Chapter 14 /Edited
I woke and found myself alone in the bed. I checked the time and it was four in the morning. I got up and took one of Eric's jackets. I left the room and started looking for him. I checked in the kitchen and around the house but couldn't find him.
I lastly went to his office but didn't find him. I went back downstairs and saw a door I have never noticed before. I walked towards it and opened it.
It lead me to a staircase going under the house. I went down the stairs and it seemed endless. As I got closer to the bottom it started to smell terrible. Like rotten fish. I got to the bottom of the staircase and saw another door with a small window on top.
I peeked through the window to see a dungeon. I tried to open the door but it was locked. I tall figure came out of one of the cell but it didn't look like Eric. He walked towards the door I was at.
I rushed back upstairs and quietly closed the door. I ran into another room and hid. I peeked through and saw it was Jonathan. He had a smirk on his face and walked out the front door. I took a deep breath of relief and was about to leave.
Someone pulled me back and put their hand over my mouth. I didn't recognise the guy but I followed his eyes to the back door. I saw Jonathan and more vampires surrounding the house.
What was happening? The guy gestured for me to stay quiet. He took me by my arm and lead me up the stairs. We got to the fourth floor and he took me back to Eric's room. "Alpha told me to keep an eye on you. You cannot leave this room." He said.
"Why?" I asked him.
"I cant tell you." He said. I gave him a serious face and folded my arms.
"I asked you why." I said in a more demanding voice. He sighed and made sure no vampires were here.
"He said that he told you about it and you told him to do it." He said. Well that's not confusing at all. That's when it hit me. The deal. He actually did it in one night.
"Ok. I am going back to bed." I said and the guy smiled.
"Im Paul by the way." He said.
"Blake." He closed the door and I just wanted more sleep. I took of the jacket and was about to climb back into bed when a cold hand covered my mouth.
"Scream and I kill you." He said. Was this seriously happening again. I know it only happened once but once is more than enough for me. I played along with his game.
"Walk." He said. I walked towards the balcony and the cold wind sent a shiver down my spine. No way in hell was I gonna freeze to death. I bit his hand, elbowed him in his stomach then in the sensitive area.
He held back a scream and I ran for the door. Just when I had the handle he pulled me back by my arm. "Paul!" I yelled. Paul ran in and attacked the vampire. I fell to the ground when the vampire let go of my arm.
Paul fought with the vampire and I left the room. I ran and hid in Eric's office. I closed the door and locked it. I hid under the small space in the desk. I am not that small guys.
I stayed under the desk and the place fell silent. For the first time I felt fear. The last time I felt fear like this was when I lost my dad. I got scared. I just wanted things to go back to normal.
I heared the door rattle. Someone was trying to open it. My heart started racing and it was getting hard to breath a bit. The rattling stopped but I was still scared. "Blake its me. Open the door." It was Eric. I jumped out of my hiding spot and opened the door.
I hugged Eric the minute I saw him. I held him tight as he hugged me back. "Are you ok? That vampire didn't hurt you right?" He asked. I nodded a no and he sighed in relief.
We walked back to the room and he held me tight until I fell asleep. When I woke up again, Eric was still there holding me in a hug. I tried to wiggle out but he had me in his arms tight.
I needed the bathroom. I slipped down and got out of his hold. I slowly slid out of bed but fell off with a thump. "Ouch." I said. Eric jumped up and looked at me. He started laughing and I pouted my lips.
"That was not funny." I said.
"What are you doing on the floor?" Eric asked.
"I was trying to get out of your hold and I fell ok." I said. I got up and ran to the bathroom. I did my business and went back out.
Eric went back to sleep and I sat on the bed. I looked at my phone and it was 9am. We slept in. "Eric. Dont you have things to do today?" I asked.
"Yes." He said and stayed in bed. I pulled the blanket off of him and he looked at me.
"Are you serious?" He asked me.
"I was supposed to meet the pack the other day." I said. He finally got up and walked into his closet. He threw me some of his clothes.
"Put that on." He said.
"Nope." I threw the clothes on his bed and went ot Penelope's room. I walked in and saw She was doing homework.
"You need clothes?" She asked with a smile. I nodded a yes and she ran into her closet. She pulled out a few outfits and placed them on her bed. "Ok. You like your my size. Dress or jeans?" She asked.
"Jeans." I said. She took out some outfits. I picked the one with the blue top. I got dressed and her clothes fit perfectly. "You pull that look off better than me." Penelope said.
"Im sure thats not true." I said.
"So when are you meeting the pack?" She asked.
"Im wondering that myself." I said. "I walked out before he could say. He did say he was going to be busy though."
"Eric is always busy." Penelope said.
"Im not always busy." We looked at the door to see Eric. "You can meet them on my birthday this weekend." He said.
His birthday's this weekend? "Really. Now I have to get you something." I said.
"No you dont." He said and walked away. He did say he was busy.
"I have to head home. I'll bring your clothes back later." I said.
"You can keep it!" She yelled as I left the room. I walked to out the front door and luckily Nate was there. I ran up to him as he was talking to someone.
"Well who is this pretty lady?" They guy asked.
"Wayne this is Blake. Luna this is Wayne." Nate introduced and Wayne's eyes widened.
"I told you to just call me Blake. I need a ride home. Can you take me please?" I asked.
"Sure. See you later Wayne." He walked to his car and started it.
"It was nice to meet you Luna Blake." Wayne said and left. I got into the car and Nate took me home.
"Nate. What does Eric like?" I asked.
"You." He said with a smirk on his face.
"Besides me." I said. It took him a minute before he answered.
"You in bed." He said.
"Bye." I slammed the door and went inside my house.
Nate is such an air head. I went to my room and the house looked empty. Mom probably went to work. I went into my closet and took out a navy blue tracksuit. I put on my black nikes and tied my hair in a high ponytail.
I grabbed my phone and headed out. I missed Celeste so I decided to pay her a visit. I walked to her pack and it took me two hours. I really need to get a car. I walked up to the house and knocked on the door.
Celeste opened the door and she had the brightest smile on her face. "Oh my god! Blake. It is so good to see you." She said.
"Its good to see you too." I said. We walked in and everyone was here.
Gabby, Leah, Jane, Jason, Liam, Derek and Shawn. They looked excited to see me but Jason looked annoyed. "Hi Blake." Leah said and hugged me.
"Hey Leah. So what have you guys been up to while I was gone?" I asked.
"The usual. Pack chores and duties." Derek said. I smiled.
"Why you smiling?" Shawn asked.
"Im just happy to see you guys. Its been a while. Maybe we should do another sleepover." I suggested.
"Hell yeah!" Jane yelled. We laughed at her excitement and Jason left. I followed him into the hallway and stopped him. "Hey. What's wrong?" I asked him.
"Nothing." He growled out and walked away.
Strange. I walked back to the others. "What's wrong with Jason?" I asked. They all looked at each other then back at me.
"Ok enough with that. You guys always look at each other then back at me. I just know your gonna say something I dont agree with." I said.
Celeste pulled me into another room and shut the door. "Ok. Jason has a really big crush on you and he wants to be with you." She said.
"But he knows I'm with Eric." I said. I started to get worried cause if Eric found out. That is going to be another fight and Eric and Jason aren't on good terms with each other already.
"Yes he does. Ugh. You need to talk to him alone so he can explain." She said. We went back to the others and decided to watch a movie.
