Chapter 8
Chapter Eight
Ella
“Yeah baby, work it. Harder. Oh yeah. Just like that. Give it to me. Feel the burn. Hell yes!”
Water aerobics.
Under normal circumstances, this is the only thing that really ever cools me down. A fun activity that doesn’t produce buckets of boob sweat and doesn’t involve too much movement.
But it’s not cooling me off right now. I don’t think anything will be able to cool me off ever again.
These ladies are always needling me about finding a nice boy to go out with. They’d be clutching their pearls right now if they knew that I was imagining my dad’s best friend’s big dick fucking my tight virgin pussy for the first time.
I try to focus. I really do. My job is to keep these women from falling, drowning, and getting bored. But my body is still buzzing in the aftermath of having my dad’s friend’s mouth on me.
There are footsteps and a rustle of the breeze approaching the pool. All eyes leave me and settle on Cole, striding past the pool with purpose, that fierce, beautiful look on his face meant only for me.
If my phone hadn’t beeped back at the beach, telling me it was time for water aerobics, I don’t know what would have happened.
The ladies wave, and his eyes flicker to them as he gives them a tight-lipped smile and a small wave. Then his eyes go back to me, and I wade to the edge of the pool.
“Class dismissed. No swimming without a lifeguard on duty!” I shout, hoisting myself up the metal ladder, the chrome handles stinging my palms. I yell over my shoulder. “Rain check. Tomorrow. Promise.”
I pull on my dress that’s draped over the back of a chair and slip my feet into my flip-flops, all while Cole watches me from the motel entrance.
“How may I help you?” I say as I walk past him, all business.
He follows me into the lobby and I slip behind the front desk, trying to look like he’s just any regular guest. Delia is scrolling on her phone.
She’s so gorgeous with her platinum blonde hair and bright green eyes, but Cole only has eyes for me.
“I need more towels sent to my room,” he says, a faint hint of a smile showing through.
“Right away, sir,” I say, my cheeks blushing. “I will have those sent up to you as soon as possible.”
“I was hoping you could hand-deliver them to me.”
“Of course,” I say deferentially, again like he is just any random guest. “I will just be a minute.”
I wonder if Delia has any idea of what’s going on. She’s standing right here, but
She made me buy that sexy bikini on my 21st birthday. She’s been trying to get me “laid,” even though I knew it would never be a casual thing for me. I bought it reluctantly, rolling my eyes and pretending to scowl at her as they rang it up at the counter.
I didn’t realize that I’d been saving it for Cole, but now I know.
“Please don’t keep me waiting long.”
I swallow thickly and nod.
“Right away, sir.”
He walks away, shooting a hard-jawed look at me before turning the corner.
Does he know that I’ve been waiting for him? That I’ve been keeping that bikini in the back of my closet since Delia made me buy it?
She has been trying to get me “laid” for a while now, and I’ve just been rolling my eyes at her the whole time. She finally forced me to buy that bikini, and I rolled my eyes just as hard at her when I handed over my $40 to the person behind the counter as they rang it up.
But I wasn’t just rolling my eyes at Delia. Inside, it was a different story.
The girl who helped me find the right one seemed annoyed with me the entire time. I knew what she meant when she said she “might” have one “in my size” while she smirked at me.
I’m not the skinniest girl in the world. I have a curve to my stomach and my ass is thicker than average. It was as though I was offending her by buying something that would show off the curves that she scoffed at.
But now that Cole has seen it and seems to love it? It was worth the eye rolls from that saleslady.
So fucking worth it.
Cole likes it, and that’s all I care about. His is the only opinion that matters.
I’m in a blissful daze as I go into the supply closet and grab a few towels.
Pretending he’s just any guest is thrilling. We’re running around with this secret no one else knows about. I don’t know how many bathing suits he’s going to ruin today.
Having him tell me what to do and giving me orders is making me glow.
I love taking care of people, but I want him to be the only guest I take care of.
He’s my VIP guest.
I want to take care of him all night. I’ll switch the sign on the door from “vacancy” to “no vacancy” to let everyone know that we’re out of space. At full capacity. There are no more rooms left at the inn.
There’s no room for anyone else in my heart.
My heart belongs to Cole.
And I want to give him so much more…
