Chapter 23 #2
I look at her curiously. “What’s Billionaires Valley?”
“I’ll tell you later,” she says with a smile.
I hand her the drink that Preston made for her, and we sip.
“I want to make love to you,” I say under my breath.
“Well, not right here,” she says, giggling.
“I don’t suppose you want to go into the ocean again.”
“You don’t suppose right,” she says. “I want to make love in your bed with sheets and pillows and no sand in my butt. I don’t want to smell of salt afterward.”
I laugh as I touch her face. “I don’t mind what you smell like.”
“Well, I don’t want to be scratchy and itchy, and I want us to wake up tomorrow together, and I want …”
“What? You want to see my face in the morning?”
“Maybe,” she says, blushing.
“Good, because I want to see your face in the morning, and I want to make you pancakes and bacon and fresh coffee and learn how you like your eggs and do all the things that new couples do.”
“Are we really going to go to Paris for our third date?”
I grin at her. “Five days, and I booked a really nice hotel, and I got us tickets to see Versailles, and I also booked us dinner near the Eiffel Tower.”
“You did all that already, but …”
“But what?”
“When? How?”
“As soon as I realized that you were the one and I wanted to make each date more and more special.”
“But if our third date is in Paris, what will the fourth date be?”
“I don’t know. Maybe you can plan that one.”
“You want me to plan a date?” She giggles.
“I mean, you don’t have to. I’m more than happy to plan as many dates as you want.”
“I have an idea for when,” she says, grinning. “But I’m not going to tell you yet.”
“Ooh, a surprise, huh?”
“You said you like surprises?”
“I do when they involve you.”
I lean down and kiss her on the lips, my hands snaking around her waist as I bring her in closer to me.
“I love you so much, and I want to be inside of you right now.”
“Well, that’s good because I kind of want to feel you inside of me right now too.” She giggles. She grabs my hand and pulls me to the side. “Come with me.”
“I thought you didn’t want to make love at the beach.”
“I don’t. I don’t want to be in the sand.”
But she pulls me down toward the tall coconut trees, and then we head toward Salty Pages.
“Where are we going?”
“You ever had sex in a bookstore?”
“Really?”
“Really?” she says as she opens the door, and we head inside.
She locks it behind her and stares up at me. Her brown eyes bright.
“We cannot tell Mia about this, and we have to be careful because I don’t want to knock all the books over, but lift that skirt up, and let’s get to town, baby.”
“I don’t know about that,” she says as she bends over. I growl as I stare at her possessively. This lady is mine, whether she knows it or not.
I slide her skirt up and slip her panties down. I rub my fingers against her clit. She’s already wet and waiting for me.
“Fuck,” I say as I unzip my pants and pull out my cock.
She leans over a small little table that’s attached to the wall, and I pick her up slightly. I lower myself and guide my cock to her entrance.
“Are you sure?” I whisper. “It’s just going to be fast and dirty.”
“Maybe that’s what I like,” she says, giggling.
“You don’t need to tell me that twice,” I say.
I slip my cock past her silky folds and push inside of her.
I thrust deep, fast, and hard, and she cries out as I grab her hips and slam into her. She moans as I bounce against her ass and run my fingers between her legs. I gently rub her clit, and I can hear her screaming louder and louder.
“Oh fuck,” I say as I can feel myself close to coming.
“Oh my gosh, please. Rafe, don’t stop.”
I go faster and faster until I explode inside of her. She’s breathing heavier and faster. I rub my fingers urgently against her clit, and then I feel her exploding.
“Oh my gosh,” she screams as her body shakes.
I slide out of her and turn her around and kiss her, ravishing her face. She wraps her arms around my neck and holds on to me for dear life.
Both of our bodies spent.
“That was amazing.” She grins. “I can’t believe we just had sex in my mobile bookstore.”
“Well, it is a romance bookstore after all.” I laugh. “Some romance should be happening here.”
“I guess so,” she says, grinning. “I love you, Rafe.”
“I love you even more, darling, forever and ever. Also, now don’t hate me, but I did something.”
“You did what?”
“I contacted a bunch of different vets that I know, and they’d like to place orders for some books from you just for their veterinary offices for when their clients wait.”
“What? You shouldn’t have done that, Rafe, if I didn’t need you to do it.”
“You need an income. You weren’t going to take a loan. I wasn’t going to let you struggle, and you’re no longer going to be on that reality dating TV show. So, I figured two hundred different veterinary offices placing orders should help out a little bit.”
“Are you going to help me fill the orders?” she says, gaping at me. “Two hundred is a lot.”
“I will help you all day, every day. Don’t you understand, Juniper? I’m your ride or die. I will always be here for you, loving you, protecting you, caring for you. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for you. You are my everything.”
