Ten Years Later
Briggs
Ilove doing the bedtime routine with the kids.
Reading stories to our three youngest and hearing all about the twins’ day is one of the highlights of my day.
But there are some times when I can’t wait for our five offspring to settle down and succumb to sleep, so I can get to my very favorite part of the day.
Being alone with my sweet wife.
Finally, after two stories, and three water glass refills, all five kids are tucked in and, if not already asleep, on their way to dreamland. I flip off the light in our little girl’s room and close the door softly behind me before taking the stairs two at a time to find Mia.
She’s in the kitchen, making sandwiches for the kids’ lunches. She looks up with a smile when she hears me. “Did they go down okay?”
“Sure did. The boys mentioned something about a frog in school…should I know about that?”
Mia shakes her head with a laugh. The twins, our eldest boys, keep her on her toes, as well as their teachers, and pretty much everyone else.
They’re good kids, but they do find themselves in more than their fair share of trouble.
“I took care of it,” she says. “Let’s just say that we owe Ms. Hayes an extra nice Christmas present this year. ”
There’s nothing to do but shake my head and make a mental note to talk to the boys about not taking amphibians into the classroom again. But that will have to wait until tomorrow because right now I have something very different in mind when it comes to how I want to spend the rest of my night.
Life with five children is a lot busier, and it’s harder and harder to find private time to sneak away together, but where there’s a will, there’s a way…and I definitely have the will.
I watch patiently while she finishes the sandwiches and puts everything away before I bring up the situation from earlier that day that I’ve been waiting to discuss with my wife.
When I clear my throat, Mia’s body tenses before she turns around to face me. Her breath is already coming faster. She knows what’s coming, and she’s been waiting all day, too.
“We have a little matter to discuss, wife.”
“We do?” She bats her eyelashes, trying to act innocent when I know she’s anything but. “What could that be?”
I press my hands on the countertop and stare straight into her eyes. “Do you remember taking my towel out of the bathroom this morning while I was in the shower?”
Her eyes glint with mischief, and she presses her lips together. “Oh? Did I?”
“You know you did.” I shake my head, my own grin threatening to slip across my face. “I had to run naked and wet down the hallway before the kids woke up.”
“I like you naked and wet.”
My cock thickens in my pants. “And I like you bent over my knee.”
My sexy little wife blows me a kiss and leans over the counter to press her lips to mine. “I was hoping you’d say that.”
