“All the things I want to say
They're not coming out right
I'm stumbling over words,
You got my mind spinning”
You and me — Lifehouse
You know when you spend the whole week feeling like everyone is avoiding you, or hiding something? So this has been me since the boys got back from the speedboat ride. And today is Saturday morning. However, the only thing that I didn't find strange, on the contrary, I was grateful for, was Noah being swamped with meetings this week, so I was able to work on the Katherine Foundation project with a lot of focus and, of course, with an incredible mini helper.
I discovered, throughout the week, that Tyler has an incredible gift for architectural drawings and a surprising interest in the subject. As a drooling and proud mother, I continued giving tips and teaching some things.
The house is in an agonizing silence, I woke up and Noah had just left a rose with a note on the pillow, saying the following:
“ Tyler and I took a break, we'll catch you later.
Love, your boys. “
So far, so good. As it's Saturday, they may have gone for a walk, however, on the kitchen counter, I find another rose, with another note and a delicious tray with breakfast.
“ My girl, drink your coffee and enjoy today, soon I will return for a girls' day, together with the girls.
With affection, Yolanda. ”
If I had any suspicions, now I am absolutely sure that they are up to something, but I just enjoy and indulge in these treats, leaving them to investigate later.
After getting everything organized, I decide to take a walk around the garden and, instinctively, I look for some roses. I think I'm enjoying this whole suspense. Bingo! On top of the sun lounger, next to the pool, there is another one.
“ Dear daughter—in—law, in your closet there is a bag with some items you will need, use them and then head to the pool house.
Love, Norah. ”
Like lightning, I take the rose and the note, heading to the kitchen and taking the other one, I go straight to my room. I leave them with the one my boys left and go to the closet. On top of chaise there is a beach bag, with another note:
? “ Take a relaxing bath, put on that lingerie and bathrobe, we will be waiting for you for an unforgettable day.
With affection, mom. ”
Wow! Wow! What are they up to!?
My cell phone vibrates with a message as I enter the bathroom, leave my bag on the counter and open it.

Bear: Hi sis!
I arrived a little while ago,
I will find you later.
Longing.
Noah: Ahh! Miss you too!
Where will you meet me?
Just for curiosity...
Bear: You'll soon know.
Until later.

I can't believe that he is hiding something!
Calm down, Nina, don't freak out!
Even so, the curiosity bug is leaving me intrigued!
I did what Dona Vic asked and spent a long time admiring myself in front of the mirror. The lingerie is beautiful, all in white lace and, honestly, it leaves very little to the imagination. I thought about sending a photo to Noah, but first I need to find out what they're up to.
As I get close to the pool house, I hear the excited voices of the women who are part of my life: Mom, Sarah, Iolanda, Norah and Lynn.
— Is it now that you are going to satisfy my curiosity? And just so you know, aren't men around here? — I question. — It would be a bit embarrassing if I ran into my father—in—law, dressed like that, don't you think?
— Daughter! Breathe! Today it's just us here. For now,” Mom says.
— How much suspense is this?
— Today is your wedding! — Lynn speaks and we all look directly at her. — What? She wasn't going to calm down until she found out.
— W... How?! Noah didn't tell me anything! And we're already married! Okay, no ceremony and all that, but that doesn't matter to me.
— It turns out, my girl, that he had been organizing this for a while. So, now sit here and we will produce you. — Sarah warns.
— And do I, by any chance, have a dress? Because, honestly, I don't remember choosing one! — I inform, curious.
— Tyler went with me to choose the dress — Norah says. — And to have the measurements, we took your long hidden red one. — Smile.
— And when and where will this wedding take place?
— We only have a few hours to get you ready and ready ourselves, and you'll see the location when we arrive — Iolanda responds.
— Okay, okay! I'm selling which they won't tell me anything more about.
The uproar takes over the place. Lynn grabs a few glasses of champagne , distributing among us and we start production.
Three hours later, it's time to see my dress, the one I will keep forever, considering it was the first gift I received from my son.
— Ready? — Mom asks.
— Yes. — My heart flutters with anxiety.
She takes out, from a beautiful box, a beautiful white dress, tight and lace, with a sweetheart neckline and thin straps. On the back, there is a U—neckline, highlighting all its details and a medium—sized train.
— Say something, woman! — Lynn asks, flustered.
— It's beautiful! Perfect! — I feel my eyes moisten.
— No crying, we don't have time to touch up our makeup — Norah informs.
— Let's get her dressed — Iolanda says.
The result when I see myself in the mirror is impactful, I feel like a modern princess. The light makeup, my hair tied in a side braid, with a few strands loose, give the dress an angelic look. sexy .
— Wow! — I exclaim.
— Not yet — Mom warns. — Here, something blue and borrowed. The barrette that belonged to your grandmother. — It attaches to my hair, making a beautiful contrast with the necklace I got from Noah and never took off.
— Here's your old something. — Norah hands me a ring, which has a blue stone in its center. — It was Grandma Foster's. Noah had already separated it to give her as an engagement ring.
— It's beautiful. Thanks. — Hug her.
— Here, your something new. — Sarah hands me a delicate bracelet, with an angel wings pendant. — Beni bought it for you.
— But didn't he just arrive today?
—Yesterday, actually, but I wanted to surprise you, so I didn't say anything. — He blinks, asking for secrecy.
— Thank you for everything you did for me! You are very special. In fact, all of you!
— I'll tell Logan to prepare the team, we're already on schedule — Norah warns. — And here, your bouquet. Tyler chose sunflowers, he said they represent happiness.
— This way, my makeup won't last. How beautiful he is! — My mother hugs me.
— He is certainly with us today, my daughter.
Minutes later, my eyes are blindfolded and I feel like we're doing some random turns so I don't find out where we're going.
— We're here, miss, just wait a moment, I'll be right there to help you. — Logan let me know.
The minutes seem to turn into days rather than hours, my hands are sweating cold, and when I think about removing the blindfold, the door opens.
— I'll remove the blindfold from you first, and then I'll help you down.
— Okay — I agree.
My heart skips a beat when I see a mini prince waiting for me outside.
— Hi mommy. — Ty says embarrassed and I want to stop time, to immortalize these words.
— Oh my God! — As soon as I can get down, the big hug. — I love you so much, my little one. You called me mommy. — He doesn't respond, he just returns my gesture.
— Yeah, I'll walk you to dad.
— Has he ever heard you call him that?
— No, I was ashamed, but Grandpa Jack talked to me a lot today and said that, if I felt good, I could talk, because I feel like your son.
— And you are, never think otherwise. Yes well, my little one?
— Uhum, now we need to go, otherwise he's going to make a hole in the floor, he's so nervous.
I smile, because he really reminds me a lot of Noah.
