Chapter 10 #3

He kissed her and she clung to him, wrapping herself around him with a satisfied sigh. Her eyelashes fluttered open, and she smiled shyly at him.

His rude member pushed against her of its own accord, and she giggled, reaching down to touch him more boldly this time, her hand curling naturally around him as she stroked. He groaned and put his hand over hers.

“Not yet, sweetheart, or we’ll never get to the next part.”

Her movements stilled, and he realized she was a little afraid.

So was he. He was so afraid of hurting her without realizing it.

With a brave smile, she kissed him and let go of his cock to spread her legs so he could settle between them.

“All right. I’m ready.”

Georgie’s body still jittered with delicious little shocks, but she couldn’t help being nervous about the next part. He seemed so big, and that part of her seemed too narrow.

“It’s all right,” he said, but his voice was strained as he positioned himself between her legs, bending her knees around him. “Try to relax.”

She put her arms around his back and embraced him. “It’s all right. I want you to.”

He hesitated for another long moment and then, with a groan, he reached down to stroke along the seam of her body. His fingertip slid into her passage, and she gasped. He pulled his hand away.

“Did I hurt you?”

“No. No. I was just startled.”

She felt the broad head of him pressing against her next, seeking the right place. When he found it and slipped inside a bare inch, they both gasped, and he dropped his head to kiss her as her hips arched up, instinctively seeking more.

Slowly, inch by inch, he slid into her, her tight passage yielding until he was fully seated.

The feeling of being stretched was uncomfortable, but not unbearable, and began to ease as she became used to the sensation of him inside her.

She wrapped her legs around him, and the small shift in position seemed to help as well.

He rested his forehead on hers.

“Are you all right?” he whispered.

“I’m fine.” Daringly, she stroked her hands down his back from his shoulders to his bottom, hands gliding over his sweat-slicked skin, and he groaned.

“It’s all right.” This was another way she could help him, could be a good wife to him, and her heart swelled as she wrapped her arms around his back in a heady rush of love and gratitude and lust that made her dizzy.

She never wanted to be apart from him again.

He began to move, and she frowned, drawn back to her body. This part was not as comfortable, but she didn’t want him to stop.

Slowly, as he moved, the pleasurable tingling sensation began again, more diffuse this time, spurred by the feeling of his body pressing her down, his furred chest rubbing against her sensitive nipples, his shaft inside her, the stretching easing as she relaxed into the sensations, this time knowing where they could lead.

And then he shuddered and drove into her one last time, collapsing against her for a moment before he rolled to the side to avoid smothering her. He was still inside her, but she could feel his earlier hardness fading away. She clenched her muscles a little to hold him there, and he groaned.

“Have mercy on a poor inexperienced husband,” he said. “I need some time to recover.”

He kissed her hard and she pressed against him, feeling luxurious and womanly and a little sore all at the same time. Her body had moved in ways it never had before, but she already sensed she would quickly become accustomed to them… and to him.

She snuggled in, pressing her face into the crook of his neck as his arm came around her, pulling her close until their fronts were snugged together. He kissed the crown of her head.

“Can I ask you a question?” he murmured. She tilted her head to see him looking at her, his eyes soft in the firelight.

“I suppose.”

He sighed. “It will likely ruin the mood, but curiosity has been driving me mad.”

With a gentle touch, he traced his finger over the red thread bracelet on her wrist. “I have wondered about this since I first saw it.”

A lump of grief rose in Georgie’s throat as she brought her arm up so they could both look at it. “It’s the symbol of Raksha Bandhan. The unbreakable tie between a brother and sister. I was making it for Freddy when the fever came. I put it onto my own wrist the day of his funeral.”

Peter’s arm tightened around her and he rolled to his back so he could cradle her against his chest. She lay sprawled against him, cheek resting on his hair-roughened skin, and reveled in feeling like she was surrounded by his protection and affection.

“Tell me about him,” he said, and brushed another kiss against her hair as his hand stroked her back in a soothing motion.

So she did, and about losing both Mama and Papa, and being held by him in the darkness as she told him her deepest griefs was as soul-satisfying as she had dreamed it would be in her most secret thoughts. For the first time since Papa’s death, she no longer felt alone.

She had Peter now.

It wasn’t until she awakened alone the next morning that she realized he had spoken no words of love.

But neither had she.
