Chapter 40

CHAPTER FORTY

ISABELLE

Ihugged Sophie tightly, Liz leaning in to peck me on both cheeks, demanding I call them if I needed anything before bustling her wife into the car and disappearing down the winding driveway.

“What now?” Ben had wrapped me back into his hold as soon as Sophie released me. He wasn’t done with reassuring himself that I was back and I had no interest in stopping him.

I couldn’t believe I was back with them any more than they could believe they had me back.

“I stink, my makeup is still everywhere and I want to wash yesterday’s entire ordeal off me.” I turned, Ben remaining plastered to my back, and shuffled back indoors.

“Let me check you over again first.” Seb had a handful of medical devices laid out on the kitchen table. His tone brooked no argument so I didn’t bother.

I slid onto the chair he’d pulled out and allowed him to wrap the blood-pressure cuff around my arm. “Any dizziness this morning?”

“I’ve already told you, no,” I sassed.

He raised a brow but carried on. “Do you feel tired or groggy? The sedatives could affect you for a few days.”

“Seb,” I moaned.

He lifted a thermometer and I opened my mouth for him to place it under my tongue.

“Well?” he asked.

I gave him a joking glare, wiggling the thermometer which only served to entertain him.

I shook my head.

“Excellent. I recommend that we take it easy, nothing strenuous, nothing exerting, nothing stressful and absolutely no upset for the next few days. Bed rest, perhaps?” He snagged the thermometer from my mouth, checking it.

“Absolutely not. I’m not on bed rest. I was drugged. I slept it off. Done.” I eyeballed him and he chose not to argue.

“Suit yourself.” He gathered the items back up and returned them to the boot room.

“Is it done?” I asked Alex when he slipped into the kitchen, his body still coiled. The tension eased from him when he saw me.

“Yep, this morning’s news cycle,” he replied. Stepping into my space.

Things had been tense with Alex last night. It didn’t stop them all from piling into one bedroom and sleeping with their bodies touching mine. But I was at a bit of an impasse with my husband.

“Do you want to see?” he asked.

“You’ve got to be kidding me, what did I just say about stress?” Seb grumbled before throwing his arms up in defeat when we both glared at him.

“Do I need to?”

“Nope. The synopsis is that it was all a horrible misunderstanding and all in all they couldn’t be more overjoyed for our families to be joined. It’s all just a beautiful outcome from a horrible situation. The Fairchilds have taken the heartbroken-but-wish-us-the-best approach,” Alex summarised.

“Liars.” I laughed.

Alex grinned widely and he’d cupped my jaw before either of us realised it, his eyes softening.

“None of that!” Seb pulled us apart. “Doctor’s orders!”

“I’m going for a shower.” I slipped out of his reach.

“Need company?”

I stalled at Alex’s comment, I hadn’t expected him to be the more forward of the three.

“I think Seb will have a heart attack,” I argued.

“More for us then.” Ben descended the stairs.

Seb grumbled furiously behind me.

“Hey, I’m all for it, but you’ve got to convince the doctor to sign me off!” I dodged for the stairs, the quiet complaints of the men disappearing behind me as I slunk into the bathroom.

I hadn’t lied, I felt completely better. The dizziness and headaches all but gone after a good night’s sleep.

I scrubbed the wedding from my skin. I scrubbed away the drugs and the threats and the horror.

I hadn’t seen the wedding dress since I’d woken in my bedroom and I secretly hoped they’d burned it.

If they hadn’t, then I would.

I half expected to be ambushed on my way back to my room, but I wasn’t.

My clothes weren’t there, so I checked Ben’s and sure enough several shelves were stocked with my clothing.

I dressed, anticipating someone would be in the bedroom when I was finished, but again, there was no-one there.

I located them in the living area, where a nest of blankets and cushions was arranged across the floor.

Ben saw me first. “The doctor is demanding rest and you said you didn’t want to be in bed.” He looked thrilled, pointing to the set-up. “So, we compromised.”

I lowered myself onto the temporary bedding. “Is this a mattress?”

“Uh-huh.” Seb crawled across, leaning to peck me on the forehead. “Still, not big enough for the four of us so I got the sofa.”

I didn’t hide my pout and he laughed.

“You’re holding back,” I complained.

Seb looked briefly conflicted. “I don’t want to rush you. Rest – remember?”

“I’ll use my words like a big girl if you do,” I argued.

Now it was Seb’s turn to pout, this must have been taking all his self-control.

“I can’t help but notice how keen you all seemed to be to ensure I had the luxury of choice. And yet here I am, being denied.”

Seb looked slightly aggrieved.

“Is that so…” Ben tucked himself beside me and Seb sulkily took up his agreed position on the sofa. “Tell us, Sugar. What now, then?”

Alex hovered by the sofa, still seemingly unsure.

Why were they all behaving like I was breakable?

“Do we have a pharmacy nearby?” I asked, decision made in my head. If they wouldn’t listen, I would show them. Still, I’d heard enough of Seb’s details about my pills to know what I was about to do came with increased risks.

Seb frowned deeply. “I can get you emergency contraceptives, Killer, but…”

I smiled warmly but didn’t wait for him to finish. I cupped Ben’s cheek, swinging my leg over his lap and then kissed him.

Ben kissed me back, opening his mouth and pressing his tongue to meet mine.

My kiss was soft but I poured all the words into it that I hadn’t said out loud.

Ben shuddered, dragging me close, arms wrapped around my waist.

Our kiss quickly turned hungry, Ben drawing his teeth across my lip, startling me.

An anguished groan from the sofa was all the warning we had before Seb’s hand collared my throat, lifting me from Ben’s lips.

His pupils were blown. His control wasn’t holding out.

He pressed a hard kiss to Ben who arched towards him, then he did the same to me.

“You’re so beautiful together.” His voice was rough.

Ben’s hips began to shift underneath me, the friction bringing my attention to the surging liquid heat in my centre. My choice to forgo underwear beneath the large t-shirt of Ben’s emboldening me.

I didn’t hesitate, slipping my hand between our bodies and running it over Ben’s erection.

He bucked up into me and I slipped inside his lounge pants. The moment my fingers found the smooth skin of his dick I whimpered.

I rose and I locked eyes with him, finding desperate hunger there and grinned, flicking him free of his clothing and lowering myself onto him.

Seb’s fingers flexed on my neck and I threw my head back when my hips came flush against Ben’s whimpering at the burning stretch.

I rolled my hips, drawing up and letting Ben drag me back down onto him heavily. I shuddered at the impact.

Seb tightened his hold on my throat and my attention snapped to him. He then turned me to see my untethered desperation matched in the way Alex watched me.

My awareness was drawn to where he dragged his palm roughly over the front of his jeans, massaging the telltale bulge there.

“Are you okay, Killer?” Seb’s voice broke my focus, entranced by the heavy way Alex was handling himself.

I wanted him to handle me that way.

“Yes,” I panted. “Please?”

“You have to tell us, Izzy,” he demanded.

I sobered slightly at his concern.

Ben rocked his hips into me, unable to keep still and I mewled.

“I will, I promise,” I reassured him.

Seb’s eyes shuttered and he snatched me from Ben’s lap.

Ben didn’t need to be told what to do, rising, he stripped. Seb snatched the t-shirt over my head and gasped at my nakedness. “You were going to seduce us?”

“It didn’t take much.”

Seb slapped my ass sharply then palmed the skin, the warm burn lessening making me writhe under his attention.

“On your knees,” Alex demanded. His top was off, his jeans unzipped and opened, he’d withdrawn his cock. His large fist gripped it, barely closing around his size.

My mouth watered and I lowered myself to my knees.

“Let’s go, Firecracker. You tap my leg if you can’t speak, got it?”

I nodded, leaning over him and sucking him deeply into my mouth.

“Holy shit,” he muttered, his fingers wrapping into my damp tresses as he pressed me down onto him and I tried to relax.

I squealed around Alex’s dick when my hips were lifted, dragging me backwards. The pressure of the cock between my legs and slamming into me pushed me forwards onto Alex, his length hitting the back of my mouth. I gagged and Alex rocked up, edging into my throat.

“Jesus, Sugar,” Ben growled, driving deep and grazing the area inside that he knew would have me coming almost immediately.

Tears leaked from my eyes while Ben’s fingers caressed my hips, drawing me back, giving me a second to breathe before hammering forwards and pushing me back onto Alex.

Then they set a pace, each thrust driving me onto Alex over and over, until he lodged deeply in my throat, my air lost. I raised my hand to tap out, but I was drawn back, gasping in a breath.

I cried out around Alex when a tongue glanced across my clit, then sucked it harshly. My body arching between the two men, I broke apart on an orgasm. Whimpering and groaning as Alex slid in and out of my throat.

“She feels like silk.” Ben slammed into me, the action dragging out my climax until the shudders wracking my body subsided. The haze of lust didn’t clear.

Something wet glanced over the delicate ring of muscle that I’d never allowed anyone else near and I bucked.

“Hush, Killer, you can trust me,” Seb whispered by my ear, his damp finger circling a few times before stopping.

I mumbled around Alex, his dick thickening, beginning to twitch in my mouth before he wrenched me off. “Good girl,” he groaned as he ran his thumb over my lips, looking like a man on the edge.

I bent to take him back into my mouth, but he stopped me.
