Seven Weeks Before the Wedding
Brianna: Gracie, Mom wants to know if you can get us a free bounce house.
Mom: Ask her if there are any Patriots-themed houses. Extra large.
Josie: Mom, you’re in the group chat. Ask her yourself.
Mom: Gracie, can you get us a Patriots bounce house? We need a BIG one.
Brianna: I still think we should roast a whole pig. What are your pig connections like, Gracie?
Mom: Are we final on the football theme? Maybe a Bruins bounce house instead.
Brianna: Mom, the theme is PASS THE PIGSKIN.
Josie: It’s Mom’s bday, Bri.
Mom: Let’s talk about it when Gracie brings the favors over.
Brianna: Are those done yet, Gracie?
Gracie: Working on it! I’ll see about the pig. How important is this bounce house?
Josie: We have 19 kids under the age of 10 coming. You tell ME how important it is.
Mom: CRITICAL.
Brianna: She was asking Gracie, Mom.
Gracie: I’ll see what I can do.
