Chapter 14 Elise #2
"Sienna." Elise waited until Sienna looked at her. The brown eyes that met hers were wide and vulnerable and bright with want and fear in equal measure. "I promise you I will not have to pretend."
Sienna's fingers twisted in the sheet. "You can't know that."
Elise reached out and tucked a strand of dark hair behind Sienna's ear. "I can. Because I've been thinking about your mouth since the first time you smiled at me in the medical room. And because the way you kiss me already tells me everything I need to know about what you'll be like."
Sienna's lips parted. "What do you mean?"
Elise leaned forward and kissed her.
The kiss was slow and tender, a morning kiss, soft lips and warm breath and the faint trace of salt from last night's tears.
Elise took her time with it. She kissed Sienna's lower lip, then her upper lip, then the corner of her mouth, then she opened her mouth against Sienna's and let Sienna's tongue find hers.
The tongue. That was what she meant. Sienna's mouth was thorough and attentive and deeply, instinctively sensual, her tongue moving with a carefulness that sent heat straight down Elise's spine.
Sienna kissed as she did everything: with focus and care and a commitment to getting it exactly right.
Elise pulled back. Sienna's lips were wet and parted and her breathing was faster.
"That," Elise said. "Whatever you do with your tongue when you kiss me. Do that."
"Do that... down there?"
"Exactly."
The pink spread down her throat. But Sienna's eyes were steady now, and behind the nervousness there was determination. The same look she wore in the medical suite when she was about to do a procedure that required skill and steadiness and absolute attention.
"I might need some guidance," Sienna said.
"I'll tell you what feels good. And Sienna?" Elise waited for her eyes. "You don't need to be good at this. You just need to be you. I'm already so turned on by you that this is going to work. I promise."
Sienna held her gaze, then nodded. The nod was decisive, the same nod she gave before she taped a shoulder or adjusted a rehab protocol. Clinical Sienna surfacing through the vulnerability, and somehow that combination was the most attractive thing Elise had ever seen.
Elise lay back against the pillows. She was wearing a t-shirt and nothing else, the shirt she'd pulled on in the dark when they moved to the bed, and when she pulled it over her head Sienna's eyes dropped to her chest and the look on her face was open and hungry and reverent all at once.
"You're beautiful," Sienna whispered.
"Touch me."
Sienna's hand came to Elise's stomach. Her fingers were slightly trembling and they spread across Elise's skin, gentle, as if Elise might break.
She traced the line of Elise's ribs, then higher, to the curve of her breast, and when her thumb brushed across Elise's nipple Elise sucked in a sharp breath and Sienna's eyes flew to her face.
"Good?" Sienna asked.
"Very good."
Sienna's mouth followed her hand. She kissed Elise's collarbone, then the hollow of her throat, then lower, pressing soft, open-mouthed kisses down Elise's sternum.
Her hair fell across Elise's skin, dark and ticklish, and Elise gathered it in her good hand and held it back from Sienna's face so she could watch.
Sienna kissed her breast. Her tongue was tentative at first, circling Elise's nipple with careful strokes, and then the hesitation fell away and her mouth sealed over the nipple and she sucked and Elise's hips arched off the bed.
"Just like that," Elise breathed.
Sienna moved lower. She kissed down Elise's stomach with the thoroughness she brought to everything, her lips tracing the ridges of muscle, the small scar from an appendectomy at sixteen, the soft skin below her navel.
Each kiss was slow and intentional and Sienna's hands moved with her, one gripping Elise's hip, the other trailing fingertips along the outside of her thigh.
Elise could feel Sienna's breath quickening against her skin.
The nervousness was still there in the slight hesitation between kisses, the way Sienna paused at the top of Elise's hip bone as if gathering courage.
"You're doing perfectly," Elise said.
Sienna looked up at her. The brown eyes were dark with arousal and fixed on Elise's face with an intensity that made Elise's stomach clench.
She was between Elise's thighs now, her dark hair spread across Elise's hip, and the morning light caught the line of her jaw and the fullness of her lower lip.
She lowered her mouth. Elise's breath stopped.
The first touch of Sienna's tongue was cautious. A broad, slow stroke, flat and gentle, exploring. Elise's body responded before her brain could process it, her hips tilting upward, a gasp escaping that she couldn't control. Sienna pulled back fractionally, startled by the response.
"Don't stop," Elise said. Her voice was already rough. "That's perfect. Do that again."
Sienna did it again. Another broad stroke, then another, finding a rhythm that was unhurried and thorough. Her tongue was soft and she was doing exactly what Elise had told her to do, kissing as she kissed Elise's mouth, with that same focused, attentive pressure. The sensation was devastating.
Elise's hand was in Sienna's hair. She held on, not guiding, just anchoring, and Sienna's tongue found her clit and the sound that came from Elise was low and helpless.
She felt Sienna's lips curve against her at the sound, a smile, and the intimacy of it, Sienna smiling against her while her tongue worked, was almost too much.
"A little higher," Elise breathed. "Right— yes. There. Right there."
Sienna adjusted. Her tongue moved higher, focused, circling with a focus that was pure Sienna, and the pressure built in Elise's lower abdomen like a gathering wave.
Her thighs were shaking. Her grip on Sienna's hair tightened and Sienna's hand gripped her hip harder and the communication between them was wordless and perfect.
Sienna's tongue pressed firmer. The rhythm quickened, responding to the sounds Elise was making, to her hips moving, and the orgasm built from deep inside, a slow, climbing tension that radiated outward from the point where Sienna's mouth met her body.
"God, Sienna," Elise gasped. "You feel incredible. Don't stop. Please don't stop."
Sienna didn't stop. She pressed closer, her mouth sealing over Elise's clit, her tongue flicking in quick, focused strokes, and her hand slid from Elise's hip to her inner thigh, spreading her wider, holding her open with a firmness that sent a fresh surge of heat through Elise's body.
The pressure was building, cresting, and Elise's hips bucked against Sienna's mouth and her hand fisted in Sienna's hair and it was coming, unstoppable.
"I'm close," she breathed. "I'm so close. You're so good. You're— oh god—"
The orgasm hit low and deep, a tightening that pulled every nerve to a single point and then released.
Her hips lifted off the bed. Her hand flew to Sienna's hair and gripped, not pulling, just holding on, and the sound she made was broken and grateful and loud in the quiet bedroom.
Sienna kept her mouth on her through all of it, her tongue still moving, softer now, gentler, riding the aftershocks with an instinct that had nothing to do with experience and everything to do with attention.
The wave receded slowly. Elise's body went slack against the pillows.
Her breathing was ragged and her pulse was hammering in her throat.
Her skin was damp with sweat and the morning air was cool against it.
She could feel Sienna's mouth still pressed against her inner thigh, gentle, and Sienna's hand still resting on her hip.
"Come here," Elise whispered. Her voice was raw.
Sienna moved up her body. She settled against Elise's side and pressed her face into the curve of Elise's neck and her breath and the dampness of her mouth pressed hot into Elise's skin and the rapid beat of her heart through the press of their bodies.
"Was that... okay?” Sienna's voice was muffled against Elise's neck. Small. Uncertain.
Elise laughed. The sound was breathless and it vibrated through both of them. She wrapped her good arm around Sienna and pulled her close and pressed her lips against the top of her head.
"Okay is not the word I'd use."
Sienna's fingers curled against Elise's collarbone. "What word would you use?"
"Incredible. Life-altering. Absolutely mind-blowing." She kissed Sienna's hair. "You said you'd never done that properly. That was a lie."
"It wasn't a lie. I just... listened to what you said.” Sienna lifted her head and looked at Elise.
Her lips were swollen and wet and her eyes were bright and her face held an expression Elise hadn't seen before.
Pride. Quiet, startled pride, the expression of someone who had been told they couldn't and then did.
"You told me what to do and I listened."
"You did more than listen." Elise touched Sienna's face with her good hand.
She traced the line of her jaw, the high cheekbone, the corner of her mouth.
Sienna leaned into her hand. "You were paying attention.
You felt what worked and you followed it.
That's not technique, Sienna. That's connection. "
Sienna's mouth curved. The pride was still there, growing, and beneath it a spark of mischief Elise hadn't seen before.
"I want to do that again," Sienna said. Her voice was low and certain and nothing like the nervous woman who'd asked for guidance twenty minutes ago.
"Now?"
"Not now." Sienna pressed her lips to the hollow of Elise's throat. "But soon. I want to get better at it."
Elise laughed, breathless. "You don't need to get better. That was already—"
"I'm a perfectionist." Sienna kissed the corner of her mouth, then pulled back just far enough to look at her, and her expression was delighted with herself. "I intend to practise."
Elise pulled her close and kissed her, soft and slow, tasting herself on Sienna's lips, and Sienna's hand came up to rest against her chest, over her heart.
They lay together in the grey morning light with their legs tangled and the sheet pulled over them both Elise's shoulder ached from sleeping on it and her body was loose and deeply satisfied and the woman in her arms was breathing slowly, her fingers drawing absent patterns over Elise's collarbone.
"Stay," Elise murmured. "Stay a little longer."
Sienna pressed closer. Her lips moved against Elise's throat. "I'm staying."
The morning light was strengthening. Through the gap in the curtains, the sky was shifting from grey to pale gold, the first edge of the sun clearing the water.
A gull called outside, answered by another.
The apartment was quiet and smelled of sleep and skin and the two of them together, a scent that hadn't been here yesterday, that had no name yet but felt like the beginning of everything.
She held Sienna close and watched the light change and didn't move.
