“Oh my god! You are so pretty!” I fawned over the most adorable little fairy princess of the night. With her dark hair and light green eyes, she looked like she could have stepped out of a magical forest.
“Tank you!” she giggled as she reached into the pumpkin bowl filled with candy, choosing her favorite before stepping away and waving goodbye. I smiled at her and waved to her mom before shutting the door.
“Happy Halloween,” I whispered as I rested against my door.
Victor or Daddy or Daddy Victor had indeed decorated his door. He’d gone all out with caution tape and an inflatable that stood next to a bowl of candy that had been propped up on a table, next to a huge, intricately carved pumpkin.
Unfortunately, I hadn’t caught even the tiniest glimpse of him despite the number of trick-or-treaters we’d had this year.
I glanced over at the bottle of wine and the plate of frosted apple cinnamon rolls sitting next to it.
I’d picked it up thinking I could just invite myself over after regretting not taking him up on joining me on my errands.
I was about to reach for them to do just that when the doorbell rang again, and I shook my head.
No, I wasn’t that girl.
I wasn’t going to invite myself over to try and snoop to see if my suspicions on Vic were correct.
Worst case, I had delicious apple cinnamon rolls for breakfast for the rest of the week.
I glanced at my reflection in the mirror next to my door.
My kitten makeup was still perfectly done.
I adjusted my kitty ears before grabbing the bowl of candy and opening the door to greet a group of trick-or-treaters.
By ten before nine, I was out of candy and had put a sign on my door saying as much. I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled. I thought my kitten makeup had held up well as I pulled the cat ears off and unplaited the French braid I’d plaited my strawberry-blonde hair in.
My thoughts went to my sexy neighbor. Not that they had stirred too far from him all night.
Every knock, I’d been certain it would be him coming over to say hi. To confess who he was. I smirked and shut myself at how stupid that sounded. What would I have even done had he done something like that?
The man had moved in next door a month ago, and I’d never spoken to him until yesterday.
For all I knew, since it was getting late, god only knew when I’d see him again.
I was pretty sure this morning, both of us leaving at the exact same time had been some kind of kismet-like coincidence.
It wasn’t like he was sitting around listening to every step I took.
The thought was so crazy, so unhinged, I giggled.
But reality set in, and I hated the deep disappointment I felt knowing I probably wouldn’t bump into Victor for a while. It wasn’t like we had exchanged information. Maybe I had been wrong thinking they were one and the same? Maybe it was just my poor hopeless romantic side glaring right through?
I grabbed my ears and put the headband back on, fluffing my now crimped hair before slipping my cell phone out and typing out a text to Daddy, who I was still convinced was my sexy neighbor.
Me: Happy Halloween! Were you able to make it home in time to give out candy?
I asked, snapping a picture with a smile and sending it to him.
Almost immediately, I watched three little bubbles bounce about before my phone pinged with a text. Daddy had mentioned having to wrap some stuff up on a work project and how he would probably not be able to
Daddy: Happy Halloween, Sunny girl. I did mostly. You look cute, kitten. A black kitty cat for Halloween is a classic.
I blinked and re-read the text. A classic. Just what Victor had said.
We had been texting throughout the day, and nothing had hinted that maybe I was right about Victor and Daddy being the same man, but now…
Me: What did you dress up as?
Daddy: My girl curious?
Me: About Daddy? Always.
Honesty was the best policy when it came to the man who had seriously gotten under my skin.
So much I was hoping that there was some kind of chance my hot neighbor and him were the same person. Maybe I had heard what I wanted to hear? My text was read, but no bubbles instantly popped up, so I walked into my bedroom.
In there was the cute little schoolgirl costume I’d ordered to dress up in for my late-night webcamming. The white blouse was skintight and buttoned up to a Peter Pan collar like any other private school would wear.
But the skirt?
That’s where the costume was more different than anything I had ever seen before.
It was a pink and black tartan plaid skirt with a little frilly ribbon at the hem that just happened to fall to mid-thigh.
It wasn’t outlandishly in-your-face skanky, left a smidge of something to the imagination yet was still hot as hell.
Therefore, the perfect thing to wear to work on Halloween.
“Why’d you say you had to work!” I chastised myself as I changed out of my black bodysuit. I could have hung out with Victor longer and listened to the deep timbre of his voice a little more to make sure and figure out if, in fact, he was Daddy.
“It’s probably just another coincidence,” I murmured to myself as I changed into the new costume. “One of many in a long line of them.” I glanced at myself in the mirror and tilted my head.
That was a lot of coincidence, though, wasn’t it?
Too many to have out it on the world being smaller than we think?
“Stop!” I groaned to myself. “Stop trying to make it more than it is. Victor is not Daddy, and Daddy is not Victor. He can’t be!” But even saying it out loud didn’t help wipe away the feeling I was just trying to lie to myself when I knew the truth.
I sighed as I stared at myself for a moment.
Still with my kitten makeup and ears but dressed up like a schoolgirl didn’t look too bad.
The dark kitten whiskers painted across my face, the tip of my nose still painted black.
My red-painted lips needed a refresh, but nothing major.
I was kinda tired and really didn’t feel like washing it all off only to reapply my makeup.
“Maybe I should do schoolgirl kitten instead of washing off my makeup?” I asked my reflection and shrugged. “Fuck it,” I whispered even though I was all alone in my place.
Why not? I wondered and shrugged. It could be a nod to my hot neighbor. It wouldn’t be as if he knew he had inadvertently inspired me.
It’s a classic for a reason. Victor’s words replayed in my head, and my eyes fluttered shut.
If I tried hard enough, I could feel Victor’s body heat next to me, the way his lips hovered over the shell of my ear, his warm minty breath against my skin.
My nipples beaded up tightly, and wet need coiled low in my belly.
But I ignored it.
I had to finish getting ready for tonight’s cam sesh. I could always recall the memory of my neighbor when I pulled out my favorite vibrator later. It wasn’t like I didn’t have enough material to get off on between Victor and Daddy’s dirty words from the last time we’d spoken.
I hadn’t mentioned working to Daddy V, but then again, he hadn’t mentioned wanting a one-on-one video chat tonight, either.
I left my bathroom and walked into the second bedroom I used as a home office and started on the nightly routine of turning on lights, adjusting cameras, and turning my laptop on.
Once I was all logged on, I waved cheekily at the early birds and decided tonight’s show would go a little longer.
What was the point of tossing and turning to thoughts of Daddy and who might be fighting for a spot against what it had felt like to have Victor hold me in his arms and whisper roughly against the shell of my ear?
I might as well play out tonight’s session long and hard.
Maybe edge myself into a drooling needy mess while cashing in a little longer with the subscribers watching before getting myself off like a good girl?
My phone pinged in the bathroom, and I knew by the sound I’d chosen specifically for Daddy that he had responded.
But I didn’t go get it.
I stayed in my office and let those early birds watch me finish getting ready before the show. I’d done this before, let my subscribers watch as I got ready for the night as a free little preview of what was to come. Most of my regulars enjoyed it.
I sat down on the edge of the bed, subtly sneaking glances at the cameras around the room as I slowly pulled a white knee-high sock up one leg.
I kept thinking about Daddy watching even though he wasn’t on the list. How his appreciative gaze on me would feel like a soft caress.
How proud he would be seeing me all dressed up and ready for a good time.
Any time I’d imagined him, I’d pictured a faceless man in my head.
One that suddenly looked a lot like my sexy and mysterious neighbor.
I straightened and undid one more button before working on pulling the other knee-high sock up my leg.
The number of people joining started to go up, and I was pretty happy with myself.
I had come a long way from when I’d started camming.
Where before, I’d be lucky I caught the attention of ten subscribers, now I had just under a thousand in a last-minute show with the numbers steadily rising.
Once my socks and five-inch Mary Jane platforms were on, I stood up and twirled in front of the camera.
“Happy Halloween to all you ghouls and goblins!” I said to the camera once the chat started. I had over thirty people in there, mostly men, most of my usuals but not Daddy.
I knew this was a surprise stream but figured he might log on. Maybe Daddy V had someone new to watch? I shook the thought away and bit down on my lip, pushed my arms together, squeezing my breasts together to give an even better sneak peek at my cleavage.
“Since tonight is all about dressing up and being someone else,”—I twirled a strand of my hair around my finger—“I thought I’d give you guys a special treat tonight!”
