PART TEN #3

“Perhaps, but it is only a problem if you make it one.” She glances at the door to the palace, where Athos last stood. “Personally I prefer it now. I wouldn’t go back to just one, where is the fun in that!”

“Go on.”

“Their cocks are not independent, if one is hard they are both hard, if one releases seed they both do, but that doesn’t mean you can’t just use one if that suits you. Or…you can use both, one in each hole, if you know what I mean.”

I did know exactly what she meant. “But they prefer to use both. Have both stimulated at the same time, right?”

“It is what they are used to. Planet Hade women had two vaginas and two wombs, they could have multiple pregnancies at the same time at different stages.”

“Really?”

“Yes, really. Siblings could be just days or weeks apart.”

I nod slowly, taking this in. “So the males evolved to have two cocks. It was advantageous to reproduction.”

“Yes, though we have one big advantage over our predecessors.”

“What is that?”

“We have a clitoris, Planet Hade women didn’t, they never climaxed, mating was for procreation only for them, nothing else. Which is why our new alien men are so keen to learn about female pleasure. They want us to have what we are used to, they want to experience climax with us.”

I blow out a breath and look at the sky. It’s streaked with rose pinks and juicy oranges. A few fluffy purple clouds float near the suns. Athos was certainly fascinated by my clitoris and my orgasm the night before. “And your mate, Zuri, he is good to you?”

“In every way, including the bedchamber.”

She smiles broadly, her entire face lighting up.

She was pretty before but now she is beautiful.

“He loves me for who I am, he would never hurt me, he’d protect me from anything big or small with his life, and I know for a fact he will never cheat on me, his loyalty is unbreakable.”

“You are very lucky.”

“We are very lucky.” She leans forward again, her eyes earnest.

“These alien mates are what we deserve, what we were missing on Earth. We are all here for a reason. We were all chasing dreams but ending up in nightmares. Here…”

She gestures to the square which now has a few stands setting up, as if for a market. “Here it is paradise.”

“Paradise.”

“If you don’t count the Jakarty.”

I frown. “What is that?”

“The other side of the mountains, Your Majesty.”

She gestures into the distance with a flippant flick of her hand.

“But we don’t need to worry about them, not with our new strong warrior mates. You know their tails, while super sensitive and a lot of fun to play with.”

She pauses and raises her eyebrows. “Can take an enemy’s head off with one whip.”

“Really?” I clench my fists at the thought. “They are a weapon?”

“Or a useful tool to get your own way. Try playing with the very tip if you need to persuade him on any matter.” She giggles. “Can I ask you a question, if it is not too presumptuous?”

I touch the crown upon my head. “You may.” I am not used to this kind of respect but I try not to show it. I am queen now, so I keep being told.

“How are you getting alone with His Majesty King Athos?”

“We are…” I sigh and close my eyes. “It is taking some adjusting to my new role as mate and queen.”

“I believe you will make him proud and be a strong, wise queen. It is what he needs my mate tells me. He lost his female and his daughter princesses, like every other male, when the virus came. They are hard wounds to heal.”

“Grief is a bitter pill.”

She nods and closes her eyes. Her long lashes almost resting on her cheeks. “Indeed they are.” She opens her eyes, her attention on My-Tai again. “But time and new loves are great antidotes. Perhaps you will also find new happiness when you commence the breeding program.”

I stand and go to the balcony. I stare out at the cityscape and then set my attention on a small flock of golden birds. “I hope so.”

She stands as though sensing my wish to be alone. “I thank you for your time. And it is an honor to meet you, my queen. If ever I can be of service, then please summon me.”

I turn to her. “There is something you can do?”

“There is? Anything?” She smiles and shifts the child on her hip. “Please just say the word.”

“I would really like a friend.”

“A friend?” She presses her hand to her chest. “It would be my greatest honor.”

“So you will visit me again?”

“Yes, of course.”

I step up to her and touch My-Tai’s tiny hand. His sweet little baby nails are dark and he curls his fingers around one of mine. “You have a beautiful child, thank you for bringing him to see me.”

She kisses his head. “He is the light of my life.”

“I can tell.” I have always wanted children. The broodiness started young and I had hoped Damon might have proven worthy of starting a family with. But he was a loser and a dropout so thank goodness I hadn’t.

“The king is a good male,” Zuri says quietly and studies my face. “He has never let his people down and he won’t let you down.”

I nod and step away. “Next time you visit I will have the kitchen prepare us lunch, perhaps some wine to go with it.”

She grins. “I am already looking forward to our friendship.”
