Chapter 21

HYMN

“Can girls play football?”

“Of course, girls can play football. They even have teams that are only for girls.”

“Really?” Star’s eyes widened with excitement. “I want to learn to play football.”

It had been two months since I met the girls, and I was proud of the fact that I could tell them apart.

Star had a slight dimple in her right cheek that her sisters didn’t have.

Serenity had a small birthmark on her neck, and Sky was just a tad chunkier than the other two.

Sometimes, they tried to trick me, but I was on it.

“I’ll teach you then.”

“Yayyyyy,” she jumped up and down.

The girls were turning six in a few weeks, and they wanted to have a party at the skating rink, so Brion was making it happen.

She did everything on her own and wouldn’t let me help pay for anything, so I told the girls to make a list of what they wanted for their birthday.

All three were crazy long, but I got every item on the list. I had even found the mini tea cup poodle that Sky wanted.

“I think you guys are about to leave, but I got you next weekend, okay?”

She nodded eagerly. Brion walked into the living room looking like a million fucking dollars.

Dressed in yellow shorts and a sleeveless, denim button up shirt, with yellow, strappy heels on her feet her toned legs and thick thighs were making my dick brick up.

Those pretty ass white toes were doing something to a nigga.

I loved the fact that she had a bare face aside from lash extensions and gloss.

Brion was filming for the reality show and the fact that she was confident enough to go on camera with no makeup spoke volumes.

She was bad as fuck, and I was happy that she knew it.

She was on her way to London’s house, and they were filming her gender reveal.

She was still living on her own. Isaac had no clue if she was going to take him back, and that nigga was sick.

She admitted that she shouldn’t have been communicating with her ex without mentioning it, and he knew he fucked up by having a threesome.

Though she admitted where she was wrong, what he did was still worse than what she did, and Isaac was scared as hell that London was done with him. Only time would tell.

“Y’all ready to go see grandma?”

“Yes.”

The girls ran to the room I had given them at my condo, and Brion walked over to me. “Hopefully, we won’t be filming for more than three hours. I’ll come back before I pick the girls up, so I can get you right,” she smirked.

I was about to leave for my three-week trip to Tokyo, and I had been on Brion’s ass bad. I couldn’t get enough of her. She was flying out to join me for my last week, but two weeks without her was a long ass time.

“You still gon’ do that when you go to the doctor next week?”

“Yes. I’m getting my IUD taken out.”

“Good shit.”

I pecked her lips and smacked her on the ass.

Every time Brion left my presence all I could think about was the fact that her ex was one goofy ass nigga.

When I got back from Tokyo, Ken was throwing me a bachelor party.

Josie and Alisa were taking Brion on a bachelorette trip to Cancun.

I wasn’t necessarily in a rush to get married, but I knew once the season started, I’d be too busy to even think about a wedding, and a honeymoon wouldn’t be an option.

For those reasons, we weren’t wasting any time, but I didn’t feel like we were making a mistake.

No one could tell me that Brion wasn’t the one for me.

She was my soulmate, and I was standing ten toes behind that shit.
