I stand still and watch all the roses around me, Nico let's go of my arms and runs to Elijah's.
"Dadda! I mwissed you."
"I missed you too Nico. I am so happy you are home. Go play in your room okay?"
"Yes dadda." With that he runs to his room.
I am out of my daze when I feel Elijah's hand on my cheeks, wiping tears which I didn't know were freely running.
"Shh shh Pearl. Don't cry my love."
"Elijah-"
"No Pearl, it's my turn to talk. Let's go sit down." He gently takes my hand and we sit down in the living room.
"Skylar you gave me two weeks to think, although I knew my choice the second I saw that letter, I respected your wishes.
Those two weeks were hell. I gave myself all the work I could so that I wasn't in a constant worry.
I don't know what were you thinking but let me just tell you that.
I choose my family, I choose Nico, our baby and you.
About the company, it's already mine so nobody can take it away from me.
But don't ever pull that stunt on me. I hope you now see I will not gave my family for anything. I love you Skylar Pearl Gray."
"I am so sorry Elijah. I just wanted to give you a free choice, it was hell for me too. I promise not to push you away and to communicate. Sorry for always doubting and making things complicated. I love you too." I couldn't say anything else.
"So let's wipe those tears and you tell me how our baby is."
"Baby is doing great. Tomorrow we find out gender. Will you be there?"
"Of course love. What time?"
"At 1pm."
"Oh okay, I will have to hurry from a meeting but I will make it. I wouldn't miss is for the world."
"Okay. Thank you for everything Elijah. I love you."

Later Elijah bathed Nico and put him to bed. Elijah had to promise him he will be home the next day.
And later he gave all his attention to me.

I wake up to someone kissing me, well Elijah kissing me so I open my eyes.
"Morning, how is it you are still at home?"
"I canceled all my planes love. I was thinking maybe after check up, we can go Baby stuff shopping and decor his or hers room?"
"Oh yeah that would be a great plan, but I can do that on my own if you have work or are not interested in baby stuff shopping."
"Pearl we agreed, for you to stop pushing me away. If I don't want to do something I will tell you that. And if I clear my schedule for the day is because I want to, not because I feel obligated." He says kissing me.
"Sorry Elijah." I sighed.
I know you may think I am stupid or stubborn but all my life I was depending on myself and now I have this amazing man. So yes after all this months I am still getting used to depending on him.
"Don't worry love, go get a shower I will cook you some breakfast. Nico is already ready. Then we can go buy Nico some stuff, to appointment and later we leave Nico at Lily and Jer and go shopping for the baby."
"Well it seems you have got all figured out." I kiss him.
"Thank you for last night love." I immediately blush, since we never exactly talk about it or so. Well not since our first time together. He sees my blush and chuckles.
"Stop it Elijah. I know you are doing this on purpose."
"Sorry love, I love it. And it's cute when I make you blush like a teenager and you are 24years old."
"Oh shush and better go make me some breakfast." I playfully push him.
"Okay love don't need to be aggressive."
When he finally leaves I get ready.
Elijah cooked divine breakfast and we did quite a lot of shopping for Nico.
Currently we are waiting for doctor.
"Hello miss Skylar. Mr. Woods. Hi Nico."
"Hi." All three of us say.
"So let's see what is awaiting you in four months."
She puts gel on my stomach.
"Oh miss Skylar it looks like your family will have a baby girl."
I instantly look at Elijah, who is holding my hands. He is smiling so widely it's contagious even for doctor.
"Our little princess." Elijah whispers.
"Nico you are going to have a sister." I say wiping away my tears.
"Yaaay! Swistew!" He jumps in my arms.
"Wow slow down baby."
After all the tears were shed, I cleaned my stomach and we got a ultrasound picture we were ready to go. Elijah smile didn't fade not even for a minute.
"Let's go now Pearl. Nico we will leave you with aunt Lily and Uncle Jer."
"Owkay."
We dropped Nico at our friends and hours and hours of shopping and Elijah's stubbornness to have it done everything today, we are finally done.
"It's beautiful Elijah."
"Yeah it is. You know love you helped me fill two empty rooms, I hope I can get your help for another two." He wiggles his eyebrows.
"Wha-what do you mean?" Is he implying to have more kids with me?
"Yes Pearl, I am implying that. Well eventually we could have two more? What do you say?"
Ups I guess I said it out loud.
"All I can say is I love you, but let me get our little princess out okay? We will talk then, although I like the thought."
It was now 10pm and we are done. I am worried about Nico. I know Jer and Lily said it was fine for him to sleep over but I would just want him here.
"Love?"
"Yes?"
"Are you worried about Nico?"
"Ugh, I don't know how you read me like an open book." I sighed.
"I know you are worried, but Nico will be fine okay?"
"Yeah I know."
"Love if you want I can always go to pick him up."
"No, Elijah. Lily texted me he is already asleep and I wouldn't want to wake him up. Besides if you go now I will be worried about you too. It's the best if we stay here and I will relax, I know he is safe."
"Okay Pearl. Tomorrow is Saturday so I don't have to work. I will go pick him up and you have some rest, all this worrying isn't good for you or little princess."
"Okay Elijah." I kiss him firstly on his jaw and work my way to his lips. I than stop like I didn't do anything and wish him good night.
"Good night love." Before I fall asleep I hear him say something along the line my future wifey is such a tease.
I couldn't be more happy, everything is great. Nothing can go wrong now, right?
