CHAPTER THIRTY FIVE #4
“I mean, I get that, but what about your five...wife-girlfriends?” she asked. “Also, wait, didn’t that older woman say she was with you, too?”
“Yeah, she’s-uh, we’re...you know, together. Sort of. We had sex here a few hours ago.” His eyes bulged. “Why the fuck did I just say that?”
Kim laughed loudly. “Holy fuck me, seriously?! What, in the house?!”
“...yeah. Shit. Maybe don’t tell anyone else that.”
“With her? She seems so...sweet.”
“She is. She’s also horny and into me and-we should stop talking about this. You are apparently making me say stupid shit.” Gabe groaned, feeling his cheeks burning.
It felt like he’d tried to climb a very tall tree, got most of the way there, then the branch he was holding had snapped and he was falling and hitting every single other branch on the way down.
“It’s been a surprising night for both of us,” Kim said after a moment, looking, mercifully, amused.
She stood up suddenly. “All right, man. I am...kind of overwhelmed by everything that just happened, so I think I’m going to cut out.
But...I’m interested. In a date. Only if your other ladies are okay with it.
I don’t have anything going on right now romantically... or even casually.”
He looked up, then got to his feet. “We should exchange numbers.”
“We should,” she agreed. They did, and he texted her to make sure they had it right. “Okay. I’m going to head out now.”
“Wait,” he said, and she turned back, one dark eyebrow raised. “Um...one more kiss?”
Her amusement grew and she considered it for a moment, then she nodded.
She let him come to her this time. He did, stepping closer and putting his hands on her hips lightly.
Careful of her body language, he leaned in and pressed his lips to hers.
It was slower this time, definitely more sensual.
A small sound escaped her as he tilted his head and deepened the kiss.
Another came as he slipped his tongue into her mouth.
Her body language was tentative but inviting.
It grew firmer as their tongues touched and he felt an intense thrill of lusty excited desire.
He slipped his hands slowly around to her ass and found it so amazingly fit and firm.
She pushed her tongue into his mouth now and herself against him.
The kiss lasted another ten seconds or so, then she pulled back.
“Okay, yeah, definitely interested in a date,” she said, flushed herself now, breathing a little more heavily.
“Same,” he agreed, chuckling awkwardly.
“I’ll text you when I’m ready.”
“Okay.”
She turned and began walking away. Gabe remained standing there, watching her until she got into her car and drove away. Then he turned around and walked back into the house, and almost walked into the crowd of his gathered ladies. All of them were there, including Sadie, and even Emily and Abby.
“What happened?!” Ellen demanded.
“Um...we talked. We got a little caught up. I...asked her on a date.”
“Gabe,” Krystal said, her expression one of comical excitement.
“Wow,” Liz murmured.
“After that kiss she gave you, I’m not surprised,” Sadie said.
“We kissed again,” he replied.
“Did she initiate, or did you?” Ellen asked.
“I did. I asked, just before she left. It went pretty well.”
“I fucking called it,” Krystal said. “As soon as I heard about boxer chick I fucking knew she was going be involved someday.”
“We should probably talk about this,” Gabe replied.
“We can make this really easy,” Ellen said. “Everyone who’s cool with Kim joining this little harem of ours, raise your hand?”
They all raised their hands. Even Sadie and Emily and Abby.
“There, it’s talked about,” Ellen said. “You are free to pursue.”
“This is happening really fast,” he muttered.
“Sometimes opportunities fall into your lap,” Abby said, looking just as amused as the others. “And sometimes you have to hop on them. And your lovers know this, and wish to facilitate the process.”
“You’re welcome,” Chloe said haughtily.
“Oh my fucking God,” he groaned. “If this does actually work out, and we do start dating, she’s like an angrier, more aggressive version of Chloe.”
Emily laughed loudly. “You are so fucked.”
Gabe realized she might be right.
He thought about it. Thought about how complicated his life already was right now. About how complicated it would become to involve another woman, especially if that woman was Kim.
But as he thought it, a kind of peace settled over him.
It wasn’t resignation so much as acceptance.
If a complicated life was the price he had to pay to have this much love around him…
Then it was a price he would gladly pay.
