.
“Let it ring.”
The phone keeps vibrating loudly in the quiet mountain air.
Maya gently pushes against his shoulder.
“It could be important too… please.”
After a moment, Atharva finally pulls away and straightens up.
For a brief second, his eyes flash with irritation at the interruption.
Maya quickly slides off the bonnet and steps toward the car. She picks up her phone from the seat and walks a few steps away, the cold wind hitting her flushed skin as she answers the call.
Maya glances at the phone screen.
“Anvi…”
Atharva lets out a quiet, irritated breath.
“God… this girl.”
He brushes his thumb along Maya’s waist. “Ignore her. Just come back.”
“Give me one minute,” Maya whispers.
But Atharva doesn’t move away.
Instead, while Maya raises the phone to her ear, he slowly leans closer again. His lips begin brushing softly against her ear… then along the delicate curve of her earlobe. Slowly, teasingly, he moves downward, kissing her cheek… her nose… lingering dangerously close to her lips.
Maya tries to steady her voice.
“Hello, Anvi.”
On the other end, Anvi’s voice bursts out immediately.
“How many times did I call you! Where were you busy?”
Maya glances sideways at Atharva, who is now standing so close that she can feel his breath on her skin.
“Ah… the phone was silent. Tell me… what happened?”
Atharva’s face is so close that he can hear every word clearly from the phone.
Anvi pauses for a second.
“Okay… but tell me something first. You’re alone, right? Jiju isn’t with you?”
Atharva’s movements stop instantly.
His eyes narrow slightly.
Slowly, he lifts his head and looks straight at Maya.
Maya frowns faintly, confused by Anvi’s question.
“Why? What is it?”
Anvi sighs on the other side.
“No, you tell me first. I waited this long to call because I thought by now you both must’ve reached home. If you’re not alone, then just move a little aside… it’s important.”
Maya looks toward Atharva.
But instead of stepping away, Atharva calmly takes Maya’s phone from her hand. Without saying a word, he switches it to the speaker and hands it back to her.
Then he gestures with his eyes.
Go on. Talk.
Maya hesitates for a second before speaking again.
“Ah… yes. I’ve moved aside now. Tell me… what happened?”
