I met Mac the night I lost my apartment. What felt like the worst night of my life turned into one of those insta-love romance stories I hate, and had me reconsidering my stance against relationships. But then I found out he was the agent who sold my home to a demolition company. That, and the fancy watch on his wrist proved were from different worlds. So I did the logical thing.

I disappeared.

Or so I thought. My new home has a closet-sized room, my coworkers clutter, and a front-row view of Macs early morning strolls. Barefoot. Shirtless. Carrying just a cup of coffee while he wraps the whole neighborhood around his finger.

Im trying my best to avoid Mac at all costs, but the man is persuasive. Very persuasive. And when he suggested a casual fling, I couldnt help but agree.

But this feels nothing like casual, and I know Im the one whos about to get burned.
