Our wedding was exactly four weeks after Eli called my mom. He was right. She had been pissed, and then absolutely thrilled.
And she’d planned the most beautiful wedding I’d ever seen.
After the ceremony was over and the party was in full swing, he pulled me into his arms and swept me across the dance floor.
I never would’ve called myself a romantic until that moment.
It was absolutely perfect.
And it only got better when he leaned down and murmured into my ear, “You know you’re going to have to start introducing yourself as Vi Sky, now, right?”
I laughed so hard, my eyes watered.
Which made him laugh.
We were still smiling when we made our way off the dance floor. After an hour of congratulations, we finally got a moment alone again.
I whispered into Eli’s mind, “Think you can find some guy to take me home tonight?”
He chuckled, wrapping his arm around my middle. “I’ve got someone in mind.”
It was so, ridiculously cheesy…
But I loved it.
And I would never have wanted it any other way.
