"Mom! You scared me to death!"
Seeing my mother smiling at me from the hospital bed, I felt the joy of regaining what I had nearly lost.

My mother glanced at the tall man beside me.
"This is my boyfriend."
I introduced him shyly.
The Boss showed no embarrassment at all. He immediately began chatting with my mother.
She asked every kind of question and he answered every one.
Until the questions became too outrageous.
"Have you two done that yet?"

"What are you discussing in public?"
My mother smiled and patted my hand.
"Xu Ning has always been adorably clumsy. I worried about her future, but seeing you puts my mind at ease."
