Dear Mum,

I’m really sorry if I hurt your feelings by leaving so abruptly; I think I just wanted things to change and I didn’t know how to go about it.

I still don’t think we should live together anymore—I’m actually going to be moving in with Angie—but I’m not planning on flying off to Bali anytime soon. I would love to live close enough that I can come round and watch Grey’s Anatomy whenever we feel like it.
