Chapter 13 #4
Some guy’s cock up his ass? That was the least he could do to save his family. He owed them that. If he could get to Margie before she got to them, whatever he had to do was worth it. “Okay.”
“Okay what?” Griff asked.
“Okay. I’ll be somebody’s bitch boy. I just need to get out of here and help my kids and their mom.”
“I’ll pass it along. Don’t know if they’ll want ya. You kinda scrawny and ain’t got a purty ass, but some o’ them guys don’t care. They just need a hole, that’s all. You got a hole, so you a candidate.”
“The sooner the better.” Nate wished it could be in the next thirty minutes. Anything so he could get out of there and find Margie. He had to stop her before she hurt someone.
Even if it meant he had to hurt her himself.
It had taken them ten minutes. The next afternoon, while he was out in the yard with everybody else, fourteen guys surrounded him.
What happened next was beyond his wildest nightmare.
When they’d finished with him, two guards walked him down a hallway where a female guard waited, and between the three of them, his humiliation was complete.
And then there was darkness.
Nate woke up with something tickling his nose.
He managed to pry one eye open to find the source of the tickling—grass.
A look around as he sat up revealed a field of several acres completely surrounded by trees.
From what he could tell, the field hadn’t been farmed in several years, and it was full of weeds.
There was an itching, and he looked down to see that he was completely naked.
A little more searching turned up clothes—a pair of jeans, a pair of prison-issued underwear, a shirt, some socks, and a pair of athletic shoes that were a little too big but would do the job.
As he dressed, a little trickle of blood ran down the back of his leg from his behind, and it hurt like hell.
His poor limp dick had something all over it, and he was pretty sure he knew what it was.
The wind shifted just a little and he caught a whiff of himself that almost made him gag.
After he’d put on the underwear, the tee, and the shoes, he wandered into the tree line and started walking with the rest of the clothes folded over his arm.
He didn’t go too far before he found a pond, and he took off everything, stepped down into it, and washed the best he could.
While he was in the water, he decided to take a leak, and it burned like fire to piss.
His head pounded where they’d hit him, and things were a little foggy, but he figured that would pass.
When he was as clean as he could manage, he got out, dressed in everything, and started walking.
His backside still hurt and his penis was still burning, but he had to keep moving.
Nothing looked familiar, but he was pretty sure he was still close to the prison, and when some of the other guards figured out he was gone, the manhunt would start.
He couldn’t let them find him, not until he’d found Margie and stopped her.
There was a road up ahead, so he walked along it for a while, just out of sight of the roadway, until he saw the Eddyville water tower.
Once he saw that, he knew where he was. There was a pizza restaurant at the old outlet mall just a couple of miles away, and from there, he could probably find a way to get around, so he headed that direction and found some discarded pizza in the dumpster out back.
That was at least something to eat until he could get where he needed to go.
From there, he wandered down into town and turned as soon as he saw a neighborhood that looked worse than the rest. Sure enough, there were some really trashy-looking places in there, so he crouched down behind a garage and waited.
Somebody was having a party, and the music was really loud.
There were cars pulling up and cars driving away, and he watched as people went in.
If they stayed for any length of time, he figured they’d be there for the night.
One guy who’d left an old Chevy parked by the curb didn’t come out after two hours, and Nate guessed that was his best bet.
It meant the guy was so blitzed that he’d stay the night, so Nate hot-wired the car and took off.
Nobody would miss it until morning and by that time, he’d be far away.
He drove down the interstate until he got to the interchange that would put him on the Pennyrile Parkway toward Madisonville.
Once he turned there, he got off at the truck stop in the median of the highway, drove down a little road, parked the car back in a field, and walked back to the truck stop.
As always, there was a lot with cars and trucks parked in it where local truckers had left their cars and picked up their semis, and he wandered around in the shadows until he found one that was unlocked.
Ten minutes later, he was on his way, and he pulled into Madisonville at around midnight.
He drove straight to Margie’s and parked behind the abandoned gas station.
Nothing was stirring, so he decided he’d just sleep.
Once he’d stretched out on the front seat, he closed his eyes and tried to relax.
He’d find yet another car the next day and start all over again.
And he’d watch Margie until he caught her.
After all the sacrifices he’d made with his body to get out of the prison and save them, he couldn’t let that go to waste.
He was a man on a mission. Code name: Stop Mama.
