5. Charisma Rae Jones #2
Glancing over my shoulder, I saw a light-skinned ho standing there in a black minidress and stilettos. I smiled at Kalm before bending forward to whisper in his ear. “You want me, or you want her?” I bit my lip as I continued to dance as if she wasn’t even there.
He hooked my chin and pulled me forward until his lips brushed softly over mine. My clit thumped against the thin fabric of my floss, thirsty for some attention, while my pussy leaked in awe. “You.” That one word was satisfying to hear and felt like fire licking up my spine.
Turning back to the girl who still stood there with her arms folded over her chest, I said, “He’s busy.”
Flipping around, I continued to put on a show for Kalm, who continued to toss money in the air that rained down on me.
He looked so fucking powerful and magnetizing with his glass of dark liquor that he sipped every now and then.
“Bitch, get your thirsty ass the fuck away from my man,” the girl said.
She just didn’t know I had so much pent-up anger and was looking for someone to take it out on.
She barely had the words out before I decked her right in the mouth.
She swung back clumsily, but I dodged it and got her a few more times.
Kalm hopped up quickly to wrap an arm around my waist and pull me back into his chest. “Chill, Pretty.” He laughed from behind me.
“You’re wild as fuck. That girl don’t mean nothing to me. ”
Turning around to face him, I said, “Let another ho approach me, and I’m going to black your eye next.”
He held his hands up in surrender. “I don’t want no problems, Rizz. Sound like you hit hard as fuck,” he joked. We both knew he had no true fear of me and could absolutely beat me to a bloody pulp if he wanted to.
I balled his jersey up in my hand. He obviously heard the name from when I was introduced before my set. “What did you call me? Don’t call me that ever again.” I frowned because the sound of my nickname falling off his lips made my ears itch.
“Rizz,” he repeated, challenging me. “What you want me to call you then?”
I gave him an icy glare. “You know what to call me. Just know Rizz ain’t it.”
He pulled my face closer by my chin. “Hmm, so you like when I call you Pretty, huh?”
I got ready to respond when I heard Bryaire behind me. My entire body went stiff, knowing he was so close to me. “Hey, I need to talk to you.”
Ignoring him, I started to dance on Kalm. “I’m busy,” I replied without even glancing in his direction.
He reached for my arm and snatched me toward him. “Rizz, don’t play with me. Bring your ass on.” He attempted to drag me away, but Kalm wrapped an arm around my waist, and I was so thankful he refused to let me go.
I glanced up at Kalm, and it was like he could read my expression or something because his grip tightened. “She not going nowhere with you, nigga,” Kalm replied. “Let her go.” His voice was dangerously low, and it seriously turned me on.
I high-key wanted Bryaire to jump stupid so Kalm could make him swallow a tooth or two.
Bryaire turned toward Kalm with his top lip curled and looked him up and down.
Bryaire wasn’t a little nigga, by far, but when compared to Kalm, the heavyweight, he was a tiny man.
“Aye, I don’t know who the fuck you are, but mind your fucking business when it comes to this one. ”
One second, I was standing between them, and in the next, Kalm had tucked me behind his back.
I felt so safe with him shielding me from the man who I thought I could trust. “I’m her man, so she is my business.
If you know what’s good for you, you better walk away while I’m giving you the chance to. ”
Even though his voice was steady, I had a feeling that it wasn’t revealing how angry he was.
I could hear Bryaire laughing and peered around Kalm to see him still standing there.
When he noticed me looking, he directed his attention to me.
“Really, Rizz? You think this nigga going to protect you? Don’t forget how I had you the last time I got you alone.
” His eyes held a sinister and sick gleam that terrified me.
I didn’t even realize I was gripping Kalm’s jersey in my hand or that I was crying until he glanced down at me.
It was like that one look was all it took for him to snap.
He tapped my hand to let him go, so I unwillingly released his jersey.
Without a word, he stepped forward, picked Bryaire up by his throat and literally slammed him straight into the glass table in the section.
All eyes in the club were on us for real now.
Standing over Bryaire, he stared down at him like a raging bull. “Stay the fuck away from her, or the next time, I’m not going to be so friendly.” If this was what he considered being friendly, I would hate to see the damage he could really cause.
Bryaire was too busy howling in pain to respond.
Kalm turned toward me, grabbed my hand, and snatched me behind him.
I followed wordlessly because he’d done what I couldn’t do to Bryaire, and for that, I was so thankful.
When we got over to the bathrooms, he pushed me inside one and locked the door.
The automatic stench of urine that hit my nose told me it was the men’s before I even spotted the urinal in the corner.
For a minute, he stood there with his head bowed and his hands pressed into the door.
I watched his shoulders rise and fall a few times before I placed a soft hand on his lower back.
He slowly turned toward me, giving me his eyes.
I could see the fire brewing in them and understood what he said about his name.
This was not the man who’d taken me to the diner, but at the same time, it was.
His gaze finally softened, and he sighed. “I’m sorry you had to see that. I’m about to head out before I kill that nigga.”
For some reason, hearing he was about to leave had me ready to cry. My chest began to heave up and down as the panic set in. “Please, don’t leave me,” I pleaded in a voice so small I knew my fear couldn’t be missed.
He licked his lips and reached for my hand.
I allowed him access to it and was yanked into his hard chest as a reward.
I rested my head right over his heart, feeling safer than I ever had, listening to his heartbeat.
I melted when his arms wrapped around my waist, locking me in a comforting embrace.
He placed the sweetest kiss on the side of my head.
“You want me to take you back to the hotel?”
Blinking through my tears, I looked up at him and shook my head. “No, I want to go with you.”
He palmed my cheek and tilted his head to the side to study me.
“To my crib?” I nodded, feeling no need to use my voice.
He silently stared down at me, and I steadily met his gaze.
After another weighted minute, where my heart was left pounding and my nerves becoming a tangled mess, he finally spoke again. “Aight, fuck it. Come on, Pretty.”
