Chapter Twelve #2
He grabbed my hip with one hand and slammed himself faster and harder until I became a moaning puddle of pleasure underneath him.
I’d never felt an orgasm build like this, but I was certain I was about to climax.
I screamed, “I’m coming,” and my pussy squeezed him as waves of the orgasm crashed into me.
He tensed and let out a loud throaty groan before slowing his hips and collapsing on my back, breathing like we’d just finished a 5K.
We lay there together for a minute before he finally pulled out and rolled off me.
I rolled over to face him and reached for his chest.
His skin was glistening with sweat and his chest heaving.
I let my eyes roam all over his body, appreciating every hard ridge that his chosen profession had created, and the ink that stood out against his light complexion.
He pulled off the condom and rolled off the bed to grab a tissue from his nightstand.
He wrapped the condom in it and tossed it in the garbage.
He pulled a towel off a shelf above his bed and poured water from a bottle onto it before climbing back onto the bed.
“Here,” he said, his hand hovering over my legs.
I spread them, my heart racing as he cleaned me up, doing possibly the most intimate thing he’d done tonight.
When he finished and tossed the towel aside, I expected awkwardness to fall between us.
I was lying in his bed, limbs weak and unable to move. Surely I should be getting dressed now.
He probably wants me to go, right?
He found his briefs on the floor and pulled them on before lying down next to me and pulling me against him until we were bare chest to bare chest. Am I cuddling with the guy I just fucked for feedback?
“So, tell me,” he said with a smirk. “Did you at least feel a spark? Maybe even a flicker of fire? Something to convince you that whatever your ex was doing wasn’t worth your time?”
How can I adequately describe what I just experienced? The all-consuming, fiery passion that wracked my body would make strangers wave sparklers and set off fireworks in our honor. That was what sex was supposed to feel like? That felt like an out of body experience.
“Speechless?” he teased, kissing my shoulder. “That’s happened to me before.”
I snorted. “I’m not speechless. I’m struggling to find words.”
He smirked at me. “That’s the same thing, Hawaii. Aren’t you an English major? I shouldn’t have to teach you the definition of without words.”
I laughed and buried my head in the crook of his neck. I mumbled, not wanting to look him in the eye as I confessed how much I’d enjoyed that. “I think you’ve adequately convinced me that nothing my ex could ever do would top that. I have clearly been missing out on what college has to offer.”
“You’ve at least been missing out on what I have to offer,” he said. “And as for the feedback, Hawaii, all I can say in summary is that your last boyfriend is a fucking moron. You are perfection. If the next guy you’re with doesn’t make you feel sexy and amazing, they’re an idiot too.”
“Thanks. Maybe I just needed a bigger dick to work with,” I joked, lifting my head to smile at him.
Leo laughed heartily. “Damn, Soph. You know how to make a guy feel good.”
I laughed and slowly started to wiggle free of his arms, not wanting to overstay my welcome.
I’d asked for sex, not a post-sex cuddle, and I didn’t want him to be annoyed if I came off like I was going to be attached to him now.
“Look, thanks for this. I know I’m incredibly awkward about the whole sex thing, but you handled this like a gentleman and I’m really grateful. Your reputation is clearly intact.”
He watched me as I rolled out of bed, the corners of his mouth dropping so slightly I almost missed it. “This was fun, Sophia. A lot more fun than anything I’ve done in a long time.”
I gave him a small smile as I started picking clothes up off the floor. I slipped my underwear on first.
“Thanks,” I said, shrugging into my bra.
“Can I just say one more thing?” he asked, looking uncertain for the first time since I’d met him.
“Pretty sure that’s the point.” I reminded him, pulling my jeans on.
“I meant every word I said tonight.” He swallowed and ran a hand through his hair. “You’re too good for anyone who doesn’t worship you in the way you deserve.”
My cheeks flushed again. “Thanks, Leo.”
“Don’t be a stranger,” he said as I made my way to the door, pulling my sweater over my head.
I reached for the door handle. “Don’t worry, I know what this was. I won’t try to call you, and I won’t wait for a call either.”
His eyes widened slightly. “Come on, Hawaii, we can be friends.” His teasing tone felt forced.
Yeah, right. He doesn’t want to be friends with me.
I let him off the hook with a joke. “My friends don’t usually make me come like that.” I pulled the door open and stepped through it.
“Then you need better friends,” he called after me as I shut the door between us.
I snorted.
I definitely needed better something. His comment about communication had struck a chord.
I’d never had that with Connor or anyone else.
I’d never been able to voice my desires or ask what someone else wanted.
Communicating with Leo during sex had been easy, sexy even.
I didn’t need better friends, but I did need communication like that with the next guy I invited into my bed.
