CHAPTER THIRTY FOUR
It was indeed a legit mansion, at least as far as mansions in the Midwest went.
It was three stories and pretty broad across a big plot of land, at the end of a road and surrounded by a forest and a privacy fence.
It had a long driveway that curved up from the road, ran alongside the front of the house, and curved back.
There were already some twenty cars parked on it and out on the street as well.
They parked where they could find space and gathered to make the long walk up to the front door.
Gabe felt that same sense of surreality slip over him as he approached with Ellen, Chloe, and Holly to one side and Krystal and Liz to the other.
All of them wearing their medallions. He did wonder if he could get something to indicate himself as Gabe, but then he thought back to what he’d told Ellen way back when they’d originally come up with the idea.
It was less about letting people know who he was, and more about letting them know who they belonged to.
The main gate in the privacy fence was open and let onto a brick pathway that led to a broad set of stonework stairs which in turn led up to a huge porch that ran the entire length of the front of the house. They rang the bell and the front door opened to reveal an ash blonde woman in a red dress.
“Hi! Um…” She looked at them all for a moment in surprise, almost in shock, then seemed to recompose herself. “Sorry, uh, you must be Gabe and his...group. Abby mentioned you. Please, come in.”
“Thank you,” Gabe replied, listening to Krystal and Chloe and even Ellen laughing a little.
“Board games are down there,” she said, pointing to a stairwell leading down into what he imagined was a no doubt huge basement.
“Food’s through there, video games in there, and there’s a bonfire starting soon out back through there.
” She pointed to openings in the wall of the huge foyer they’d come into. “Welcome to Summer in Winter.”
“Thank you for having us,” Ellen replied. “How do you know Abby and Em?”
“I was a lawyer at Abby’s firm. I’d been there for a while already when she started.” She gave Ellen a measured look. “You’re Ellen, right? You must be.”
She laughed. “Yes, I am.”
“Can I borrow you? I have questions. About your relationship...s. If that’s not rude. Abby said you wouldn’t mind.”
Ellen laughed again, a little harder. “I won’t mind. Honestly, I love talking about my relationships.” She looked to Gabe, raising one pale blonde eyebrow.
“Yeah, have fun, babe,” he replied.
She smiled and kissed him, then walked off with their hostess. He turned to look at the others, who were hanging their hoodies up, and that’s when Chloe and Krystal and Liz all turned to face him with big grins on their faces.
“...are you fucking serious?” he asked.
“Absolutely completely serious,” Krystal replied as Chloe and Liz started laughing.
“Oh wow, so that’s what it was about,” Holly murmured.
All three of them were wearing shirts of similar style and coloring to the one they had insisted Gabe wear to the party, only theirs said: I’M HIS DRUM.
“You are so fucking immature,” he muttered, taking his hoodie off and hanging it up.
“Don’t even play like you aren’t happy!” Chloe shot back.
“I mean I didn’t say that. Just…” He sighed. “Whatever. Go have fun. I need to see if Sadie’s here.”
“Time to see what video games are in this mansion!” Krystal declared, and she and Chloe hurried off, with Holly trailing behind them, looking deeply amused.
“Mind if I stick around?” Liz asked.
“Not at all.”
She grinned and took his hand. He laced their fingers together and led her first into the video game area.
He found a large room with an impressive array of gaming consoles.
There were couches, chairs, and beanbags spread out and each corner seemed to be dedicated to something.
Two of them were clearly dedicated to multiplayer competitive games.
One group was playing an online shooter and another, (already joined by Chloe), was playing a cooperative survival-horror.
Another corner had a few actual arcade cabinets and the last one, where Krystal and Holly were settling in, held a bunch of retro consoles.
“Holy shit,” Gabe muttered, taking it all in, “she might have questions about our relationship, but I’ve got questions about this woman’s lifestyle. This feels like an insanely awesome but unlikely thing to find in a lawyer’s mansion.”
“Yeah…” Liz murmured. “Sometimes I feel weird that I can’t get into video games.”
“Why, particularly?” he asked, leading her through an opening to the right and in the direction of the back porch.
“It’s such a massive thing in our society now.
When I was growing up, it was getting more popular, but it was still kinda niche.
But now it’s just everywhere. Now I’m the odd one out because I don’t play games.
Everyone plays games on their computers, on their TVs, on their phones, at other people’s houses, on the bus, in the park… ”
“Have you tried getting more into them?”
“I have, but it always seems to fail. I just can’t find something that really holds my attention. The little time-eaters don’t do it for me and the big sweeping epic RPGs are just...too much. I know there’s more, but…” She shrugged.
“On the one hand, it’s fine that you don’t play video games if you don’t want to. On the other hand, if you do want to...you’re kind of competitive. Have you considered something online? Maybe a shooter? You seem to have good reflexes.”
“Honestly that’s what interested me the most, but Krystal kind of warned me away from it because she said they’re all so insanely toxic, and the moment they find out you’re a woman, the toxicity jumps a hundredfold. And I’ve never really felt strongly enough about it to try, I guess.”
“You could play without a mic,” he replied. “Also...okay, I’m reluctant to feed this particular wolf in you, but I think you might get a hell of a kick out of destroying stupid assholes online and rubbing their faces in it.”
“Yeah…” she admitted, a smile slowly spreading on her face. “I would.”
“You could play through some co-op shooter campaigns with me to get a feel for it. I’ve got a couple and we can buy more. There’s a pretty cool action-horror shooter trilogy that I’ve got and there’s supposed to be a fourth one coming soon.”
“I want to at least try this,” she replied. “So yes, I will absolutely do this with you.” Her smile suddenly changed in quality. “Will this be primo writing fodder for My Jacked Tomboy?”
“Absolutely.”
“I have to admit, I’m really curious to see what you write about me.”
“Honestly, so am I.”
They came to the backdoor, which turned out to be a pair of fancy, mostly-glass doors that were propped open, letting the chill night air with a kiss of smoke in.
The back porch was a huge deck with three separate tables with glass tops and umbrellas and their own orbits of chairs.
Beyond the deck, he could see that the bonfire was lit, and it was surrounded by people, near the edge of a stream that ran through the property.
He saw a familiar figure standing alone on the back deck, leaning on the wooden railing, staring at the fire.
“Hello, pretty lady,” he said, coming up beside her.
“Gabe,” Sadie replied, smiling. “Hello, Liz.”
“Hi, Sadie. I’m glad you’re here.”
“So am I. I used to come to parties like these when I was a teenager.” She paused.
“Well, not like this exactly, with the mansion, but with the bonfire in the woods or someone’s backyard, at the edge of a lake maybe.
People just hanging out, eating some pizza, drinking a little booze, smoking a little weed, relaxing and talking.
I thought I’d aged out, but I don’t feel out of place here. ”
“That makes me really happy to hear,” Gabe replied, slipping an arm around her waist.
“I bet I know something else that would make you really happy,” she murmured, stepping closer, so that she was pressed up against him.
“You ready?” he asked.
“I am. I...scoped out a place, while I was waiting for you.”
“You going to be all right for a bit?” he asked, looking at Liz.
“I will be fine, lover boy,” she replied.
“I’ll go mingle down by the fire, then go bug Krystal if I get bored.
Maybe, uh...huh, I just realized our hostess forgot to give us her name.
She must’ve been too distracted. But I’m sure she’ll want to grill me for details if she’s interested in our relationships. ”
“You are all quite distracting and interesting,” Sadie murmured.
“Have fun you two,” Liz replied, grinning as Sadie took his hand and began leading him away.
Gabe felt a fresh thrill of excitement pulse through him as Sadie took him back inside.
“Hopefully our hostess won’t be annoyed,” Gabe murmured.
“We’ll be discreet. And quick. I imagine you won’t last long doing something so filthy,” Sadie replied, smiling seductively as she led him upstairs.
“Probably not,” he agreed.
He felt the urge to ask her things, mostly about how she’d been doing since they’d last talked, but his lust kept getting in the way and he said nothing as she brought him to the second story. Most of the doors were closed and it was quiet up here.
Sadie brought him quickly and eagerly to one door and opened it up.
“Wait, here?” he asked uncertainly as she tugged him inside.
“Here,” she replied firmly, flipping on the light and shutting the door.
She’d brought him to a laundry room. She began undoing her jeans and dropped them, revealing that she wore no panties.
“You make me feel like a slut,” she whispered huskily, getting out of her shoes and jeans and then putting the jeans up on the washing machine’s top.
She hopped up onto it, settling her well-padded ass onto her jeans to protect it from the cold metal lid.
She pulled her sweater up, freeing her breasts. No bra, either. “Now fuck me, Gabe.”
“All right, let me see if this door has a lock–”
“No, leave it.”
Man she was in a fucking mood right now.
A sultry, slutty, lusty mood. It infected him and lit him up like a livewire.
He hurried over to her and unzipped his pants and began digging himself out.
She grabbed him and kissed him passionately on the mouth, shoving her tongue in to dance with his own. He managed to dig himself out.
“I’m so fucking wet,” she panted. “You’re going to have to put a hand over my mouth. I’m going to be too loud.”
“I can do that.”
He kissed her first as he slipped inside of her and oh good fucking lord was she truly wet. He slipped right in to her sweet, mature pussy and she wrapped her legs around him as he did. Holding him there for a few seconds and tilting her head, deepening the kiss and moaning into his mouth.
“I feel so fucking filthy,” she panted as he stroked into her when they broke the kiss, “this feels so bad-mmm!”
He clapped his hand over her mouth and stared into her eyes, starting to stroke faster and causing her to cry out.
“You are filthy,” he muttered, “you are a filthy, slutty old whore and you fucking deserve this, Sadie.”
She moaned even louder and started screaming against his hand. Gabe abruptly realized what was about to happen and barely managed to get his pants and boxers down before she sprayed him with a burst of her sex juices. She moaned loudly, writhing and twitching as her eyes rolled up.
“Oh fuck, Sadie!” he groaned, going harder and faster.
“YES!” she shrieked, her voice muffled as he struggled to hold onto her.
Gabe groaned as his orgasm burst into existence.
He couldn’t have held it back if he was trying with all his might.
His gaze unfocused as he rested his forehead against Sadie’s own, staring directly into her eyes, his hand between them.
She was gripping him tightly with her legs now, screaming repeatedly as he thrust into her, each thrust releasing a fresh spurt of his seed, more juices spraying out of her.
It was beyond bliss.
And then it was over, and they were both left panting and shaky. Gabe slowly lowered his hand.
“Oh, oh my lord, oh, Gabe,” she whispered.
“I cannot fucking believe sex with you,” he murmured in reply.
She laughed softly. “Was it that good?”
“More than that.”
She laughed again, then groaned. “Oh, my back. Shit.”
“You okay?”
“Yeah, but now I feel bad. I made a mess. Oh lord, I have to clean this up,” she whispered. “Here, um, help me. There’s some tissues in my pocket.”
“Your pocket? Where...oh, you’re on it still.”
“What? Oh, right. Shit. Oh, my head is spinning,” she whispered.
He pulled out of her and she immediately cupped a hand over her vagina. She hopped up and he grabbed her jeans and fished the tissues out.
“You made a mess all right,” he murmured, looking down at himself.
“There’s some more in the other pocket.”
He fished a second wad out and did his best to clean himself up. He needed to at least be able to put his pants back on so he could get to a bathroom.
“All right,” Sadie whispered, blinking several times. “Let’s, uh, let’s get this figured out.”
