Epilogue Ella
EPILOGUE
Ella
I’m about as happy as I can be as I post once again on TimeGem Moments and ask all of my millions of new friends to capture the moment with me.
“Stop gloating,” Alana grumbles next to me.
I can’t help it. I upload and then look at her, stunned as always by her beauty.
For the Silicon Valley Shadows and Secrets ball this year, she’s wearing crimson with her brunette hair up high on her head.
Her eyes sparkle. “It’s not my fault our men made the bet and I won.
” I guess Justice kind of won, but he said I did, so here we are.
“Plus, I need to catch up with you. I’m still getting in the groove of owning TimeGem. ”
Beautiful ball gowns and dangerous-looking tuxedoes move all around us. The champagne is flowing freely, and the music is soft and romantic.
Rosalie glides toward us, easily holding three glasses of champagne. She hands them to us. “Is she still gloating?”
“Yes,” Alana grumbles.
Rosy is wearing blue this year, and she looks like a princess with her amethyst jewelry.
“All right,” I say. “You can start posting.”
Alana grins and immediately does so.
Rosy takes a sip and shakes her head. “That means I need to post on Hologrid Hub, you know.”
Yeah, I know. I turn and watch as Rosalie’s seven elderly boarders, all dressed to the nines in different colors of tuxedoes, flirt with my three godmothers. I figure they’ve all earned the title.
Aura looks lovely in pale blue, Mags in bright pink, and Jos in a green dress. They’ve danced with each of the men, and at the moment, there seems to be a bit of a scuffle between two of the guys. It’s cute, and I figure they’ll work it out.
There’s a twittering, and we turn to see our men make their way to us from the bar. Yeah, I want to twitter, too. The trio is something to look at. Dark, dangerous, deadly.
Justice’s gaze meets mine, and he prowls toward me.
I swallow. In a tux, he’s even more primitive looking. I’m not sure how.
He reaches me and leans down to bite my earlobe. “Say something sweet.”
I grin. “I like your face.”
His nostrils flare, and pleasure glitters in his eyes. “I like yours.” His eyes sweep my pale yellow gown that’s encrusted with citrines. “You’re beautiful, princess.”
“Thank you.” I glance down at the massive citrine, garnet, and obsidian engagement ring that’s heavy on my finger.
It’s beautiful. We tried several times to cure him of his virus, but it had taken his brother returning home and adding his energy to the moment to actually do it.
Justice is now healed and at one hundred percent.
Voices still bother him, but they don’t cause physical damage.
And my presence helps even with the irritation, which makes me feel lovely. It really does.
Much to his dismay, I also finally created a code to counter any computer virus, and I’ve already shared it with the four families. We’re safe. For now, anyway.
Thorn stands behind Alana and pulls her against his chest.
Alexei is next to Rosalie, standing like he always does, as if just waiting for somebody to try to take her. They won’t.
My attention is caught by Corinda over by the flower arrangement, looking beautiful in a light purple gown. She’s speaking with a tall man with broad shoulders. “Who’s that?”
“My cousin, Saveliy,” Alexei says smoothly. “I just arranged their marriage.”
I swallow. “What?”
Justice nods. “Corinda is in. This creates an alliance between TimeGem and Hologrid Hub, and it helps everyone.”
I need to speak with her later, and I will. We’re becoming close, and I don’t want her to sacrifice herself. “I take it he’s a billionaire?”
“Nearly trillionaire,” Alana says. “He’s handsome, too.”
I guess. I’ll check in with her later.
Justice takes my glass and puts it on a table. Then he wraps an arm around my waist, lifts me, and walks over to the dance floor to set me down.
“You could ask for a dance, you know?”
He leans down and kisses me. Hard. Firm. Sexy. “Behave yourself, brat. We both know what I can do to you on a dance floor.”
Heat fills my face. Because he’s right. “You behave, or I’ll make a run for it tonight.”
His hand spreads across my lower back. “Feel free. I haven’t spanked you nearly enough lately.”
Heat flows into other places on my body now.
My friends and their men start dancing around us, and I lean into Justice, finally feeling like I have a home. “I love you.”
He holds me tighter. “You’re everything, Ella Rendale. All mine.”
Exactly.
