29. Finley #2
He gave me a skeptical look but took my word for it being an elf and all. The guys helped me carry in all the food and set them on the table, and I looked around the room, seeing all my wolves but not Derven or Rath. “Where are the other two? I saw them come in?”
“Derven got a video call from his dad and Rath was keeping him from throwing the computer through the office window,” Lane shared, popping a crouton from the salad into his mouth. “This looks amazing, sweetheart. I’m glad you decided to do this.”
I smiled at him and blew him a kiss. “I’m gonna go rescue him. His father loves me for some strange reason.”
Heading to the office that we all used now for our various roles, we had to add two more desks, so there were more surfaces to cover in papers.
Sitting behind the one that Derven used mostly, he was speaking to his father heatedly in Romanian.
Rath was leaning against one of the bookshelves out of sight but close enough to intervene.
When he saw me, he smirked at me as I walked over.
“Coming to rescue your vampire from his evil father?” Rath teased.
I shot him a look. “Oh and you’re just standing there to keep him company? Or are you tired of fixing windows when he chucks the laptop out the window?”
“Touché, nin mel, touché,” he laughed, reaching out a hand to me, pulling me into a hug, kissing me slowly before he allowed me to go rescue Derven.
I stepped behind Derven and leaned closer to the computer. “Buna ziua, Remus,” I greeted with a small wave.
“Fiic?,” Remus announced excitedly. “It’s so good to see you. Matei, when are you going to bring your beautiful bride home for me to meet? I keep asking and asking you keep telling me no, this is not good.”
“Remus, you know how it is to be a ruler,” I countered. “Things are just getting off the ground and I need to be there for my people. I’ve promised that once things settle down, I will make him take me to see you,” I promised once again.
“Ah, such a lovely woman you found yourself, Matei,” Remus gushed.
Derven looked up at me, his love shining bright in them. “Yes, I am beyond lucky to have her in my life.”
“Now I know how hard it is for you two to connect, but we are just about to sit down to dinner, and I made them promise they would all be there,” I shared, knowing how Remus was about keeping his word.
The ancient vampire might be paranoid and crazy, but he was a man of principle and believed in a man’s word being unbreakable. “Yes, yes, go be with your family. One day we will all meet and have dinner together, one giant happy family,” Remus announced, then ended the call.
Without warning, Derven pulled me into his lap and nipped at my neck. “You are too good to me. You know that?” he whispered into my ear. “What would I do without you?”
“Be stuck on the phone with your father for five hours and starve to death,” I answered, giving him a cheeky smile.
“Evil woman, no one sees your true colors, but I do,” he muttered as he stood, tossing me over his shoulder and slapping my ass. “Come on, Rathal, let’s go enjoy the meal our woman has prepared for us.”
“Are you even going to eat it?” Rath asked.
“Maybe, depends on if someone is going to be my snack later,” Derven teased, groping my ass. “I know of a big juicy rump I don’t mind taking a bit out of.” They both laughed at the terrible pun he made.
When we reached the dining room, Derven set me down at the head of the table and pulled out the chair for me. I took my seat and the others all settled into theirs. We dished up the food and dug in, talking about our days and things going on in the pack or with work.
I loved how this just felt so perfect and I couldn’t even begin to know where to thank them for becoming my family and teaching me what it meant to love someone.
As we drew to the end of the meal and the guys relaxed, Zander got up and poured everyone a drink.
Then I got up, grabbed eight small boxes, and placed them in front of each.
“My heart, you know that Christmas is next week, right?” Elias asked, looking at the box with curiosity.
I nodded but gestured to have them open the box.
They did slowly and picked up the object and started to unwrap the item from the tissue paper.
Mason got his free first and looked at the coffee mug in confusion, reading the words over and over again on it before understanding hit him.
His eyes snapped up to mine and his jaw dropped.
Elias was the next one and he shot up from his seat, backing away from the thing like it bit him. “Are you serious?” he demanded, his gaze blazing with passion. “You better not be joking about this because if you are, I’m going to beat your ass.”
I couldn’t help but laugh at his threat. “Is that any way to treat the woman who is going to be the future mother to your children?”
“Wait, does this mean you’re already…” Lane asked but couldn’t finish his question.
“No, it means that with your help someday soon, those mugs won’t be correct. I’ll have to replace them since Soon To Be Dad will be wrong and it will need to be number one dad or something equally silly,” I explained.
Colt cleared his throat and looked at me with hope in his eyes. “I’m going to need you to say it out loud, please, little one.”
Standing, I looked each of them in the eyes as I spoke. “Will you, my mates, help me be a mother someday in the near future?”
Noah whooped as he leaped out of his chair, charged over to me, scooped me up, and raced up the stairs. “Last one naked doesn’t get her pussy,” he hollered to the others.
That had them all racing, tossing clothes off themselves and me left and right, as they sped to the master bedroom. Colt snatched me out of Noah’s arms and thrust into me as he landed on the bed. Rutting into me as he whispered all the dirty things he wanted to do to me.
“I’m going to fill your pussy with so much cum you won’t be able to hold anyone else’s.” I groaned at his words, his hot breath on my skin pushing me to the limit.
My men made quick work out of spending that whole night filling me again and again until I was a sticky mess of their seed dripping out from between my legs. Elias kept trying to shove it back up inside me until I scolded him strongly enough, he left me alone.
“I don’t care which of us gets your belly round first because no matter what, that kid will be ours just as you are,” he murmured against my stomach as he kissed it. “God, I don’t think I’m going to be able to let you go a moment without one of us shooting our seed into you.”
Running my fingers through his hair, I smiled. “Can’t say I’m opposed to that, just so long as I can still get my work done.”
“Sounds like us betas might get more of a shot then since we don’t have to be stuck to you for a half hour,” Mason pointed out the smugness in his voice.
Zander chucked a pillow at his face. “I’ll just fuck her while she’s sitting on my lap, then she can do work at the same time while I ensure my cum won’t leak out before it’s had time to knock that womb up.”
“Fuck,” I swore. “Why is that one of the hottest things you’ve ever said?”
He grinned at me. “We alphas can come up with many ways to keep you knotted up good and still doing life. Just you wait and see.”
“Best early Christmas present ever,” Colt added.
Rath chucked. “Now it makes sense why you didn’t want to do that with the family around.”
Everyone laughed and snuggled around me closer until I was smothered by their bodies and their love.
“Not so tight, Derven,” Mason chided. “What if she’s already pregnant and you’re squishing the baby?”
Derven snorted. “I don’t care what kind of supernatural you are. There is no way that works that fast. We’ve got a few weeks yet before we know if it worked.”
“Now, I definitely am not going on tour,” Zander shared. “Tour or knocking my mate up? Yeah, I know which one I like the sound of more. It can wait.”
I drifted off to sleep smiling, knowing that this family of mine was more perfect than I ever could have dreamed of. The way it came about wasn’t the best of circumstances, but fate had a funny way of making things happen just the way they should.
Now, we just had to wait and see what the future had instore for us.
