Epilogue
J ames walked into the compound to a round of applause and whistles. He took a slight bow as he laughed. “You guys are crazy.”
“Man, you flew to another continent, ventured into three different countries, just to get your woman back and the panther came out victorious.” Elliot clapped as he stood.
“My hat goes off to you.” Calvin chuckled. “I don't know what happened when you guys were captured, but man when you came across that banister you looked like a panther leaping for his prey.”
“The bottom line is, you and ZsaZsa are now straight,” JC said. “How is she doing?”
“No, the real question is how are you doing?” Elliott raised an eyebrow. “Is there a difference?”
“Difference in what?” Calvin asked.
“He's asking, is there a difference in having sex versus making love to a woman that you truly have feelings for?” JC broke down the question.
They all stopped talking, finally giving James a chance to respond. “ZsaZsa is heaven on earth. She took me to the clouds and back several times.” James smiled. “And yes, Elliot, there is definitely a difference. I cannot describe how invigorating it was making love with ZsaZsa. It is a feeling that is inexplicable and one that I am so blessed to have experienced. One day I want this for you guys.”
They were silent for a moment taking in the passion of James’ words.
“Congratulations man. I'm really happy for you and ZsaZsa.” JC stated.
“Yeah, me too man. It’s good to know that you and ZsaZsa are going to be together forever. That's pretty cool.” Calvin added.
“Are you changing your mind on getting with the honeys as much as you can before you settle down?” Elliot asked Calvin.
“No,” Calvin hesitated then shrugged. “Man, I don't know. It was good to see how committed ZsaZsa is to James and him to her. That's real love. I don't know if I'm ready for that kind of love. I mean you're talking about one woman, just one woman for the rest of your life.” He looked up at James. “Are you going to be able to handle that?”
“The truth of the matter is I haven't desired or touched another woman since we came back from our journey. The only woman that I want is ZsaZsa and now that I have her, we can start building our lives together.”
“Is that life going to be here in the United States or in Emure?” Calvin asked.
“We're going to be here in the United States,” James replied. “We are going to make trips to Emure to help with the changing of culture and the rebuilding of Zyrier. But our lives will be here. Speaking of which, something interesting happened while we were away.”
“What?” Elliott asked.
“One of the houses in the B-more project burned to the ground.” James advised.
“Was anyone hurt?” JC inquired.
“It was a vacant house,” James told them.
“A vacant house?” Elliott sat up curiously. “Do you think it was foul play?”
“According to what Ulysses shared with me, he believes that it was.” James shared. “We're going to have to add security to those properties sooner than we anticipated.”
“Do you think that Masters guy was behind it?” Calvin asked.
James nodded, “Yes, I do, and I think it's just the beginning.”
“I say let's not wait for the next shoe to drop. Add a double layer of security in place now.” Elliott stated just as his phone buzzed.
“I say we put some evasive maneuvers into play to convince them we're not the people to be messing with.” Calvin suggested.
“Hold on Dad. Who called and who's chasing her?” Elliott asked. All of the guys’ attention turned to his raised voice.
“OK, OK Dad, I'll be right there just hold tight.” Elliott disconnected the call. “Guys I got to go. Something's up with my dad.”
“Hold up we're riding with you.” James said as the guys grabbed their stuff ready for the next adventure their bond of friendship would take them on.
