47. Chapter 47

Mano’s heart slammed against his ribs. For a moment, he couldn’t move. From the back seat, Ody watched him with a steady, piercing stare that made Mano’s pulse spike harder.

He swallowed hard. This was insane. They were alone. In a deserted parking lot. And Ody was sitting back there like he had already decided how this was going to end.

His hand closed around the edge of the seat. Why was he suddenly so nervous? His eyes flicked to the rearview mirror. Ody was still there. Leaning back in the seat, legs apart, watching him with that infuriatingly confident look. Waiting.

Mano exhaled slowly. Ody leaned forward and pressed a kiss to his neck. He jerked back, eyes widening.

“You coming back here?” Ody asked with a sly smile.

Mano glanced around awkwardly. “W-why?”

Ody chuckled. “Have I ever told you how much I like it when you stutter?” He shifted closer from the back seat.

Mano retreated until his leg bumped against the glove compartment. “W-why do you want me back there?” he asked, avoiding his gaze.

“Come here and you’ll see.”

“I’m fine right here.”

Ody’s expression hardened. “I said, get in the back.”

“Don’t order me around,” Mano said, annoyed.

Ody’s eyebrows lifted, pleasantly surprised by the defiance. “Didn’t you say you came here even though you didn’t want to? Because I insisted? That means you do as I say.” He held Mano’s gaze. “Good. Now get in the back. Or I’ll come get you myself.”

Mano stared at him, chest rising and falling like he was fighting something inside his own head. Then he opened the door, stepped out, and climbed into the back seat beside him. Once the door shut, he pressed himself against the window, putting as much distance between them as possible.

Ody slid closer, pressing his body against Mano’s as he leaned near his ear. “Everything I’m about to do to you…” he whispered. “I’m gonna do it against your will, right? You don’t want this, huh, Mano?”

Mano shut his eyes, trying to stop the shiver that ran through him at Ody’s breath.

“You don’t want this…” Ody murmured, kissing his neck.

Mano leaned toward the window even though there was nowhere left to move. His breathing grew uneven.

Ody’s tongue slid slowly along his skin while his warm breath brushed his ear. “Then why are you shaking?” His hands glided over Mano’s white shirt, and his chest rose under his touch.

Ody’s eyes drifted lower, his voice dropping to a whisper. “You’re this hard for me.”

Mano’s breath hitched, his cheeks warming. “Shut up…”

Ody grabbed his face and turned it toward him, forcing their eyes to meet.

“Let go…” Mano muttered breathlessly.

“I’m not holding you down,” Ody said, releasing him. “Leave.”

Mano didn’t move.

“You don’t want to be here with me, right?” Ody continued. “It’s wrong. What will people say?” He motioned toward the front seat. “Go on. Get in the front so we can leave.”

Mano’s eyes stayed fixed on him, confused and restless.

“You’ve got five seconds to prove you don’t want this,” Ody said.

Mano swallowed hard.

“After those five seconds…” Ody leaned close to his ear. “I won’t hold back. You’re all mine.”

Another shiver ran down Mano’s spine.

“One.”

Mano darted his gaze around nervously.

“Two.”

His hand moved slowly toward the door handle.

“Three.”

Heat flooded through his body.

“Four.” Ody simply watched him, calm and certain.

Mano’s fingers wrapped around the handle. All he had to do was push it down. But every part of him wanted to stay.

“Five. Time’s up.” Ody lunged forward, crashing his mouth onto his.

His hands moved quickly, unbuttoning Mano’s shirt and sliding over the firm muscles beneath. Without breaking the kiss, Ody’s hands moved lower. He popped open the button of Mano’s pants, then dragged the zipper down.

Mano sucked in a sharp breath.

Ody hooked his fingers into the waistband and tugged both the fabric and his boxers down. Mano lifted himself instinctively, breath catching as Ody’s hand closed around him.

“This time,” Ody said, his green eyes burning into him, “you’re not gonna be the only one enjoying it.”

“What do you mean?” Mano asked, even as his expression softened with nervous anticipation.

Ody didn’t answer. His hands slid down to the buckle of his own belt. For the first time since this started, Ody’s eyes left Mano’s face, dropping to what he was doing as he slowly unbuckled it. The quiet metallic click seemed absurdly loud inside the car. Mano couldn’t stop watching.

Then Ody pushed his pants down along with his boxers.

Mano turned his head away quickly, cheeks burning.

Ody caught the back of Mano’s neck and guided him down against the seat until he was nearly lying beneath him. Then Ody moved over him, one hand braced beside Mano’s head. “If you can’t make me come,” he murmured, “I’ll do it for both of us.”

“What…” Mano barely managed the word before Ody spat into his palm.

He wrapped his hand around both of them and began moving slowly.

Mano’s breath hitched. “Ah…” His head fell back against the seat. His face burned with embarrassment, and yet the sight between them was unbearably hot.

“Look at us,” Ody said, almost breathless.

Mano kept his head tilted back, too embarrassed to obey.

“Look at our cocks rubbing each other.”

Slowly, Mano opened his eyes and glanced down at what Ody was doing.

“They look good together, don’t they?” Ody breathed, a smirk tugging at his lips as his gaze slid from their hard lengths to Mano’s flushed face.

They were both breathing hard now, their faces inches apart. Ody kept stroking them together, his rhythm slow and steady. “Ah... Mano…” he rasped.

“Fuck…” Mano groaned, eyes squeezing shut as the pleasure built.

Ody looked down at their cocks before letting a slow glob of spit fall between them. His thumb brushed over their tips, spreading the leaking pre-cum over both of them.

His mind was spinning with images of the boy beneath him, black hair messy, lips parted, moaning under his touch.

Mano was lost in the same storm of sensation. All he could think about was Ody. The heat of his body so close, the rough rhythm of his hand, the sound of his breathing right next to his ear. “Oh God... I’m gonna come…” he whimpered.

Ody leaned forward enough to reach the glove compartment, pulling it open with one hand. He grabbed a handful of tissues. “Look at me,” he ordered.

Mano kept his eyes shut.

“I said, look at me.” He grabbed his face and forced their gazes to meet as they panted harder. Ody leaned closer, his lips brushing Mano’s ear. “Come for me.”

“Ah, fuck!” Mano cried out as Ody caught him with the tissues just in time.

A deep groan tore from Ody as his own release followed seconds later, his eyes squeezing shut. He dropped his forehead briefly against Mano’s shoulder before easing back beside him. Both of them sat there breathing heavily, heads tipped back as they tried to recover.

“You have no idea how hard it was to hold back all day,” Ody panted. “Especially after what we did in the room.” He turned to him with a smug smile. “And I made you come twice.”

Mano turned his head slowly to look at him, still breathless. He didn’t say a word. He grabbed the remaining tissues, wiping himself off before pulling his boxers back up and buttoning his pants.

“I want to do more with you,” Ody said. “Will you let me?”

“What do you mean?”

Ody watched him for a moment. “I mean beyond this. Not just while we’re here… Somewhere we can actually be alone.”

Mano raised an eyebrow. “Athens?”

“You said you’d come with me to Patra for a few days,” Ody reminded him. “And you asked me to come to Volos with you.”

Mano remembered the conversation they’d had at his favorite overlook in the city. “So? What does that have to do with anything?”

“We’ll be alone.”

Mano scoffed. “You’ve got a lot of urges for a guy who already has a girlfriend. What, Anna doesn’t satisfy you?”

Ody’s expression turned serious. “I don’t want you to satisfy my urges,” he said. “I want you because you’re the one who causes them.”

Butterflies stirred in Mano’s stomach as he quickly looked away.

“So,” Ody continued, “are you coming with me to Patra? You said you’d come. To meet my family.”

“Okay, stop asking,” Mano muttered. “I said I’d come.”

Ody studied him, a slow smirk spreading across his lips. “You’re really cute when you pretend you don’t want this.”

Mano shot him a glare. “The door handle got stuck,” he grumbled, turning his head to the side. “It wouldn’t open.”

Ody burst out laughing. “Oh man… what am I gonna do with you?” He grabbed Mano by the collar and stole a quick kiss. “The handle got stuck, huh?” he said with a grin. “Will you ever admit you like me?”

“No,” Mano said, staring straight ahead. “Because I don’t lie.”

Ody chuckled. For a moment he just looked at him. Then he leaned back and stretched out across Mano’s lap. Mano blinked and looked down at him, startled.

Ody rested his head comfortably, watching him. “I like you,” he said simply. “And I’m not ashamed to admit it.” A grin spread across his lips before he shouted, “Mano Jones, I’m so into you!”

Mano stared down at him, horrified by how hard his heart was pounding.

Ody tilted his head. “So,” he said, his eyes searching Mano’s face, “tell me how much you liked what I just did to you.”

“I didn’t,” Mano muttered, looking away.

Ody smirked. “Liar. If you could see the look on your face, you wouldn’t even try.”

“Did you see your own face?” Mano shot back.

“But I’m not denying anything,” Ody said. “You turn me on so fucking bad.” He held his gaze, watching Mano’s long dark lashes flutter.

Ody chuckled and turned onto his side, still stretched across Mano’s lap. He took Mano’s hand and placed it on his hair.

“What are you doing?” Mano asked.

“Stroke my hair.”

Mano stared at him, completely thrown by the request. “Are you insane?” He pulled his hand away.

Ody frowned. “Come on. What’s the big deal?”

“I don’t want to. Leave me alone.”

Ody scoffed and sat up. “Pfft!”

Before Mano could react, Ody grabbed him and pulled him down across his own lap.

“What the hell?” Mano tried to sit up, but Ody held him there.

“Don’t talk.” He began running his fingers gently through Mano’s hair.

Mano went quiet, his body going still beneath his hand.

“See? It’s not that hard.”

“I don’t need—”

“Relax. Just enjoy it.” The slow touch of Ody’s fingers soon made his eyes drift shut.

A notification buzzed, breaking the moment. Ody sighed and grabbed his phone. Anna: Baby is everything okay? Where are you?

“Shit…” Ody muttered. “Time flew by.” He looked at the screen again, the reality of where they were hitting him all at once.

Mano opened his eyes. “We should go back.” He sat up and reached for the door.

“Wait.” Ody grabbed his wrist, making him turn back. He cupped Mano’s cheek and kissed him gently, slowly. When he pulled away, he stayed close, smiling. “Let’s go.”

They returned to the restaurant, Mano uneasy about what the others might say. But Ody told him to leave it to him. Then, with effortless confidence, he explained the supposed issue with Mano’s brother, and the group continued their meal without suspicion.

“Wanna take a walk to the port?” Anna suggested and everyone agreed.

“I didn’t know you had a brother,” Ranya said to Mano as she fell into step beside him.

Mano sighed.

“What’s his name?”

“I don’t wanna talk about him.” He shot her a warning look.

“How old is he? Does he live in England?”

“I told you to drop it, didn’t I?” Mano snapped, his voice louder.

Everyone stopped walking.

“What’s going on?” Christina asked, turning back from a few steps ahead.

Mano glared at Ranya before turning away and continuing down the street. Ody watched them, frowning. Ranya looked angry, but there was hurt in her eyes too.

By the time they returned to the hotel, everyone had gone quiet. They said a quick goodnight before heading to their rooms.

“Last swim tomorrow, huh?” Anna asked as she and Ody stepped inside their room.

“Yeah,” he said. “I was thinking we could explore the island a bit. Maybe find a remote beach for a swim.”

“Yeah, that sounds great. Let’s make it a mini trip,” she said, grabbing her shorts to change.

When she came back, she slipped under the sheets and moved closer to him, pressing two kisses against his bare shoulder while he scrolled through his phone. “Come on, put that away,” she said, reaching for it.

“Hold on.”

Anna climbed on top of him, straddling him, taking the phone from his hand and placing it aside. Her lips moved to his neck.

Ody tensed. “Anna…”

She kept kissing him, her breath warm against his skin.

He let out a quiet sigh, already uncomfortable. He placed his hands on her shoulders, trying to push her back. “Anna.”

She brushed his hands aside and kept going.

“Anna, stop. I’m not in the mood.”

“I’ll get you in the mood, baby,” she murmured, as her hand slid lower.

Ody caught her wrist. “Anna—”

She pulled free and grabbed him again, but Ody shoved her away. “Stop!”

Anna froze, staring at him in shock. The room went silent.

Ody squeezed his eyes shut. He had never pushed her away like that before. Never yelled at her.

Just an hour ago, his hands had been all over Mano in the back seat of the car. Now the thought of Anna touching him made his stomach twist.

Because after Mano, Anna’s touch no longer felt like something he wanted.
