Chapter 9
Chapter 9
I t was the week before Thanksgiving. ZsaZsa and James had been spending every free moment they could together. Classes were about to end for the holiday break, and she could not wait to share Thanksgiving with him. One day ZsaZsa joined Phire on a visit to her sister’s house to try on dresses for a job interview. On the way over they talked about the two men in their lives.
“I’m going to need a few outfits for the weekend,” ZsaZsa stated then asked, “Can your sisters help me put together outfits?”
“What’s wrong with your clothes? You have really nice cultural outfits,” Phire stated.
“I know, but I want to wear something one night that is special.” ZsaZsa stated.
Phire raised an eyebrow. “Special how? Like get busy special or knock him on his knees special?”
“I think, knock him on his knees special,” ZsaZsa replied as they pulled into the driveway of Diamond’s house. Once they parked the car, ZsaZsa looked up. “I like this house,” she commented as they walked into the front door.
“Zachary, Diamond’s husband, built it from nothing,” Phire advised as they walked off the staircase leading to the bedrooms. “Wait until you see this closet,” Phire said as she hurried towards the open double doors at the end of the hallway.
Phire was right, ZsaZsa thought as they walked into the closet in the main bedroom. The closet was a room with white shelving throughout. There were drawers on the left, clothes that were color coordinated on the back wall, and small sectional cabinets on the right. In the center was a sofa with a huge full-length mirror in front of it.
For the next thirty minutes she watched Phire’s sisters dress her in several outfits. She knew exactly what the sisters were going for when Phire came back into the room wearing a blue suit with a white blouse draped underneath. Everyone’s jaws dropped.
“Bam! There it is,” Opal proclaimed.
Diamond turned to look at Phire. “That’s the outfit.”
“Nice. Really nice. Mrs. Davenport,” ZsaZsa called out as she sat on the sofa. “Do you think you and your sister can help me too?”
“James Jr. has invited her to the Brooks’ estate for Thanksgiving,” Phire said in a proper tone. “She wants to wear something that will knock James to his knees.”
“Oh, really?” Diamond smiled. “I’m sure we can hook you up. What do you think, Opal?” she turned to the monitor that was mounted on the back wall.
“Of course we can,” Opal replied.
With that decided, they turned their attention to ZsaZsa.
“Now you, Princess ZsaZsa.” Diamond glanced over her. “What exactly are you trying to accomplish with James Jr.?”
“Yes, do you want his tongue hanging out of his mouth when he sees you or do you want him fighting mad if anyone else looks your way?” Opal asked.
“I do not believe James will have that reaction towards me.” ZsaZsa laughed at the women. “I do not believe I will look as beautiful as Phire.”
“You’re not supposed to look like Phire.”
“She thinks Deirdre has something over her,” Phire explained. “All she has are big boobs and a big butt.”
“That is what men are desiring,” ZsaZsa stated.
“Well, you are not Phire, or Deirdre,” Diamond exclaimed. “James Jr. isn’t going out with either of them. He is going out with you.”
“Besides, you have something that none of them have,” Opal stated.
“What?” ZsaZsa asked with curiosity.
Opal just stared at her through the monitor, as Phire and Diamond stared on. “Have you ever looked into a mirror?” Opal asked.
“Yes. I did earlier today,” ZsaZsa replied. “I do not have any of the attributes of my roommates. It seems I have the body of a young boy.”
“Negative,” Diamond stated. “You have the body of a princess. It seems you do not see in yourself what others see in you…what James Jr. sees in you. Come here.”
ZsaZsa walked over to Diamond, who stood behind her. They were both facing the full-length mirror.
“Tell me, what do you see?” Diamond asked as she looked over her shoulder.
“Start at the top of your head,” Phire instructed.
ZsaZsa held out her thick braid that she wrapped around her head like a crown. “My hair is…”
“Beautiful and natural,” Opal stated. “I wish my hair was that thick.”
ZsaZsa’s forehead frowned as she tried to look at her hair as Opal had.
“May I?” Diamond took the braid from her. She began to take it a loose. Once she was done, Diamond spread her hair over her shoulders.
“Damn, girl. How do you braid all that hair up?” Opal asked.
“It’s beautiful,” Phire said as she touched her hair somewhat shocked. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen your hair down. It is so soft.”
“I use the natural oils from my country and braid it up each night after my shower.” ZsaZsa explained.
“Okay,” Diamond smiled at her in the mirror. “We are going to start, by leaving your hair down. What’s your favorite color?”
“Oh, Diamond, pull out the navy off the shoulder dress,” Opal suggested.
“The halter top one?” She asked while nodding her head. “The coloring will be beautiful on her.”
“Ooh, you’re going to have her shoulders out?” Phire smiled.
“Will it be low?” ZsaZsa asked concerned.
“No. Your body, other than your shoulders from here,” Diamond pointed, “to here, will be covered. You have a nice body, however, with the right dress, it will show off your assets beautifully. Let me show you.”
ZsaZsa gazed at Phire as her sister walked away. “If I could look a fraction as good as you did in your dress, I will be very happy.”
“Here you are,” Diamond said as she returned. She held it up in front of her.
ZsaZsa looked at the mirror. “This is beautiful. May I try this on?”
“Of course,” Diamond smiled. “Go in the other room and I will pull out some accessories.”
ZsaZsa had to admit, she was a little excited. The rich color of the dress called out to her. The blue was so vibrant. She put on the dress, and it felt wonderful on her body. The material was pure silk, like what she would find in her country.
“ZsaZsa, come on. I want to see,” Phire called.
ZsaZsa exhaled. It was rare that her shoulders were bare, but it was as Mrs. Davenport had stated. It did not expose any part of her body she was not comfortable with.
ZsaZsa stepped back into the room. There was an audible gasp. “Oh my goodness,” Phire said. “Who knew you had all of that under those clothes you wear. You got a booty girl.”
“Come,” Diamond said as she took her hand. “Take a look at yourself.”
ZsaZsa looked in the mirror and could not believe what she saw. “This is…this is sexy.”
“Yes, you are,” Opal said. “Diamond get the clear heels.”
“What size shoe do you wear?” Diamond asked.
“Same size I do,” Phire answered. “Look at you. If you don’t want to have sex with James Jr. I don’t think you should tease him with that dress. I’m just saying. I don’t see you making it home with that dress still on.”
ZsaZsa blushed. “It makes me look very different, does it not?”
“Yes, it does,” Phire said as she took the bulk of her hair and placed it across one shoulder.
“Oh my, yes.” Diamond exclaimed. “Hold on I know exactly what you need.”
She ran out of the room. ZsaZsa had never liked wearing her hair down but couldn't help but admire the way she was looking in the dress.
Diamond came back with a gold comb. She placed it in her hair to hold it in place. “Now, put on these earrings.”
ZsaZsa took out her simple diamond studs that she wore every day, then put on the gold dangling earrings given to her.
“Shoes,” Phire held them out. “Put these on.”
ZsaZsa looked at the heels and frowned. “I do not wear high heels.”
“You will with this dress.” Opal declared. “How tall is James Jr.”
“About six-two,” Phire stated. “He’s right up there with Elliott.”
“Yes, you are going to need a little height.” Opal advised. “We can teach you how to walk in them.”
“Without falling?” ZsaZsa asked.
“Of course.” Opal laughed. “There is nothing sexy about falling in heels, unless you know how to fall so the man of your dreams can catch you.”
“I would not mind falling into James’ arms,” ZsaZsa said with a blush.
“We can teach you that too.” Diamond smiled. “Now, let’s put on those shoes and get a total look.”
ZsaZsa put on the heels. She wobbled a little, but then stood straight. “Oh, goddess of beauty. Where have you been hiding?” ZsaZsa glanced at herself, then glanced at Phire and smiled. “James is not going to know the lioness is on the prowl.”
The women in the room all stared at her then burst into laughter.
