Chapter Forty-Nine
Gigi
W e didn’t even have to leave the property for dinner. We had the most amazing meal at a seafood restaurant that had views of the water. The hotel has the park on one side and the water on the other. Our room faces the park, and I have a clear view of Cinderella’s castle. It’s absolutely my childhood dream come true.
Once we finish dinner, we head back up to the suite. I think we’re both exhausted after a day of travel and a meal. We walk through the door and Marcus lets out a sigh.
“I’m so tired. I don’t even want to check the score from the game.”
“Same. I’m going to change and go to bed.”
We walk to our separate rooms, and I’m a little sad. When we checked in and I saw there were two bedrooms, I figured out quickly that I would be sleeping alone. I gently lift the tiara from my hair, setting it on the dresser, then grab the cute silk pjs I bought for the trip and head to the bathroom. I wash off the war paint, change, brush my teeth, then walk to the bed. After plugging in my phone, I pull down the blanket and slide under the sheets.
I lie there for a few minutes, willing myself to fall asleep, when there’s a knock on my door.
“Yeah?” I call out from the bed.
“Can I open the door?”
“Yeah.”
I hear the doorknob turn, and Marcus doesn’t say a word as he walks toward me. When he reaches the bed, he gently pulls down the covers and lifts me from the mattress. “What are you doing?”
“Taking you to my bed.”
“Why?”
“Because that’s where I want you.”
He carries me into his room, placing me on his bed. He’s already in his pajama pants as he turns off the lamp on the nightstand, then climbs in, settling on his side, and pulls me to him, covering us with the duvet. I snuggle into his chest, breathing in the smell of his skin.
“I like your pjs,” he says while his thumb circles my hip bone.
“Thank you.” I kiss his chest. “And thank you for today. For this whole weekend.”
“You’re welcome.” His hand moves from my hip to my hair. Tilting my head up, he kisses me softly. It’s a gentle, familiar kiss, almost like a goodnight kiss that we’ve done for years. “Get some sleep. We have a big day tomorrow.”
I turn to my other side, scooting back until I’m against his chest. He wraps his arm around me and we both fall asleep.
“Princess.”
I feel lips on my shoulder. I slowly open my eyes and grin.
“Is it already morning?”
“It is. If you want to see the park before our activities, we should get up.”
“Waking up. We should go down to the cafe and get coffee.”
“I already ordered room service. Coffee will be here soon.”
“You’re too good to me, prince.”
I lay for a moment longer until Marcus stirs next to me. He peels back the duvet and rubs my ass. “Out of bed, G.” Then I feel a sharp sting that shoots straight to my clit as he spanks me.
“That’s not a nice wake up call!”
“You’re lucky I was gentle.” He rolls off the mattress when there’s a knock at the door. “Coffee’s here.”
He leaves the room with a devilish grin. It’s going to be a long weekend.
