ONYX
All the words. I thought you were different and you’re not. I thought maybe there was a chance at a longer-term relationship but that was stupid. Go back to your bunnies. All of what I had planned to stick to and say again and again, if need be, went out the window.
He’s right. I need to get over the past, no matter that it shattered my heart.
Hawg wants me for more than a romp in the hay, and as he thrusts deeper and faster and demands an answer, I only have one thing to say because I’m no liar, not even to myself. “I’m yours.”
“Damn straight you are, baby,” he growls, pushing my knees up, driving into me hard while keeping me almost bent in half. My climax builds fast and hits like a tidal wave as he pumps a couple more times and goes over the edge with me.
He rolls me over, keeping me cradled in the protection of his arms as our breathing begins to calm.
I stroke his strong tatted arms. “That was intense. It’s never felt like that before.”
He kisses the top of my head cradled beneath his chin and lying on his chest. My fingers find their way into the sparse dark hair that smatters his chest and trails down to his groin.
“You keep that up and I’m going to fuck you again.”
I half laugh. “I’m bone weary. I honestly don’t know if I’d have the strength to participate at this point. You took every bit of energy I have.”
He laughs; a deep belly laugh that I want to hear more of in the future.
But still the lingering questions won’t let go and we’re going to need to discuss them at some point, and better now than later. “You don’t think it’s going to be a problem from a club perspective, us seeing each other?” I ask, still trailing my fingers over his skin.
Hawg kisses the top of my head. “What’s the issue? We’re allies. If anything, we should just clear it with Pearl since you are a VP and I’m a president but even if she said no that wouldn’t stop me from keeping you. I’d just have to move you to my club, keep you prisoner in my bed.”
Now it’s my turn to laugh. “Pearl’s not going to have an issue with it. She knows I’m levelheaded and won’t let my responsibilities to the Harlots slip.”
Hawg tilts my chin with a finger. “One thing we should get good and straight. I don’t fucking share, and I don’t cheat. When I said you’re mine, I meant it. Exclusivity. You don’t flirt, mess around with anyone and I don’t fucking want anyone but you.”
My stomach flutters with butterflies. “I would never cheat on anyone, especially you. It’s the worst betrayal of trust in the world. It shattered me. That’s why no dating.” I give him a kiss on the lips. “Did that happen to you too?”
He nods. “A long time ago, but it stays with you. I had to let it go to make room for a relationship with you. I actually realized that while sitting at my club while those bunnies you thought I was messing around with were giggling like schoolgirls a couple of stools down. I only want you, Onyx. I realized it that very night and came to find you.”
“I’m sorry I accused you of something you didn’t do. I’m going to have to learn to trust again and it’s not that easy. The only people I’ve had to lean on have been the Harlots, especially Pearl, and no one’s ever protected me like you do. A girl could get used to that.”
He grins. “You better get used to having your ass spanked too, because I’m going to make that sweet ass of yours bright red for taking that ride out to the Scorpions by yourself. You break my rules, and your ass pays the price.”
Everything south clenches in delicious agreement. “I can live with that.”
