“That’s my thoughts too. And she will struggle too.
This way, I know too that her bills are being paid and that she’s not spending the money on lottery tickets.
If she wants to do that, then the job will come in handy for her to be able to have her fun.
Or not. I don’t care.” He asked her to come to him.
“I don’t want to have sex right now. I do, but I have too much on my mind to enjoy it.
I have to settle this thing with my mother, and I’ll be all yours.
I promise you I’m going to make it up to you, too. ”
“You take your time. I’m here for you when you’re ready.” She thanked him, and he asked her to come to him so that he could hold her. “I know that I could use a good hug right now, and I’m sure that you need one too.”
“I do. I didn’t mean to be so harsh, but I need to get this settled up before my head explodes.
The simple fact that she’s hated me all my life is something that I’ll never get over, but at least with this contract, I can feel good about myself in doing something for her.
She is my mother after all.” He held her in his arms while she sat on his lap.
She talked about the contract and how she was hoping for something simple.
Just so there were no big words to mess her mother up.
“She’s going to have to realize that everything she said to me has consequences.
I knew that she didn’t want me around, but to tell me that she hated me from the start is something that I never knew.
I feel like my heart is bleeding from her words. ”
He held her until she fell asleep. Holding her in his arms, he knew that even though she was putting on a brave front about all this, she was hurting inside.
He knew that he would be as well if something like this were to happen to him.
As he was thinking about having her in his life, his cell phone vibrated. It was Axel.
Telling him about the contract, he agreed to make it simple. As soon as she had all the details put together, he’d get it finished. He told him that she just wanted her mom out of her life.
“Then I’ll make sure that I put that in there.
There is no point in beating around the bush with her.
She’s made her feelings known about how she feels about Lori.
” Lori must have told Axel what she’d said to her when she’d been on the phone.
“I can have this ready for her to look over in a couple of hours. I’ll make it as simple as I can, and she’ll be able to read it on her own and understand.
But like she said, she’d be better off having an attorney there with her just to make sure that she understands the ins and outs of this contract.
I’m excited to be able to help her with this. ”
“I believe that she’s excited, too. And happy to have some say in what’s going on with her mother.
She actually told her that she hated her, Axel.
Like all her life has been a lie for no other reason than she didn’t want her to be there.
She should have given her up for adoption or something.
” He said that was what scared him. “Yes, she did say that she wished she’d given her away or sold her.
I can’t believe that. Her own mother treating her like that. ”
“I can’t imagine our own mother saying something like that to us.
It would kill me if she thought that she didn’t love us.
For as much as I love her, I don’t want to think about her not loving me.
” He agreed with him. “I’m going to get started on this thing right now.
I have enough information that I can get a good start on it.
If she has any changes to it, then it will be easy to fix.
I’ll give her a couple of copies so that she can mark it up if she wants.
But I have a feeling that she’s going to want more in it as time goes on.
Do you know when Lorena will be released? ”
“No, I’ve not heard. I know that the judge isn’t due in until next week. Maybe we can get this finished up before she’s released. I think that would help Lori more to have her in jail for a few more days.” She started waking up, and he told Axel that he had to go. “I’ll talk to you later.”
“I must have needed that.” She stood up and stretched, and he felt his cock do the same thing. Adjusting himself without her noticing, he sat there for a few extra minutes while she told him that she was going to check on dinner. “I guess I have to talk to Axel soon.”
“I spoke to him while you were getting your beauty rest.” They both laughed.
“He’s going to work on it now and get back to you.
I told him what you said about making it simple for her to be able to read.
He told me that if you wanted to make any changes after he gets it to you, then it’ll be easy once he gets the paperwork down. ”
“Thank you for that.” She went to the kitchen, and he stayed where he was.
As soon as he thought that he could stand up without falling on his face, he stretched as soon as he got up.
There was something so wonderful about having a woman sleeping in his arms that he hoped that he could do it more often.
He had to work tomorrow and wasn’t looking forward to it.
He’d been lazing about the house for the last several days, and he’d enjoyed it.
But he knew too that he was needed at work and would feel bad if he wasn’t there when he was needed.
He loved his job, but he certainly loved being able to hang out with Lori, too. She was a great distraction.
Dinner was going to be breakfast. They were having eggs and bacon, plus sausage gravy and biscuits.
The sliced fresh tomatoes would be a great addition, and he was looking forward to eating as much as he wanted.
Almost as soon as he sat down, his cell phone rang.
Not looking forward to going into work tonight, he was glad that it was his brother Audon.
“I’m going to be an extra day. Are you sure you don’t mind getting the mail for me once more?
” He said that he’d not had all that much, but he’d been collecting it.
“I have to go over some specs for the next showing, and I don’t want to have to come back here to get it done.
Once is enough for me. I know that I should be thrilled to come to France, but I’m too busy with other projects to get things done at home and be here. ”
“I don’t mind at all. You just try and have a good time.” He said that he was in France alone. “Next time, perhaps Lori and I can go with you. The three of us can have a good time when you’re off from showing.”
“You know, that sounds wonderful. Yeah, I’m going to take you up on that.
You guys could consider it a honeymoon or something.
” He said that when he went back, they’d surely go with him.
“I know in advance too when I’m going to be here, so there is very little that can pop up while it’s going on.
Hell, I might even enjoy myself for the first time since I’ve been having showings. ”
“It’s a date then.” After getting off the phone with his brother, he went back to eat. He loved having breakfast for dinner and was looking forward to having the cook make it more often. It was her first night on duty, and she had really made dinner up right for the two of them.
